Identifiying what qualitative research doesnt deal with the problem that comparing qualitative data (ability to communicate) to quantitative (separation rates) is in itself going to be a subjective task (as you are going to have to prioritise one based on your subjective opinion). Shouldn't an "academic researcher" already know this? If you are suggesting women can’t communicate without nagging it would suggest the common denominator is you, not them, as that’s not my experience. I spoke from an…

The problem is that you are comparing something which can be measured with figures like divorce rates with something that's more subjective like communication ability. And even so, correlation =/= causation. Women could initiate divorce while still being poor at communicating. Anecdotally, most women Ive met are incapable of communicating without doing so in a toxic manner, i.e. through shaming or nagging. Its my opinion that this is a major contributing factor to subsection of women who are inc…

Men on the other hand get shell-shocked when their wife suddenly divorces them "out of nowhere" as they tend to put it (reality: it's not out of nowhere, it's more likely to be the end result of not taking her emotional, companionship or sexual needs seriously while expecting his to be met 100% constantly)(women will try to communicate the issues verbally which is easily interpreted as nagging or just all-talk-no-action, and men never see the issues because they gauge the overall situation throu…

The potential health implications are the biggest problem imo, my partner should want to be healthy for themselves, not just for me (especially when you add in that I keep myself in shape too). If we want to live a fulfilling life together then the little things like portion control, eating healthy and exercise are all necessary and are not that difficult. Furthermore I would also liken it to basic self maintenance like grooming and washing oneself. If people in this thread are arguing that "lov…

We both know that for men, looks arent as much of a factor (80-20 rule, Tinder studies highlight this again). Hell what about athletic ability if we want to get into nitty gritty. Theres arguments that these are indicators of high survival ability and ability to provide which is why women tend to like athletes. My point is really that these standards come from somewhere and its clearly not just socialised into us when all around the world other cultures think the same. Its not sexism any more th…

Likewise for mens height and looks? Id argue that our preferences are not sexist but rather biological
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/21 07:22 PM
2

Could it be argued as not just a societal standard but an evolutionary one? Id highlight the studies that show corellation between promiscuousness and cheating. Men dont choose loose women due to chance of child not being theirs. My opinion is that, in the same way that women seem have an evolutionary reason to choose tall and handsome men (indicators of health and strenght as provider), men have evolutionary reasoning to choose low count women (less chance of child being someone elses).

Ok so I had a read back of responses just to make sure. You argue that its sexist to apply value soley based on womans virginity. My objection is how is that discriminatory based on ones gender? If a woman only wants a virgin man is that sexist too? Just hypothetically speaking.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/21 06:11 PM
2

Wait so you dont count the 3somes you had into your n-count?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/21 06:08 PM
1

Yes but you put the label of sexism on it. I could similarly label women as sexist for preferring a tall handsome man and placing my entire value on it. Its over-simplistic and deliberately ignores nuance in order to fit an agenda. Some women do place my entire value on my physical attractiveness and some have a preference for it. Are they similarly walking a "fine line between being just hypocritical and sexist", to borrow your words? By your own argument you have to say yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/21 06:03 PM
2

But I can still say it’s sexist because it’s deciding women are worthless based on being not a blank slate. Yes but my point is that theres a lotta men that fall into the category of prefering a woman with a lower count and not necessarily placing their entire value on it. Its just a factor, one of their preferences. If women can have a preference for a tall handsome man then why cant men have a preference for lower count woman? To me you are looking at this as overly black and white and ignorin…

To be fair theres quite a bit of middleground between a preference for low n-count or even virgin women compared to soley assinging a womans value based her sexual experience. Its my opinion that its just one of those double standards that may or may not benefit you. Im tall and good looking. Woman prefer that, is my value therefore soley based on that for a woman and are women therfore sexist? See the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/21 05:54 PM
2

The distaste for higher n-count isnt about sexual experiences necessarily but rather how easy of a lay you are to obtain. Its just one of those double standards that we have to live with and there are plenty that go the other way too. Do what you like just dont expect others to be as comfortable with it as you are. I have traits that some women dont like either and I dont try to re-adjust society for my benefit.

Sexism is discrimination based on ones gender. How is someone choosing a woman whos abstained from sex sexist? I get it that there's a lotta sexist incels on this sub who want a virgin girl but that doesnt necessarily mean that its sexist to want one. Im genuinely interested in what you have to say in this debate. Have a few other objections too if you are are up for it.

