I think that being yourself is one of the most important parts of building your character and confidence. Woman can give a lot of useless "advice" and I'm not saying that you should believe everything they say but what if your grandfather told you that you should be yourself? Inflating your fake ego to appear alpha would only trick the dumbest females. Most people including you would know who you really are.
