I think I would love a "worst of the worst" list of ridiculous comments left here by angry scrotes. But then again I'm sure I could already predict what most of rhem would say, and it's probably not as entertaining as it would be sad. 😏

I find it weird that she didn't know how much he made prior to having to sus it out for herself. Almost a year and a half and this didn't come up even once?

Exactly. Even after a handful phone conversations a person should no longer be "random" or a "stranger". And if he doesn't like her enough to pay for her (assuming) reasonably priced dinner, again, why date her? The only end game here is cheap/free/easy ass.

Not only that, but looks fade for everyone with time and age. That 10/10 model type guy might (and that's only a might) age well, but at 60 he's still going to probably look like he's 60. And so are you. Wouldn't you rather find someone who's stable and kind? Looks dissipate but true friendship, respect, and understanding last. I want someone I can build with, not just someone I can look at. Some of the best advice I've heard was to take a look at your partner and picture them in old age- wrinkl…

I did this once with an ex... needless to say that 2 years into the relationship when I finally admitted I'd been faking it regularly didn't go over too well. He wasn't sad or concerned for me. He was angry, presumably because I'd bruised his tender little ego. But did he make more of an effort, in a way that might have made things better for me? Ofc the fuck not. I can count on one hand how many times he went down on me in an 8 year relationship. Not only that but rarely so much as even touched…

Both of you got more of a proper talk than I did. 😥 I mean I was educated regarding where babies came from, but NOT in any way adequately warned about the true nature of boys/men. I wasted nearly a decade of my time and damn near ruined my life on a guy I met at 17. Thanks, mom and dad.

IMHO to make a joke about your spouse stressing over work/providing while you daydream about trivial matters is in poor taste. Can you imagine if the genders here were reversed?? It wouldn't be ANY less distasteful. HOWEVER, that is not to say that she deserves that kind of backlash, harassment, and even worse the insults to her innocent child. That's outright deplorable. I've been both a SAHM and a working 60/hrs a week mother. Neither is easy but I can tell you which one I'd prefer if I had th…

I actually really like it and find it to be a turn on. Apparently I'm quite good at it and I've never thought penises were icky (unless they were unwashed... 🤮). Also I'd like to note that the more average sized ones are sometimes more fun in that it's easier to work with and accommodate orally, though bigger ones are more exciting and visually pleasing. With that being said I've been with my SO for 10 years and married for 5 and the impulse to give random out-of-the-blue bjs has definitely wane…

I think it takes less than a year to know whether or not you WANT to marry someone, but a good bit of time after the puppy love/ dopamine rush cools off to figure out if you actually SHOULD.

As a 36 yo women who has been really struggling with getting older and seeing the first outward signs of aging, I appreciate this. I am not yogurt. I am not "best by" a certain date. I am still attractive and fun, even if its in a more mature sort of way. And the wisdom and life experience I've gained in the past decade or so has been invaluable. I also missed out on my early 20s due to a shitty relationship and then being a single mother. But I refuse to let a crappy attitude stand in my way of…

This guy is so clueless... I hope to god she calls it off in favor of not humiliating herself. What you wear on your wedding day should be solely your choice. I wore an emerald green wedding dress because A). It's my favorite color. B) I'm pale and look ghastly in white, but amazing in jewelry tones and C) Fuck misogynistic conservative tradition. No one's going into this believing I'm a virgin anyhow 🤣

Ugh, I am so sorry this is happening OP. And this is exactly why "staying together for the kids" is a terrible idea. No one can fake happiness forever. Sounds like instead of using his big boy words to just admit he wasn't happy like a dozen+ years ago he just used his dissatisfaction and bitterness as an excuse to whore it up. Classy. This is absolutely not your fault OP, and I hope you don't feel like it. It's 100% on him. It sucks rn but just think: life can only get way fucking better from h…

I feel you on this. Most of the time it doesn't pay to play the "What If Game". Yes, deep down I'm always going to know that he ruined my life and assassinated my every hope and dream, but it serves no real purpose to dwell on it. Learning about why I let that happen and healing myself was far more productive albeit an ongoing process. And since I can't go back in time and get a do-over my energy is better spent figuring out where to go from here and make the best of the life I have rn.

Yes, so true. I left an abusive relationship at 25 with my 1 year old son. He seriously believed I would never leave him and "do that to our child". Um, no fool, I did this primarily FOR our child. We would have had a terrible miserable existence if we had stayed, let alone the fact I could well have ended up another statistic dead at the hands of an abusive spouse. Even though I feel I got the better end of the bargain as I got full custody, I do sometimes get angry about how unfair it is that …

I'm not even sure how I stumbled upon this post, I wasn't even aware there was a Christian rp. As a woman I am not a huge fan of trp and about 80% is rubbish- with the exclusion of the self improvement/ empowerment stuff- that I actually wish my husband would read. In any case that was a good read and I am in full agreement. I also was raised Christian and believe in traditional gender roles. I would have less of a problem with submitting/ obeying a man of I could trust him as a leader and respe…

Get out while you can. I mean it. I've been in this relationship and it doesn't get better without a stiff dose of reality metaphorically hitting him the face. If you really like him you can always get back together later on, after he's worked on himself. But he needs to know that you are not going to be his cash cow or his mommy. You have standards. You will entertain the idea of dating him again after he has pulled himself up and is standing firmly on his own two feet. You are better than what…

My man is not exactly rich and I have, to date, never been surprised with a weekend trip or really anything costing over $500 but he is good about picking me up little surprises on a regular basis. He doesn't knock other men and never talks down on guys that can afford to splurge more on their women or allow them to be a SAHM. He often says he wishes he could do this. And if I ever even casually mention that I would like something (which 9/10 times I'm planning buying for myself bc I can) he'll …

Ladies, if this is the typical sex you are having you need to find a better man. This is one time I can actually stand up and say they definitely are NOT all like that. (But 75% are, especially if below the age of 30).

Yup. That was my ex husband. Turned out to be easily the meanest person I've ever met, but upon first meeting him everyone loved him. It wasn't until getting to know him more that you saw the other side of him. And he used people- he was a legit sociopath. I don't think he ever truely valued anyone beyond what he stood to gain from them. Ugh.

I have no words... 🤦 But I do have a similar story. My ex husband was abusive in every sense. And because it can never be over emphasized: abuse is not just physical!!!. Anyways, at this point we were married with a baby and broke because smoking pot was apparently more important than manning up and supporting his family. He had some type of health issue (gall bladder possibly, we didn't drink much at all for those wondering) that made it so he often woke up in the morning ill and would usually …