Being honest then, yes, having slept around less is better. Its not some sexist issue either. Men (like women) like to be made feel special with their partner. If she is easy than they know that they aren't that special to her. Speaking about myself even though I have slept around, I dont indulge as much as I could (as I like to take things slow). One thing that irritates me is is that I know that if a woman didn't want to be with me because of that I wouldn't claim its some sexist mysandrist is…

Id prefer to have a girl whos slept with less than to equal my number assuming everything else is good. To be honest Id hate to take a girls virginity unless I was ready to settle down and commit. Most my hoe fiends would probably look at it as a badge of honour tho.

The best "people" person you will meet doesnt need to go out of his way to make friends. Tbh I feel bad for these types, they kind of remind me of Pete Campbell from Madmen. You can see how they try mimic those who have this natural charisma and either go overboard or cant quite pull it off due to lacking that spark. At the same time they can be arrogant at their perceived "people person" status despite being deeply insecure. I see a lotta wannabe players like this too who have watched youtube v…

You could argue that you can measure it through your ability to make friends/ get along with people but then again theres so many Ive met who described themselves as a "people person" that would just approach others first with the most mundane conversation. Exactly this. I have a friend group of guys who are all relatively attractive and sleep around. The types of women described in op are the type they would sleep with but not the type that they would date. Women need to realise that men with options (i.e. men who are both physically attractive and charismatic) wont settle if you arent fun to be around and if you cant cuff a man you are attracted than its likely that your personality isnt all that. To be fair some men wont settle either way but if…

I think that men can love women without having to marry them. They could have seen the problems of marriage growing up or even in the media and know that signing a contract with fallible person is risky.

I think like many people I have an ideal list of traits of a long term partner in my head but for the time being most women dont measure up so I keep it casual. Im in no rush to settle down either so theres that to it too.

Sounds like you’re assuming a lot about me and trying to piece things together to find a way to make this personal. Why do you think you’re doing that? Are you defensive Very interesting. Usually projection isnt this blatant. Moving on, why do all these men stop bothering with you? Why cant you keep them invested? You need to admit your own faults and understand that theres a possibility (that increases drastically the more men who lose interest in you) that you played a part. If you cant then y…

She wouldn’t need to replace you if you were good for her. I tend to find that its the most fragile people who look at relationships like this, almost as some competition that has be won. Just reading how you phrase the comment you make it so that you are the one in control. You get to replace them. Theres no middleground of admission of both of your flaws, just theirs. Who are the original content creators of TRP theory? How do they fit into this description of yours? I'm not an expert in TRP lore but I'm pretty sure you'd get a lot more out of the most popular TRP "scholars" than just Ill answer this in morning and make a list. Good night.

So you were talking actual politics, as far as i have seen the only people who involve politics with TRP are feminist critics of TRP. I can't even remember to have seen a mention of politics with TRP besides when they talk of targeting women demographics for optimal results of their goal Ever hear the phrase "based and redpilled"? I feel like a lotta the questions you asked were already answered in that comment but Ill still try adress your individual objections and expand on what I was saying. Basically anything thats not "left wing" these days is labeled redpill with there occasionally being minute cross-over. What do you mean with this? Redpill isnt meant to be a political idealogy per se, even if much of the influence arose from Machievelian politics. I have a problem with conflicting ideologies such as trad-cons, inc…

Most women according to studies prefer a mixture of these visual/physical traits, but then in areas where there is a lot of disease women prefer more ”Chad” physical traits.) This still sounds like redpill. Trp is saying that attraction is diverse and that while looks or "chad physical traits" as you called them are an advantage, they are not the only factor. And can you link the study? Does "chad" traits mean these sexual dymophic traits like large jaws and shoulder width? Or is it muscle, whic…

Ya thats fair enough. Basically anything thats not "left wing" these days is labeled redpill with there occasionally being minute cross-over. Another example is how trad-cons are now apparently a part of trp community despite the totaly liberal view on sex being well established in trp which is completely at odds with trad-con itself. MGTOW and Incels are similiar to trp in many ways to be fair - they understand that what we were told growing up about life is not true but how they deal with it c…

You have read second hand accounts that are inherently less valid. Ever wonder why you are told to read the sidebar everytime you ask a question on trp sub? Because thats where the redpill theory comes from. No piece of rp text is telling you that looks dont matter and all you have to do is be a "chad" or "alpha". Only blackpillers are saying that. Theres always a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of attraction that includes but is not limited to looks that redpill understands and wha…

