The reality is, I'm a 50/50 person but I always put more into the relationship financially. But if I lived with someone, I'd honestly just get a cleaner/housekeeper a few hours a week. 1	Here's the reason why women are picky I agree, yard work isn't done every day. The point was things men sterotypicalily do tend to get left out of the equation. I suppose your situation is different in the US. In the UK you get 9 months maternity. So, yeah you'd expect the working parent to contribute more financially. Bit odd your partner didn't allow you to pay, especially these days. I'm not saying men shouldn't contribute to parenting or household duties. With regards to your second point. I think, in general, men work more hours than women. Thus, are out of the house far more often. In my current situation I work 55 hours plus commute, my partner works 40 from home. Women aren't that picky if you have good qualities and are a decent human being. Men seem to think women only want to date hot guys with big dicks.
