Yeah I steer clear of any social media which isn't Reddit, and here I mostly stick only to my interest/hobby subs. 2-3 max. I only check in this sub every once in a while. It will destroy your mental health

I’ve been lucky to experience some women have true desire for me. It is crazy and I wish everyone would experience it. They do EVERYTHING for you, and spend on you, and let you do WHATEVER you want to them. They don’t give a f if you’re unemployed, or if you are unhygienic even. That is what I mean with this post. Some average dudes who have wives think they know women, but they also often have dead bedrooms or their wives cheat behind their back, or they still think about that one ex who treate…

Sounds like a book I need to read, I love Terry Pratchett
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:28 PM
1

That is exactly what makes it more disturbing
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:23 PM
1

This is very accurate actually
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:13 PM

Yeah I struggle to watch modern stuff (I know it was there before too but now it's just nostalgia I guess) the more I've become aware of this kind of conditioning
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:07 PM

I can only do my best and pray it be so!
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:05 PM

I have no background on these people and so don't know what to make of this, but I'll watch the videos later, thanks
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:04 PM

Sorry for your loss and may he rest in peace. I will raise a glass for him later
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:01 PM

I really wonder what kind of relationship these people have with their fathers, or brothers if they have them
/r/MensRights05/08/26 08:00 PM
3

I haven't seen the film, just the descriptions, but I really like and agree with your comments and analysis
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:43 PM

That's what I plan on doing. Just worried my future children will have struggles due to larger society
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:39 PM
1

Ah I see, yeah I can certainly agree that I'd probably be unsettled and uneasy if you were telling me those things too. But it seems like you've been through a lot, I'm sorry you have
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:38 PM
2

You mean you don't like/trust shoe? Or there's something about her that puts you off? I guess I can see it
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:36 PM

Your dad was also incredible and raised you well. It's admirable
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:35 PM

I was able to read that pinned post and I have to say I agree with what you've written, and its something that's begun to bother me a lot too especially recently
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:20 PM
3

If anyone loves someone as intensely as she pretended to, they assert solidarity immediately. Assume the best, sort it out in private. This is my problem with a lot of things we see in media these days, and it's usually from women to men. If you really love someone, you're not going to behave this way
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:14 PM
2

This is deeply disturbing to me just reading, I can't imagine watching it. I don't think I have the stomach for this movie
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:13 PM
1

We can only wish it to become accepted again
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:06 PM

Interesting, I took a glance at the comments of the posted video and people mentioned SmugAlana. Do these reacters agree or disagree? I've always found reaction videos weird lol
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:03 PM
1

I agree with this, I have found a lot more porn where men are humiliated than women. However I think this is more due to demand, and the audience for such content is also mostly male. To me this speaks more to the internalised shame that men are/have been raised by, which is a deeper issue
/r/MensRights05/08/26 07:00 PM
2

Some are undoubtedly grifters or pick-me's just trying to appeal to a certain niche. However, my stance is that as long as the content is good, raises good points and issues without spreading more hate, it doesn't matter
/r/MensRights05/08/26 06:57 PM
3

Who? I'd love to know a few
/r/MensRights05/08/26 06:40 PM
1

I'm curious what hostility those bring? I mean I'm very similar in that I also don't like being touchy and don't like getting in fights.. Unless I'm misunderstanding you
/r/MensRights05/08/26 06:32 PM
1

I haven't watched her videos but seems like she loves blue collar men going off video titles/thumbnails?
/r/MensRights05/08/26 06:03 PM
3

Honestly you're kind of amazing for going through that and not having some kind of bitterness, it might not make me hate women but I'd be more mistrustful for sure
/r/MensRights05/08/26 05:59 PM
3

Definitely true, great point
/r/MensRights05/08/26 05:56 PM
1

Yeah it's a crazy society we have now. And many people are happy with it being this way, I don't get it
/r/MensRights23/06/26 07:31 PM
4

Depends what stage you're at. Right now I'd just like to believe it isn't hopeless
/r/MensRights29/05/26 11:45 AM
2