Trp makes it feel like beauty and alpha traits are everything Trp is much more comprehensive than that and what you are understanding is blackpill, not redpill. Refer to my other comment for explanation on redpill.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/21 02:58 PM

. It seems to cover everything from what you've just discussed, right up to quasi-blackpill beliefs. Tell me about it. The worst part is these uber-misogynists just create more of themselves in the sub by parroting off their own misunderstanding of trp as "advice" while never having read the core texts that inspired it. The community is just sad now.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/21 02:25 PM

Thats not redpill though. Not to be rude but most people don't understand redpill and make assumptions over vague statements they have heard others say. Essentially redpill theory understands that there is a multitude of a factors that result in attraction including personality, career and looks. The core understanding of trp is that personality is the most important and that while other factors like status (or career) and looks make it easier, you can become more attractive through battering yo…

I would not say that many do but I think that adhering to utilitarian worldview just isnt practical in the context of dating. The utilitarian focus on maximising overall happiness sounds great but are you really obliged to maximise someone elses happiness in something as potentially intimate as a date? What if you have to do things you are uncomfortable with like buy them expensive gifts or have sex or whatever? We dont have to do these things and theres nothing wrong with that either. Putting y…

I guess it depends on their definition of good and whether they themselves actually measure up too.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 04:25 PM

Thats quite funny because you see many women say that men who sleep with women they arent going to commit to are "lying by omission". This right here is the exact same thing. These women are lying by omission of their view on sex, which by the same logic is wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 07:00 PM

Respectfully I still disagree with the original excuse that these women are merely "vetting" men for a relationship by waiting for sex. It just sounds like women trying to rationalise and justify the fact that they sleep with some men asap because he makes them feel a certain way and then dont with others because he doesn't make them feel that same way. To be clear I dont think that theres anything necessarily wrong with this but lying to the man about your view on sex isnt right as you cant bui…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 06:49 PM

But if he finds out that she sleeps with random men asap but not with him he will perceive it as him not being attractive enough to her (and then he gets hurt). This in turn will make him less attracted to her and not feel the same way. See the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 06:37 PM

Do you consider sugaring to be a sing of success? I know most men would be disgusted by a girl who did it and wouldn't wife up.

I learned those terms from TRP though Doesnt make them rp. Pua can be argued to be a distant offshoot of rp ideology but in reality the core of trp is focusing on ones self rather than women. Black is just a darker shade of red. Both believe in the same things, but red pillers decided to go lifting while incels gave up. There is minute crossover but redpill is about as similiar to blackpill as bluepill ideology is. Your colour analogy simply doesnt work here and your inability to accept that you…

It's very true, and it's also the biggest blind spot TRP has: social game TRP seems like it's all about loner game: online dating, cold approaches, pumping and dumping women, ghosting them, not caring about them for more than a wet whole, etc Thats Pua which =/= trp Also, social game has nothing to do with having an alpha personality, as this will only be detrimental for social game. Ill never understand this mindset. Fds users seem to have it too - see their hatred for "chad" who pumped and dumped them. How could such a travesty occur to a fds queen?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 01:37 PM
5

No ones perfect and everyone can improve. This is why trp users actually succeed in their goal while fds have to buy themselves promise rings and chocolates on valentines day. I cringe at both these groups but you cant argue that trp isn't effective.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 01:33 PM
5

If you are working out you recognise you arent in shape. If you are focusing on your career you recognise you arent where you want to be yet. If you arent good at socialising and decide to practice then you recognise that you are lacking. Critique the users of trp all you like but the core philosophy is self improvement which can only come from self reflection. Conversely fds makes women think that they already are perfect, preventing them from reflecting and growing.

Thats deliberately disingenous argument though. There undeniably is unfair laws but that doesnt mean I cant try avoid them or have to move country if I dont like it. Most of these laws tend to come from what we as humans deem fair - you are misconstruing this and saying what's fair is the law when that clearly is not the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/21 10:10 AM

See it does make it flawed if your whole concept of fairness is based of the law.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/21 09:13 AM

Squaters rights are essentially a law in Uk where if squaters squat in your property you cannot physically remove them for a 9-12 months no matter what they are doing. I know someone whos childhood home was absolutely destroyed by squaters with no legal recourse. The point I was making is that these laws are quite clearly used unfairly in the modern context and so basing your understanding off fairness of whats lawful is inheritantly flawed.

Couldn't op simply adjust it to include the unrealistic romance standards set by film and media? Like in any romcom. Fuck it, even look at Pam and Jim in the office. That woman almost ruins that man's career because hes following something hes passionate in and not giving her attention she wants.

