2	Let's talk finances Never just take a job. You get no benefit from taking offer #1 as-is. Always negotiate. You may not get everything you negotiate for, but then again, you might. More importantly, use it to set expectations. You're worth more than X, and here's why. Coming straight out of college, you won't be able to point to "I did Y project and brought Z in under budget," so you need other reasons to be worth more.
