| 2 | Help with MeditationFrom what I've learned through meditation you will never be able to shut off your thoughts. Thoughts arise and disappear in our mind frequently. Meditation through mindfulness teaches you to be aware of the thoughts that come and go. Just notice them arising and disappearing in your consciousness. Basically you can't turn off your thoughts but you can learn how to reach a more peaceful state in your consciousness and through that your thoughts.