A lot of laws are used in whats considered to be an "unfair" way too. They might have been created from a moral sense but theres plenty of laws that fuck ordinary people over (see "squaters rights", how the archaic alimony laws tend to favour women in an era where we consider women to be strong and independent, etc).

As a straight man I can comfortably say that this is not true. I dont see gay men as rampant rapists unfortunately.

Straight men are seemingly threatened by the thought of a man in his orbit and potentially entering his orifices. Why would straight men be threatened by homosexual/bi men?

Im not downvoting you. So is that a yes or a no? Can you not give me a straight answer? To the person with average reading comprehension skills thats a blatant no. You asked for an opinion, you got one. I dont owe you anything but Im feeling generous, I asked a question about a certain subcategory of women. Im not downvoting you. Its a debate sub and goes against the core message. Look, you made a vague claim about the subreddit that sounds to me like its completely made up or exaggerated. Surely you can prove it? For the sake of argument?

Your original post was asking for women's thoughts on that subreddit. Your reading comprehension skills are lacking. The title of the post has remained the same. The subreddit was only listed as a supplement to understand the types of women listed. Many women who responded then decided to critique the sub rather than answer the q. So I removed it.

46.1% of single mothers are divorced or widowed. I found data based on the 2015 census in America and think maybe you mixed up one of those stats. What I found said that only 1.2% were widowed and 40.6% of single mothers are currently divorced or separated. Can you provide a source for your claim? Because your figures seems remarkably high. Unless we are actually quoting the same source and you mixed up a similiar stat which is very well possible. Alas. So that leaves 52% who had kids out of wed…

Many marriages end for reasons that would not be foreseeable at the outset. This includes death. 11% of ALL women aged 18-65 are widows. They're not some rare, mythical species. Still a small slice of the pie with the older ages no doubt adding to the figure. Also the women Im on about are generally in the late 30s-40s range. Do you have stats on widows in that bracket? 5% of all unplanned pregnancies happen to women who were using a reliable contraceptive as directed - were they psychically sup…

Im not moving the goalposts here and any interpretation of such is fallacious. What Im arguing: Single parenthood is an indication of poor decision making skills. There are exceptions of course. But if you cant select a partner who you will be compatible with or conceive a child with/ get married to then your decision making skills are lacking and you most likely are impulsive. I then say that most single parents are not capable as most people in general are not capable. The latter just proves t…

I removed the link because many people on here apparently arent intelligent enough to answer the question but rather critique the sub. In relation to your claim as it was posted before I removed the link, I believe could very well be made up which is why I asked for proof which you did not give. does that mean half of all people just have poor judgement, or that the outcome of marriage is unpredictable The former is exactly what Im saying. The average person is not that capable. Women could also be widows. Contraceptives can fail. Women who don't have a partner but want children can be a single parent by choice. Unless you choose to have unprotected sex or there was an obvious red flag with a partner (which is highly subjective), being a single mother doesn't really indicate anything ab…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/21 09:07 PM

Not who you are arguing with but marriage/having a child are the ultimate commitments and not being able to select someone who you will stay with indicates poor decision making for both parties.

I would understand if the single parents has unreasonably high standards but a lot of submissions are just women stating they have a child which is honest. Any actual examples? Ive seen the complaint from a few women already but specificy is key. Not defending the sub either, it represents a lower class of women and the comments are usually toxic. But I would like some examples rather than vague statements.

Looks like a sub that picks certain things to post that fits their narrative. But that is how these niche subs work. Just how we understand that r/niceguys doesnt represent the average man most understand that this isnt the average woman.

Honey, I'm just being me and you keep insulting me about my personality. Why should I give you the benefit of the doubt when you don't stop and even go further? You are deliberately misinterpreting something as an insult in an attempt to get some sort of argumentative win because lets face it, the rest of you points are either weak (eg: anecdotes or the "you know x is y" argument you used) or flat out wrong (the fact you claimed that the data misproved my point). Very aggressive response. Is it really necessary? Moving on: BUT HE DOESN'T WANT 80%. They can want him all they want, he doesn't want them The point that the average man makes is that the hwm doesn't even have to try to get a girl (6s and 7s are readily available to the top 20%) because these women actively seek these men. The top 20 percent of men do want these women to an extent as they will sleep with them but mostly not commit to them. The average man is always second best because women who…

