Try to gauge and match a woman's emotions and involvement. Harsher might be his version of space, containing your emotions until you can feel and see that hers are at the same level, and showing restraint.

I have seen the befriend the jocks comments and agree. If you get it even better with them, play into their bullshit, then girls will eventually see that you stand out among these egotistical airheads.

Depends on drunkeness, their personality, and awareness really. Some girls are fun in nature and dance with many men throughout the night. That's just who they are, they go out to interact, enjoy themselves, and do not acknowledge or have the awareness of "oh this guys hard and horny". Add alcohol in and they don't usually acknowledge it. But, to counter that with another truth about women, most are pretty aware and have intuition. They usually know but either dont acknowledge or they act on it.
