Lol how is this such a common story? I thought I personally knew who you were talking about for a moment

I’m sensing I almost went on a date with someone that follows that philosophy. She said she’s an investment and I need to pay up. I asked “what’s the ROI?” and she said “I give 110% in effort” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I thought I was being trolled but that subreddit makes me think she may have been serious

I mean, I can appreciate women who know what they want and makes that clear upfront. The problem is they don’t really focus on improving themselves and having something that would make them worth the “investment.”

I got banned from r/Muslimmarriage for bringing that up. Mod tried to manipulate it by saying there are more women than men but nah, it says right in the Hadith why women are the majority in Hell (it doesn’t say most women are going to Hell, just the majority of people in Hellfire are women).

This doesn’t outrage me at all. AWALT. They yell and scream about their rights but demand leeway when you demand yours. Example: there’s a meme going around that says “In Islam, my (females) money is mine. My husbands money is mine. And I get to ask for any dowry I want.” True, a females money is hers and a man can’t touch it. “My husbands money is mine.” Untrue. A woman is entitled to a portion of his money for living expenses. The man has to provide adequate shelter and for the weather of the …

I think this is accurate. Notice, it says “kind”, not “nice.” Kind is defined as “sympathetic or helpful nature.” “Nice” is defined as “pleasing and agreeable.” Two works that are usually synonymous but actually aren’t! Take ex-radio host Tom Lekyis for example. He wasn’t nice but he’s sympathetic and helpful by being blunt or an “asshole.” He’s kind! A nice person is more like Oprah who is always wanting to build a connection with people by being friendly. Women want men like Tom, not Oprah. It…

As a Muslim, I have to get married to have sexual relations with women. Luckily, we have a religious ceremony which we don’t need to have registered with the state. You could say they could get us on common law marriage but that’s an uphill climb that’s not even recognized in all states. Women can’t really come up with a reason why we should get a civil marriage instead of just a marriage covenant.

Love for another person is conditional. Those conditions are respect, integrity, kindness, and reciprocity. Pretty simple stuff, or so you thought. Understand people work in their interests, not yours and we’ve been raised to believe women deserve our love and respect because of misconstrued notions of chivalry and manhood. How do you get over her emotionally? By learning to love yourself. It’s rough but it’s imperative you start building a life for you, instead of for the “we” you thought you h…

That’s why a place like this is so important. Remember, women do not have the same ethics as men do and as 50% of the population, we can’t totally avoid them. Society might say we’re paranoid and/or obsessed but remember AWALT. They are the greatest risk to our personal freedoms

He can’t logically be proven innocent. It’s a he said-she said. She was in a sexual relationship with the guy for months. Shows up at his house after his life is on the up and up, and then causes chaos for years with complete anonymity. For blue-pilled society, he’s the “embarrassment.”

Almost exposed myself as MGTOW when a local politician refused to be alone with a woman and my female Facebook friends were in an uproar. Of course, men shouldn’t rape women. But if the statistics are to be believed that 1 in 4 women are sexually assaulted by men, why should they insist on being alone with men? They should be avoiding it. Men who are afraid of being falsely accused are being proactive by staying away from women and that seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Although I would agree he showed his cards too early. In any relationship, you should act more aloof than you actually are. He just looks crazy because nothing happened and the uninitiated to human (especially female) nature will give her the benefit of the doubt-like you just did

Disagree. Although nothing is proven, experience suggests this is a “shit test.” Meeting someone for dinner after work isn’t normal. If it is, she wouldn’t be asking permission. Women having male friends and asking permission to go to dinner with them also isn’t normal. Test the waters before going full on “hoe” is a pattern of a cheaters behavior.

I was everything my wife said she wanted. I was kind, supported her ever changing dreams, patient, reasonable, religious, had a great job and enough passive income to pay basic expenses just in case. Always made sure she was satisfied in bed and always got her consent before doing anything sexual. Looking back, there were serious red flags that there was something wrong but every time I’d try to address it, she would say I’m being insecure and not to worry about her. The beginning of this thread was about religion. Nobody asked OP for his input on religion but he thought it was prudent. Then I give my perspective. There are more important matters in Islam than marriage and divorce but that’s the topic of the thread. Talking about the technicalities of marriage and divorce in Islam is dawah. You learned something new. Doesn’t mean you’ll convert to Islam. If you gave a Buddhist quote, cool. I would learn something new. Doesn’t mean I would be all huffy puffy …

I didn’t bring up religion, I just commented on someone that brought up religion and gave my perspective. MGTOW let’s you do whatever you want. You’re going your own way. I’m MGTOW and I choose to practice Islam. If someone wants to practice Islam, nothing wrong with giving my perspective (or dawah as you call it). MGTOW philosophy isn’t above religion. Islam is an individuals theocracy which compliments MGTOW. Other religions probably have the same and no offense should be taken if someone shar…

If Buddhism has some MGTOW principles, why not? Islam inevitably comes up and as a practicing Muslim, I could speak to my perspective. Avoid alcohol, avoid being alone with women, don’t go around fornicating, asset protection via customary marriages, etc. how is any of that propaganda contrary to the MGTOW way?