Commanding your wife's respect is very much possible and should be done. Dominating her in every way though.. I mean I like the idea but it's not exactly very feasible
/r/MensRights29/05/26 11:40 AM
1

Yeah true I didn't know your particular situation so probably was off base. Its crazy to text someone that much if you barely know each other
/r/MensRights29/05/26 11:39 AM
1

Guess I was wrong then. Disgusting
/r/MensRights29/05/26 11:38 AM
1

Hmm. Perhaps I'm biased here, but like as a man, I would hate being ghosted if I didn't know I was doing something irritating. Maybe I'm off base here
/r/MensRights29/05/26 02:04 AM
3

I see. Yeah men get way more picked on for that. Man deciding not to date makes him a misogynist, woman deciding not to date equals "taking back her power, decentralising men and being independent"
/r/MensRights29/05/26 02:02 AM
6

I assume this means deciding not to date? You're right in your third point. Men deciding not to date = incel, misogynist, loser. Women deciding not to date = don't need a man, independent, self care
/r/MensRights29/05/26 02:01 AM
10

Possibly, but I mean on like the reunion episodes and stuff when dealing with the fallout - how guys talk about the breakups vs how girls talk about them, how respectful the guys are (have to be) versus the inverse for the girls
/r/MensRights29/05/26 02:00 AM
1

I know basically nothing about her besides her name, but didn't she have a controversy about being a pick me because of an album cover and name? Or was that also sarcastic?
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:43 PM
1

Honestly I think the best relationships are when there's a 2+ year age gap man to woman. Anecdotal of course
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:41 PM
2

Many men probably do feel less needed or less able 2 prove competence compared 2 older generations. Feel this so much
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:26 PM
2

Your traits listed are basically my ideal version of the man I want to be. Problem is that people take issue when you want to say that being that way is "manly" because they'll say you're traditional or outdated. I guess I'm saying I like a bit of difference in genders, and masculinity/femininity
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:22 PM
2

What is mgtow/wgtow? Agree with your points btw
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:16 PM
6

Interesting point, never thought about it that way
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:10 PM
2

I know that takes up a lot of time, and I hate it too. But ghosting without telling why isn't cool man. But also, I'm surprised she texts this much if you barely know her
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:08 PM
2

Lol, in a perfect world that would be nice but unfortunately I don't see how that can happen
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:08 PM
11

Man how I wish there were men only gyms near me, so I could just go, get a workout and be done without dealing with any bs
/r/MensRights28/05/26 09:07 PM
7

You sound like a good person, and I'm happy for the people in your life. I also agree with you - aside from engagement, the people who are on here most are also people who have troubles in their own life, so their issues may be triggered or are venting, without you being able to know much about them (since typing is harder than if you were talking). That also causes misunderstandings from and by the people posting the question. That just makes the problem worse.
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:52 PM
5

Yeah, man
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:50 PM
13

Women who are all about "supporting women" even if she did something wrong are awful, I do think it's more about demonising men. You need to remember you're a human before you're a woman. And same goes for men of course
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:49 PM
9

Yup, pretty much. Not sure I could trust any woman with my deeper thoughts
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:48 PM
12

God yes this is so true.
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:47 PM
10

Red pill is better than blackpill imo, at least in red pill it's about bettering yourself to play the game rather than giving up
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:45 PM
19

Man those guys give a terrible name to actual gentleman who helps a woman when she actually needs it, and not just to earn favour or attention
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:45 PM
21

I was just reading about this on another post. A guy was posting about relationship troubles, and his post was peppered with "it didn't bother, doesn't bother me" etc. And you could tell he needs to make this clear, lest he be shamed for being an "insecure manchild". You also see this on those trash reality dating shows on Netflix - guys have to be extremely careful and tiptoe around things, show themselves in a very woman-centric light, and even then get bashed by women.
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:43 PM
7

For sure. Women will just use this as if it's a trump card
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:42 PM
6