Lol Im not actually the type of man Im arguing for here so the attempt at getting personal really isnt hitting home. Essentially we are comparing the quintessential "average man" with the high value man. The high value man, i.e. a man in top 20 percent of men has his pick of the majority of women as studies show that 80 percent of women want the top 20 percent men. The average man (i.e. 80 percent of men) only has his pick of the bottom 20 percent of women. You argued that if the higher value ma…

Fair enough. Do you think blaming a woman for staying with a domestic abuser is similiarly the correct stance to take?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/21 01:12 PM

Not op but this is where the 80/20 stat comes into play. Essentially the famous Tinder Study showed that 80 percent of women want the top 20 percent of men. So men who are high 7s plus can have their pick while average men who are in the 6s down doesnt have a proportional pick of less attractive women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/21 01:06 PM

You think women draw the line at slut shaming only one guy? tbh I think slut shaming is acceptable anyway. It isn't good for society to allow promiscuity As long as you are consistent with that view. Its socially unacceptable for men to slut shame in most western societies yet male slut shaming is apparently fine. Its just a contradiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/21 03:03 PM

In the same way "nice guys" and incels try rationalise women as sluts is a revenge fantasy, women calling men who wouldn't commit to them "fuckboys" or players is too. Its quite literally male slut shaming yet its widely accepted.

I think the more advanced facets of trp which includes ltr and marriage inherently include what are perceived as "blue pill" traits (comfort tests being the most prominant example). Apart from that most of trp is actually solid life advice packaged in a more dramatic way in what is generally a misogynistic community (usually because the most vocal are beginners who are going through their blackpill phase). Im not against commiting to someone for the rest of my life and having a family with them but I am against marriage. Its an archaic system thats completely destroyed the balance of power and pushed it heavily in womens favour. If a woman truly loves me they will understand and if they aren't interested then I can know that I have lost likely dodged a bullet (unless they are extremely traditional)

I don't understand. Being traditional man is seen by you as a choice (because of values, lifestyle), but a woman is modern as a default. I didnt say that. I said a lot of women and not necessarily all. Theres also modern women who sleep around and then try larp as traditional in their later years to get a traditional man. Say your man doesnt want to go. Hes happy as is and doesn't want to subscribe to archaic and sexist societal expectations of paying at all. How would you react?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 03:15 PM
7

See its seen as hypocritical to be a modern woman with modern values (equality, independence etc) while wanting a man with traditional values (formed in a time where men were meant to provide) such as paying the bills, taking you out on dates and buying gifts. Its the question that makes self proclaimed "queens" seeth when brought up. Not saying that the above is you necessarily but there are a lot of women on this sub who are hypocrites.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 03:12 PM
1

I have a few clarifying questions op: Would you describe yourself as a feminist? If yes, how do you rationalise your man paying for dates? Would you be ok with your man simply not taking you out to expensive restaurants, holidays, trips etc? If he didn not , how would you respond?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 02:45 PM
7

I think the problem is some women want to get the best of both worlds and want to pick and choose their equality. We would have to get op to clarify her position

Some would argue that its been pushed down a few years. In soccer you have Ronaldo and Zlatan still dominating despite being in their mid to late 30s. In boxing you had Floyd Mayweather dominating into his late 30s, Wladmir Klitschko too. In general though around 28-33 is usually the peak of most athletes these days. Its where the peak athletic ability and experience converge.

So in other words right now you are wrong and want to change the rules so you can be correct. This makes much more sense when I saw your comments elsewhere. He says he wants a ltr a with a high value woman. A HVW is rare and so he casually sleeps around with lower value women for the time being. Just because he doesnt want to commit to a lower value woman does not mean that he isnt against commiting, only against commiting to them. This is purely revenge fantasy for the women who couldnt snag the man they liked. "If he doesnt want me then hes just a fuckboy player who wont commit to anyone", therefore protecting their ego.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/21 10:33 PM

Not settling down with lower quality women, yes. Thats how it works for these types of men. Stop tying to protect your fragile ego and accept that some men are simply happier to keep searching and are open to a ltr only with a woman who meets his standard.

Do you actually read your own sources further than than the definition? It literally gives you examples of cases so that you can understand how its applied and you still use it wrong. Your argument is basically: "x were true then y wouldn't occur" Heres an equally invalid argument that uses the same rationale : If women really liked sex then they would never turn it down" Both this and your argument can be countered with "not all ___ " or "it depends on context" because they are fundamentally poor arguments.