Because you can be any religion and still be MGTOW. We’re talking about marriage and divorce. Marriage and divorce are religious acts. How do you stay within the bounds of Islamic law and still have a sex life? Get married but don’t register it. Sure dealing with women might be trouble but some MGTOWs might consider this a worthwhile strategy to manage risk.
/r/MGTOW11/02/19 01:52 PM

That’s a fair statement. Not religiously ordained but they can ask for whatever they want as a mahr. Some will ask for a high mahr ($20,000+) and some will ask for a low one ($100). I think a high mahr is fair because the dude can be a jerk and just divorce her for no reason and a high mahr is a good check and balance to protect against that.

Muslim men aren’t allowed to wear gold. If a man gives his wife gold, it’s hers to keep in the event of a divorce.

The Middle East doesn’t follow Islamic law. You get an Urfi marriage and keep the government out of your business wherever you can. Cultural norms won’t like it but marriage is a religious practice so no need to get the state involved from a religious perspective. Girls family won’t like it though because there is no legal protection for her, but as a God-fearing man, I wouldn’t violate my vows

You can eat bacon and drink whisky and still be a Muslim. They’re sins, not blasphemy. Say the shahada with a sincere intention and you’re Muslim. That’s all there is to it

What’s over the top about it? You know you’re committing adultery, you know the law, and 3 upright Muslims saw a penis entering the vagina. That’s a pretty high burden of proof. Getting pregnant while the husband is away or insisting/admitting you committed adultery are other ways adultery can be proven (rape and insanity not included).
/r/MGTOW10/02/19 04:25 PM
1

No need to commit adultery. Marriage and divorce are easy religiously. And not just anyone can stone. It has to be someone appointed by the Islamic courts appointed by a Calipha and the burden of proof is pretty high

Divorce is nearly impossible in the Catholic Church. Islam makes divorce a possibility and once the relationship is over, it’s over. No alimony, no child support, no wrangling over assets.
/r/MGTOW10/02/19 04:15 PM

Islam has the best divorce laws. Marriage young is recommended but divorce isn’t so bad. When you’re divorced, both spouses get nothing from the other other than what they own. Kids go to mom while breastfeeding. Dad after that. Rules change when safety is an issue.

That’s true but OP now says he can do it through his attorney. That’s absolutely false. He can sue in civil court but is he really going to hire an attorney to pursue a person for monetary compensation for a THOT walking into a locker room, calling the police on him, and the police taking his side?
/r/MGTOW27/01/19 12:56 PM

I don’t know any common law system where a person can decide to charge a person with a criminal act or through a legal representative
/r/MGTOW27/01/19 12:47 PM
1

Your lawyer can’t press charges. The prosecutor can. You claimed the police said you can press charges. You can’t. You can ask them to pursue collecting evidence of a crime but what attorney would take your case to a prosecutor? A defense lawyer wouldn’t be interested in pursuing charges towards her. A civil lawyer would be looking for financial compensation.
/r/MGTOW27/01/19 12:45 PM

For minor crimes but it’s not at the victims discretion. You’re right a prosecutor likely won’t waste their time on a minor crime if the victim won’t cooperate.

Couldn’t the same be said about the US? Men are poor. Nevada has a few million plus next to the most populous state in the United States. Short drive from one of the wealthiest parts of the US but still hasn’t changed a thing.

I disagree with this. Nevada and parts of Europe, Middle East, and SE Asia has legalized prostitution. Still has simps

Due to inter-sectionalism. Find other “oppressed” groups and ally with them in rebelling against the system. Funny thing is, Muslims from the Middle East and SE Asia immigrating to the West are treated better than at home for the most part. The parents who immigrated get it. It’s their kids that want to be edgy.

It’s not our job to teach our spouses a lesson. If they still can’t act right after a bit of physical pain, time to get out. I see it as it’s a right on a man to do it but it comes with responsibility to not let emotions take hold and become unjust but at the same time, we can take out a little bit of steam before having to completely terminate the relationship.

First thing is to talk with them. Then stop sleeping with them. Then the beating as you described, then divorce. In the US, beating your wife would get you in legal trouble. Plus, I don’t want a wife that I have to hit to get respect and kindness. I was the best husband I could and she repeatedly told me how happy she was to have me in her life. To discard me because of minor....I can’t even call it issues...was traumatizing. I talked to her face to face and she said she would work with me on fi…

Islamically its a sin so she needs to repent or it’ll be a bad deed. There’s no proof she committed adultery (i.e. had sex with the guy) and I don’t think she did (nor do I really care). I don’t know if there is a punishment or consequence to having an invalid marriage contract. It just means they’re not really married and if they don’t do it the right way, their relationship is sinful and the children are illegitimate which impacts familial rules (like inheritance, parental obligations, lineage…