Yeah, agreed. Some therapists are awful, but a good therapist lets you flow like a river, and just gently tries to guide it, help you realise why you feel a certain way, and what aspects may be harming you
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:41 PM
8

Yup, totally get it. And I know for myself my negative opinions of women are also shaped by women I've seen (such as in posts like this or on this sub). I try not to let it infect my judgements when meeting new people though
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:39 PM
4

Agree. I'm also guilty of it
/r/MensRights28/05/26 08:38 PM
2

Don't know why it was downvoted, I was genuinely asking
/r/MensRights08/05/26 09:58 PM
2

I see your perspective, it's interesting, I didn't think of it like that before
/r/MensRights07/05/26 12:39 AM
1

Typically the derisive white knighting (I guess now replaced by "simping") is just standing up for a woman regardless of her bad behaviour, to the detriment of your own gender or hoping to win favour with her. That's an insult imo. The actual white knighting is standing up for a woman when she's being unfairly targeted or bothered. That's chivalry, a good thing imo
/r/MensRights06/05/26 02:41 PM
2

People call guys "white knights" with the same derision people call girls "pick mes" so probably that. For actual white knights, I guess maybe Amazonian lol.. Though I don't like the idea of that
/r/MensRights06/05/26 12:45 PM
2

Kind of in the same boat, while I disagree myself with a lot of feminist thought, I also disagree with quite a few of the posts here. But it's thought provoking and helps me see things through a different lens
/r/MensRights05/05/26 12:44 AM
2

Interesting take, can't say I've thought of it like that before
/r/MensRights05/05/26 12:44 AM
2

Fair enough, yes I understand your argument.
/r/MensRights05/05/26 12:28 AM
1

Tbf looking at the video there do seem to be a few (very few) women who are having empathy. I'm glad they exist. The other ones are disgusting to read
/r/MensRights04/05/26 11:04 PM
1

But they'll tell you they are and why you're not
/r/MensRights04/05/26 10:55 PM
1

Sorry that happened to you. I'm curious to know what you were trying to do
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:45 PM
1

Probably not, I don't watch a lot of her videos, just came across a couple of her shorts. Maybe I'll take a better look later. I didn't fully agree with her takes either, but I thought atleast she's willing to give it a consideration and didn't see anything nefarious
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:42 PM

I wouldn't trust any woman enough to cry in front of her (except for my wife on certain occasions). I cry often, but if I'm doing it I'm doing it alone in the bathroom in private. Crying at shows/movies excepted
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:19 PM

They have no messaging to women to be better for men but have lectured us for decades on how we must be better for women. Its crazy how true this is
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:17 PM
-1

That's interesting, like what?
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:16 PM
1

Despicable behaviour
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:12 PM
1

I've seen a few of her videos, I haven't really seen anything problematic
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:12 PM
1

Ive watched some of Emily King's videos, I didn't think she was as you say. Maybe I haven't seen them through that lens
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:09 PM
2

I resonate with this point a lot - I don't want my daughter becoming disposable as much as my son would be. I'm here to make sure my son would be less disposable, not my daughter more so
/r/MensRights04/05/26 08:08 PM
1

I like your conclusion and I think it's an important one. Men and women have their own strengths and specialities - we can learn from one another and we should embrace and appreciate these differences, that's why we have partnerships and marriage. For a personal question, why did you feel humiliated being around men?
/r/MensRights04/05/26 07:50 PM
5

Yeah that's how it is now, women stand up for another woman even if they're wrong because "girl code" and if you don't then you're a "pick me"
/r/MensRights04/05/26 07:43 PM
1

So more than twice the amount of women choke on food than be killed by their man, hmm
/r/MensRights04/05/26 07:41 PM
5

I don't agree that women need men more, I think they both need each other but lately it seems like men need women more
/r/MensRights04/05/26 07:39 PM
2

I do believe men have the sense of duty, honour, sacrifice more. I wonder if it's a biological thing as that's more of our role in society. But men are awesome indeed. I've seen some of Jordan Peterson's stuff, I find myself agreeing to his points often. I'll check out the other stuff too
/r/MensRights02/05/26 02:22 PM
2