I disagree with you. From experience a womans outburst is often made less of a deal off. Imagine a male coworker vrs a female coworker having a moment. People pay more heed to the male because hes physically more of a threat and men are expected to keep their emotions in check.

And in my experience women often nag in the above contexts. To be fair I don't think we are actually disagreeing but pointing out different contexts of using the word.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/21 06:22 PM
1

You definition of nag is again too vague. Theres no universal list of standards but in general a nag would be someone who keeps asking for something (when the person is busy and will later do what they asked or isnt going to do what they asked because they are uncomfortable with it.) Calling someone a nag in the above context makes sense and is right. Calling someone a nag in your context is wrong. This is why I said its contextual. Understand now?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/21 06:15 PM

The point is that theres no definitive right or wrong. Its not exactly something that can be measured scientifically.

If your only 2 options for expressing your distaste with a situation are extreme anger or extreme passive aggressiveness I think you might deserve the label of crazy person. Communicate what's wrong. Set bounderies. Be an adult. Its really not that hard. This goes for both genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/21 02:28 PM

I mean we all have anecdotal evidence. I started working out at 16 and by the time I was 17-19 I had girls approaching me, grabbing my arms and getting all touchy. They weren't approaching me because I looked like a nice guy or that I could "arouse them with words", they were approaching me because I was physically attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/21 02:20 PM

Sexual fulfillment is how a lotta men measure themselves as men (particularly redpilled men). Its not the same as social or career success.

Interesting. Theres a whole subreddit on lookism or something to that effect that composes a somewhat scientific method of calculating attractiveness. In their scale a 5 is the average person despite the fact that most average people rate themselves a 7. 10 and 0 dont exist because they are extreme outliers. Anyways out of interest going by that scale do you still think hes an 8+? Thats male model level. No need to answer if you dont want to.

Sorry to hijack this response but I thought Id take a second to answer your q. Mgtow, according to Redpill is for the weak man who cannot improve. Its been called "racist statistics" for a while now. Im just pointing out that the typical left leaning woman on this sub whos saying its ok to be wary of men based on stats is using the exact same stats that white supremacists use to profile poc. Let me specify: The left leaning/feminist women in that thread that agreed with that rationale are using the same rationale as KKK. I dove into the thread and didnt see any women arguing against it. The guy below has already re stated my point. If you are planning of being particularly wary of men due to to stats then you cant stop there. Quite literally the exact same.

I dont want anyone (women included) to generalise me or POC with sexist and racist statistics. This subreddit is probably the worst place to base your view of either gender off. Im not arguing for or against this specific video but against the idea that violence is always the wrong thing to do. There are contexts where being violent is the right thing to do like if you are being assaulted or in sports setting where 2 fighters are getting paid. Im not actually ignoring the crimes being interracial. Its from the FBI crime statistics which breaks down offender and victim. A disproportionately higher percent of African Americans are offenders to White victims. I'm simply acknowledging the fact that women need to be wary of men to survive, if they don't take precautions in life there's a good chance they'll end up the victim of a violent or sexual crime at the hands of a man. And a white male should be wary of black male to survive, if the…

We are what, 5-6 response in and its still not dealt with? Ive exposed your hypocrisy and rather than adress it you ignore, insult, rinse and…

A mixture of option 1 and 2: insult and changing the subject. And that's an argumentative checkmate. I predicted it exactly from the very start. Fds user has now forfeit via omission. I can see that my arrows have left their mark ;) Maybe you can go and complain to the boyfriend you dont have? Buy yourself another promise ring too, maybe a cat since you are so lonely.

I can see you are very good at arguing against points that no one is trying to make except yourself Thankfully FDS have already argued what they want for me. Some sexist comic once said that if you let women talk long enough they end up telling on themselves. Quite a clear example of it right here. You are creating a false dilemma that says that all men with basic financial stability are 'providers' and therefore 'traditional' and using that to argue for a contradiction in FDS ideals that simply…

Any number higher than 0 without marriage means you are no longer a traditional woman. Dressing it up with terms like "serial monogamy" are deliberately disingenous. And theres nothing wrong having slept around but again its hypocritical. Also I disagree that a man with traditional values is ideal or particularly high value in the FDS lens, since most of those men have domineering personalities and expect to be in charge of a household. Its well established fds wants a man with traditional value…

Alright thats actually fair enough. Its a bit ridiculous I have to out of my way to say it but I appreciate your amicability despite our disagreements. It seems most on the sub don't understand that you can debate without being toxic. I find FDS as toxic as TRP. Agreed. Look at some of the response FDS give to critique. Both sides are damaged narcissists.

