Tbh, as far as I've experienced (m31), there's no real "game" as far as women go, if you're not trying to hard. Just live your life and do what makes you happy and healthy. Everything else just finds a way, brother 🤙

Are you... high... or drunk? Like in this moment? Lol No one blamed men in general for anything. Not one time in this whole discussion. I implied that you and the professors in this situation are pathetic, yes. But pathetic doesn't apply to all of us men. And for the record, the professors are still less pathetic than you 🤣 Enjoy your day kid

Listen, there's clearly no convincing you with any kind of logic because you're dead set on reinforcing your own disdain for women. I don't have that. I joined this sub because of the inequity in the Texas family court system I've experienced in my custody battle. I don't blame women for that. They didn't write the codes to be the way they are. We have different lives and different perspectives, personally I think yours is clouded by bitterness but hell I could be wrong. I had a sugar mama in co…

That all sounds like the professor's fault though 🤷‍♂️

But that's my point... the data you're talking about shows no evidence that they don't...

Okay? So you're upset there are female pilots in general? I'm not seeing the point here. There are short dude pilots too. I thought you were asserting that there was height discrimination but that's clearly not the case
/r/MensRights14/11/24 12:57 PM

Okay average height is different because men are taller on average dog. It's fine 😁

Okay but another problem. She's not going after them... and she's taking professional opportunities... not money.

I don't understand how you view her as conniving for this. She literally is just saying "I'd be dumb to turn these opportunities down" lol She's right though. She didn't make pretty privilege. But she would be dumb not to take advantage 🤷‍♂️

Well I can say for Texas, my ex's husband had to sign paperwork acknowledging my kid wasn't his. We didn't have a paternity test or anything cuz it was kind of painfully obvious the kid was mine 😅 But they should do paternity testing at birth or whenever results are clear, unfortunately in a lot of states, even if the husband signs off stating that the kid is yours, the state still gives the husband full legal responsibility for the child, like Louisiana is one I know operates that way. Either w…

Are you citing the average heights of male vs female pilots?

If you didn't want a kid from the start, why not wrap up or get snipped? I got snipped a month after my son was born, and honestly, I'm blown away that this isn't advertised more. It's reversible, super reliable, painless, I highly recommend it 👌

Whether you want to be a parent and she wants an abortion, you have no say This part I agree with because I'm not the one who's carrying and making a person. She's gotta change how she eats, drinks, sleeps, everything. So I'm fine with that. Worse still, I hear horror stories where fathers find out the kid(s) aren't theirs, but, because they signed the birth certificate at the time (under the premise/assumption the kids were theirs), they're still forced to pay. Yeah I'm genuinely shocked patern…

Eh. I definitely think they need to do a better job but I mean you can't just have unrestricted prostitution in a major city. What they need is an actual red-light district thats off the strip.

Look, dude. I'm just not with you on this. You're making up scenarios to try and make it seem like there's all these poor destitute guys compelled to buy sex in Vegas by powers outside their control, and there's just not. If you plan on visiting a prostitute on a Vegas trip, you plan for it. It should literally already be factored into your itinerary, booking, and everything. Edit: For the record, prostitutes decide what clients they see and dont see and also determine their rates based on how m…

I mean... yeah that's dumb for them to do when a google search and a drive takes them to a legal brothel. But yeah like 90% of the prostitution still happens in Vegas illegally cuz tourists are lazy and dumb, shocking lol Still it's about the same number of arrests for prostitutes and Johns each year. Just over 4k prostitutes arrested on average per year and just under 4k johns. So it's not putting the men at more risk and especially since legal prostitution is right nearby it's literally their …

Well yeah but it's banned by city ordinance. It's not illegal at a state level so it's more like a ticket. People just drive right outside the city and its right there.