How do you do that? Anything or any resources you'd recommend?
/r/MensRights02/05/26 12:51 AM
1

The counter point to the self sufficiency is that then we'd end up like that guys wife's friend - a partner has nothing of value to bring us. Personally I like the fact that there are things both people are good or bad at (not necessarily traditional things) - me personally, I prefer doing the manly things. But it doesn't have to be so. Maybe I'm just immature
/r/MensRights02/05/26 12:26 AM
3

I'm of this opinion as well - we're not as different from animals as we pretend to be
/r/MensRights01/05/26 11:58 PM
3

I think it works in reverse as well - I've been surrounded with men my entire life and I do think I'm lacking female presence in my life to give me some nuance. It's similar for a few of my friends too
/r/MensRights01/05/26 11:55 PM
2

That plus they probably had some bad experiences (like the one described in the post), which compounded by the social media echo chamber
/r/MensRights01/05/26 11:53 PM
1

I think it's sadly the opposite, a man who is single will probably be lonelier, as he has/had less options and is more likely not single by choice
/r/MensRights01/05/26 11:51 PM
1

I thought I was
/r/MensRights12/04/26 07:05 PM
1

This is my stance on a lot of things similar to this, so I get where you're coming from
/r/MensRights12/04/26 12:09 PM
1

I am one of those men who attaches myself to those roles. What am I supposed to do without it?
/r/MensRights11/04/26 09:50 PM
1

I agree with you. I don't think it's a double standard
/r/MensRights11/04/26 09:42 PM
1

I have no idea what the first part of this comment has to do with the second.
/r/MensRights11/04/26 09:40 PM
1

That was my first thought too haha
/r/MensRights11/04/26 09:39 PM
5

Tbh I don't think that's a bad thing, you just probably shouldn't fully judge the person and stay away, just be a bit more on your guard
/r/MensRights11/04/26 09:36 PM
22

Honestly I wish other people also agreed, we really don't need to give these women a platform..
/r/MensRights11/04/26 09:33 PM
28

Pretty sure the title was purposeful clickbait, but if that's the content then that's pretty good of her
/r/MensRights11/04/26 08:43 PM
5

So what's the video about? Edit: nvm, saw your comment below
/r/MensRights11/04/26 08:42 PM
1

Thanks!
/r/MensRights28/03/26 04:32 AM
1

Where can I find out more? I think there used to be a subreddit for this, I visited a few times a while ago but I think it was banned (typical)
/r/MensRights28/03/26 01:02 AM
1

Sorry, what does this mean?
/r/MensRights27/03/26 06:27 PM
1

Fully agree there
/r/MensRights10/01/26 05:46 PM
3

Oh yes, I agree with that. There are aspects where the punishment does more harm than good, but you should have punishment
/r/MensRights10/01/26 04:08 PM
3

That's okay. I'm certainly not suggesting you should make light of it to people who actually went through it. And I recognise you might not always know who has gone through it
/r/MensRights10/01/26 04:07 PM
1

Are you assuming the jokes are being made to the person in question, or to random people? Because I'm imagining jokes being made in groups of people who know each other far removed from those involved. That's the time and place
/r/MensRights10/01/26 02:47 PM
4

I agree with what you say, but not sure what you mean by "nurturing over safety"?
/r/MensRights10/01/26 05:43 AM
3

It depends on the time and place for jokes, and also its not always the same situation.. I think most men remember being horny teenagers wishing we could "get with" the hot teacher, having fantasies and so we apply that to these situations. But it's often more predatory and disturbing, which I don't think should be lightened
/r/MensRights10/01/26 05:41 AM
1

Yeah for South Asian males it's pretty bad, particularly because there are a lot of us causing problems especially around where I live, so it's difficult as you're tarred with the same brush. In addition we rank lowest amongst ethnicity women want to date
/r/MensRights08/01/26 06:55 PM
1

I think by "before" he means "in the past". As in, you and your girlfriend and your wife have all had sex before/in the past
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/18 05:27 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
