Dude, you only "lost" 3-4 days of your trip, but by the sounds of it, you had fun and got to enjoy the company of a HB9 who obviously liked you back. No one has a 100% success rate, so learn to sit back and enjoy these fleeting moments sometimes. Great story however, I felt like I was there.

Why is it so hard to believe? I should mention that I've moved from country to country my whole life so I don't exactly conform to any one culture. I've never faced any racism.