Fds users =/= all women My problem isn't with women in general, its with fds Edit: I reckon that's where the misinterpretation stems

Nope not what I said. I get you are annoyed but I don't even need to counter what you are saying because of it Good luck to you I guess? Maybe you scimmed and misread what I said? Im in favour of feminism so I dont know what you are on about to be quiet frank.

But, I’ve had this debate many times over and men won’t agree to it. Something something biological urges. Something something keys and locks (what? How about pencils and pencil sharpeners?) ^ you arent arguing with me, you are arguing with this strawman

Its like clockwork. Your world view gets challenged, you either insult, change the subject or ignore. Anyways to my objection to FDS. Ill summarise it as follows, break down your counter (which the previous will have said) and then it will be interesting if you revert of 1 of the 3 options mentioned above. FDS woman are for the most part hypocritical. They want a traditional man while themselves having modern values (sexual liberation, having slept around in their past, independence etc). Just n…

Few people in this comment thread have already posted links to fds promoting sex on the side while dating a guy you like (with no sex) until he commits. Also you can just scroll through the subreddit and you will see modern women (i.e. women have slept around) wanting a traditional man. Again Im not shaming sleeping around. Do what you like. But its hypocritical to want a traditional man if you yourself arent a traditional woman (and the definition of traditional is well established).
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 10:57 PM
5

Who says these women are sleeping around? Fds themselves say it, who are probably different to your irl friends. Im just assuming your know what fds is

That makes sense. Thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 10:38 PM

But quite a common objection that feminists make it to models for example and say that they are being objectified but in that scenario they are consenting to modelling so you objection with consent being disputed. The response from the other person made more sense to me, that they are actually different branches under the umbrella of feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 10:34 PM

Ah so different branches of feminism. Thanks for the reply that makes sense.

I do see some prevalent double standards by typical feminists on the topic of porn. Sexual liberation is promoted but somehow porn and objectification is degrading. Would be interested if some of the women of the subreddit would adress it.

I think the other problems is that a lotta fds users want a traditional man who waits while also being modern women who have slept around. Theres nothing inherently wrong with sleeping around but it is hypocritical to want a traditional man if you do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 07:09 PM

I agree. I think similiar to feminism the core message of redpill isnt inherently bad but their communitys can be quite toxic. What op is doing is the exact same as those 14 year old athiests who call all women feminazis because the saw the worst part of that community.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/21 10:14 AM

I will say that the more valient mens right moments (im not talking about the ones that get polluted with mgtow and incels) get shut down quite quickly. A few years ago in Britain there was a talk on mens issues (suicide, depression, societal expectations etc) and so called "feminists" protested outside and abused anyone who went in. It was almost identical to those Westboro Baptist Church protests outside abortion clinics (albeit on the opposite side of the political spectrum). It doesnt help t…

When it comes to blame I was comparing how accepted it is nowadays to shame a man for being broke while theres an active movement against slut shaming and idealogys that promote it. In the end of the day Im not really worried about these types of women. They can do what they like and I have no interest being a part of their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 12:35 PM
1

I would argue that these standards are embedded and almost a part of our biology as others have explained. Rather than blaming men for not promoting going "Dutch" as you call it, shouldn't we blame modern women for still expecting said standards? Again do you are your husband still split 50/50? Or does either or pay more?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 12:05 PM
1

Men get shamed for it too "broke, cheap etc", i.e, wallet shaming From my experience though I vet for this type of thing (if they ask me/try make me buy them a drink its a major red flag and I move on). But if they pay for drinks too its a green flag. These are still implicit societal standards though that arent going to change any time soon. The same women who promote sexual liberation actively hide their count when they meet someone they like. That should say it all really. Your case is differ…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 11:59 AM
2

Commendable of you but its fair to say that generally men are expected to pay and its just one of the double standards that we have to live with. Its the same for women who sleep around. They lose value as a partner and thats just how it is. I see a lotta women trying to play both sides though which is ridiculous, they want a traditional man who provides for them while not being a traditional women (sleeping around in this case).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 11:52 AM
2

Do you go 50/50 paying for dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 11:46 AM

There are double standards that benefit both sexes. Men prefer lower count girl, women prefer providers. Out of interest how often have you paid on the first date?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 11:00 AM

Are we really going to willfully ignore that there are certain double standards that both sexes have? Women seem to want the of both worlds which you cannot have.

