If I do end up inviting her I'll pay, but never on the first date just go for a walk, if she's into you she won't give a fuck what you do

She understands that we won’t have time 24/7 for her, we are still worried about her being alone though. Care home is not an option for my brother apparently , i’m not sure what the alternative would be

Experiencing life to its fullest (or atleast more than i'm used to) did that for me. Go try new things, find people to connect with etc.

Sorry, while she is obviously stupid to claim that, isnt it the same advice given here?

Improve your applications. Find out if theres a friend who you can stay at just in case. Try to focus on you school , but first get everything else settled.

Sadly I can't elect other courses than those the university gives me. But I was wondering, did you always find business interesting or did that just pop out to you as you went to those courses?

Well, took the advice and talked to a few counselors, but they weren't really able to help me. How do I get to know myself better?

Sure, thanks for asking! Not sure if you're asking about the jaw surgery or my general/mental recovery process so I'll just go over both. As for my Jaw Surgery, It's one more month until I'm officially healed but I feel pretty normal again apart from a lisp that i now have. This is the only thing bothering me and keeping me from being social lately, however I still try to maintain the more important contacts in my life. I've been able to chew soft food lately (noodles, rice and very soft meat)…

you need to find joy in life again, we could talk all we want but ill try to cut it short. its basically whats being preached here and in every self help community/book : try new things in life, step out of your comfort zone. for me this was going to italy with one of my best friends without telling my parents, going out every day and (dont laugh) going swimming at the beach. the last thing was a key experience to me, i am 19 years old and have never learned to swim. by the end of the day i was …

I think if you genuinely enjoy them , you should keep them in your life (since it makes you happy), just dont get lost in them. I love playing csgo with my mates, but those 3000 hours ive gathered in the past 3 or 4 years couldve been used better. Don't ever value basic entertainment over your goals

Thank you so much for your answer! I've set up a proper nutrition plan with budgeting and a fitness plan already. Can't wait to get started as soon as my surgeon gives me the go. I've bought a few books since then, however I didn't feel mentally fit enough to read lately.. hope that fixes itself as soon as i can eat properly again.

I guess I'll learn from it. Already set up another girl from school to go with me, so that's something. Really needed some people to talk this shit out of me, and I'll just soft next her and see what happens. Keep answers short and simple. This is what I took from all of the answers, thanks guys. And sorry, English isn't my native language so I just translated that part from German into English haha

This is a basic step to something much bigger, namely "doing what you want". As an example: When i started losing weight, my parents confronted me about using a scale and in general knowing what I put into my body. At the beginning they almost forced me to return the scale i bought from the money i made in my minimum wage job i worked at that time parallel to school. Almost complied, and basically gave them the power to influence my nutrition alot more (which isnt a bad thing itself, just the wa…

Thanks for your tips! However, I'm only 17 and most of the guys at my gym are in their mid-twenties. Not really sure if they want to hang around a teen. I don't really do any social hobbies either :/

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
