Things that would be dealbreakers even in a man I was already attracted to: incompatible beliefs (especially political or religious beliefs) doesn't take care of himself (bad hygiene, really poorly dressed, terrible diet) bad conversationalist/bad listener NEET bad with kids or animals I also probably wouldn't date a man who was under 5'3", over 6'2", or obese.

Don't men prefer women with low body counts? How is a woman looking for a partner supposed to maintain a low N-count and sleep with men early in a relationship?

I think it's important to remember that casual sex, the realm where this rule holds true, is less valuable for women than it is for men. Women typically don't orgasm when they're having casual sex and the man's personality isn't visible in those situations either, so a man needs to be extra attractive to be worth it. When it comes to long term dating, I have personally found that women tend to be more attractive than the men they date.

According to this meta-analysis, men talk significantly more than women. The reason for the myth is that men tend to overestimate how long women spend speaking.

Exactly! If a man doesn't respect your no the first time, he won't respect it later.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