Interesting, thanks for the response. Just have one more add on q. To specify, is exercising considered a foundation for fds as it is for trp? Or is fds one of those "yas Queen" type communuties where everyone is already perfect and doesn't need to change? And if fds is one of those "you are perfect the way you are" type groups do you think its contradictory for a fds user who doesnt exercise to want a hvm?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 01:11 AM

You are right op. Theres nothing inherently wrong with being promiscuous but most men dont want a woman who has a promiscuous past and theres nothing inherently wrong with having that standard either.

Would you mind answering a few qs about fds? Would you agree that both communities are quite toxic? Does fds have a self improvement core similar to TRP? (Im talking working out, hobbies etc) Do you think that the fds standards are too high for most women to achieve? (Everyone wants a top 5% earner, Traditionally attractive man) Do you think that some of the standards of ideal man contradictory? (Fds women want a top % earner who somewhow has the time to be loving and affectionate which would he…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 12:37 AM

I agree but also will add that the behavior change that redpill promotes the most is working out/picking up hobbies which will increase ones value. To my knowledge fds focuses on manipulation part without encouraging lifestyle changes mentioned above.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 12:22 AM
3

A lotta the women you see on FDS are low value women who call themselves high value. They have all the worst traits; over entitlement, manipulative, narcissism etc. Trp is quite toxic but atleast it actively encourages self improvement and some sort self accountability. Fds doesn't.

Having said the previous I will say good luck. Thats the trouble you are always going to have when you rely heavily on statistics as a left leaning person. I did bait it out because I myself have faced the same problems with it. There are statistics for everything.

What you and Edward Snowden are missing Its actually fairly well established in the circles of philosophy and digital rights that privacy should be protected. Not just me and Edward Snowden. You obviously will justify this though statistics right? Please provide a source. It's okay to care about privacy, but is it more important than women's li…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 06:01 PM

To add to my previous comment this would not affect me. I dont use online dating or have a criminal record. Im make saying this because people immediately become accusatory when anyone challenges privacy breaches. (What do you have to hide? Are you a threat to people around you? etc) I am just concerned with human rights being protected.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 05:46 PM

You need to redefine how you look at privacy first of all. Duckduckgo posted a pretty nice summation about it here. Privacy isnt about hiding information its about protecting it. We all have information that we want to protect (medical records, intimate secrets, voting etc) and when you allow these invasions of privacy proposed by Tinder then you are consequently allowing your privacy rights to your sensitive information to be forfeit too. The implications are of course quite serious. Edward Sno…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 05:41 PM

I dont use online dating but this would be a pretty severe breach of privacy. Some will try justify it by the "if you have nothing to hide" fallacy but that still doesnt excuse this. You dont owe anyone any information. They are not entitled to it. I know a lot of Americans will be pro this kind of thing because this invasion of privacy is the standard over there.

Even the idea paraded around here of the idealised "uber-fuck boi" who "just wont commit" is incorrect. Women want to believe that theres something wrong with the man in that situation because he wont commit to them so they try rationalise it as him just never committing. But the fact is that pretty much all of these men do ultimately commit, just not to them. They arent of high enough value which is a blow to the ego.

In relation to situational awareness you are absolutely right. I worked as a bartender in a few different places and saw tons of fights start. Theres always a build up. You cant let people get close because these types will try sucker punch you. But in general you can de-escalate. I agree to an extent. The act of having high standards isn't inherintly wrong but a lotta these people act like theres some societal problem (e.g. incels say western women are ruined thanks to feminism, obese women complain about traditional beauty standards) rather than looking at themselves. I don't think they do. If they get married, they cheat. What percentage cheat, isnt it like 20% for both genders? Thats not most men. Anyway. By your logic this guy is dating his wife while also dating and sleeping with a woman he doesn't care about at all. If you don't want to be in a relationship, you can say no. Your "no" should be respected but its also a convo that can take place over text or out in public somewhere. It is absolutely not close to being similar to being alone with someone bigger than you who is begging you for an immediate action. Um did you read the article? Research studies have proven that there is no link between kids who behave aggressively toward other kids and low self-esteem. Yup so we agree? Not all players are liars right? Some men rack up a body count bc they regularly go after drunk women, pressure women for sex, or lead women on. These types disgust me But in relation to leading someone on. How do you define it?

If a guy is spinning plates and leading women on for sex, he feels the only way he can get sex is by lying. I think if you are only approaching a girl just to have sex with them they will pick up on it.
