You should be equals, not "alpha". You need to sit her down and be dead serious that she isn't treating you right, lay out what she's doing that makes you feel controlled, and tell her that you two either need to talk and work shit out or you're out.

That is very true; some of those extremists get pretty loud with their opinions... I would moreso say Im an equal rights advocate for anyone struggling for it... did rainbow alliance all through college and have recently been getting into the disability rights movement (bfs brother has cerebral palsy). So in that way Im an MRA activist as well, but I make a big deal about moderation. Cant be all one side or all the other, its far better to find a middle ground. It is horrible to see rape accusat…

I used to be a feminist and /r/mensrights has shaken my worldview pretty badly.