Hey brother, I'm not going to claim to understand how it feels to be in your situation but I do get how hard it must be to feel like a part of your identity is based on a negative trait you can't control. I can only offer one piece of advice I've learned, allowing an outside factor about yourself, or a percieved shortcoming to become a core part of your own sense of who you are can lead you to internalizing a lot of negativity that can really affect your mental health and the way you interact wi…

Edit: I think youll do well as long as you're open to other people's perspectives and try to withhold judgement for as long as possible. ---‐-------------------------------------------------- Well, the fatherhood one was mainly based around helping me develop healthy parenting techniques with my son and to help avoid overcompensating for how abusive my own father was. It was also largely to help me through the coparenting situation with my ex and all the stuff she's doing to undercut my ability …

Well ideally it's about talking about problems you HAVE been dwelling on and getting an outside perspective to help you work through it. After a certain point its more about checking in and sharing how you've been successfully implementing the things you've learned. I usually only go to therapy for a few weeks at a time to help with a few major issues I've been facing, then I "graduate" more or less and go back to life without needing to go.

Yeah, for sure, that's been a big problem. I mean, hell, that's actually part of why I preferred female therapists for a good while. This might seem counterintuitive, but the men in the profession were actually more often ascribing things to "toxic masculinity," and it was super weird. The one I was seeing until recently was a man, and I was seeing him in particular because he specialized in fatherhood issues. Guy definitely was very insightful about unhealthy patterns of behaviors without ever …

Ummm... Nevada is a state. And prostitution is fully legal and regulated there. The only place it's banned is places like Las Vegas and Reno because they still want to appeal to families for tourism. Although this "only for selling it" part seems... well fucking dumb. At that point, it's literally just theater.

I'm not familiar with him at all. I'm over in Texas, I gave the article another go through, I still don't see anything SUPER bad in this particular article but I guess if he's a well known quantity in this sphere I can see how that adds another layer of context. I'm fresh in this community. I just joined the other day cuz I'm a single dad, going through a tough custody battle in a state that's pretty heavily weighted in the womans favor on these things. She's made false allegations, gotten me ar…

But what in the article is so egregious? Yeah, he uses a couple of buzzwords but the overall article doesn't imply all men's spaces are "toxic" or anything that I saw. Seriously, even how reactionary people are on here downvoting all my comments because I didn't just hop on the hate train and actually pointed out the post is framing this article in a way I don't particularly see? It's not exactly helping any men's rights movement to dogpile discussion. And no, I'm not saying you are a part of th…
/r/MensRights14/03/24 05:32 AM

Yeah? I mentioned it because a lot of people wouldn't bother actually reading the article and given the initial context of his post I was expecting it to be some radfem chick but it wasn't. The actual article itself doesn't seem terribly radfem to me but it's missing a lot of context that I think would have been helpful to know.

This is a really interesting one. Personally, I've never had trouble finding a male therapist, although until more recently, I preferred having a female one. But I looked up the straight year over year growth numbers for men and women that were linked in the article and it looks like the number of men entering the mental health field has been stagnant for damn near 70 years 🤔 It's weird that even with greater awareness regarding mental health that the number of men entering the field hasn't chan…

Ah. I'm not familiar with Australian politics. I'm over in Texas. I mean, I feel you, but this article doesn't seem to really exemplify what you're talking about. Or at least it's not completely littered with all the buzzwords I'm familiar with over in the States. It seemed rather directed towards this one particular school. But to be fair, it's a little misleading in the way it addresses the research because most studies find that any exclusionary space leads to more radicalism and negative att…

Was this in response to my comment? You're just deflecting from my question. What actually was the alleged incident? If you don't know, it's cool. Just say that, then.
/r/MensRights14/03/24 12:48 AM

The article never claimed what you're stating it did. It's discussing one particular boys school in Cranbrook? And it's written by a man. Is there a particular event that caused the investigation he's talking about btw? Because it states the head of the school chose to resign over whatever caused it.

What state is your case in? I'm on child support here in Texas, and ours isn't actually affected by whether she works or not. It's a fixed percent of your monthly income, per child. It's 20% for 1 and goes up by 5% for each additional child.

Eh... just take this with a grain of salt, but I'd get gaslit and manipulated into feeling like it was all my fault for feeling the ways I did. Mostly by my ex wife. For the most part I've had an easier time in general opening up to female friends than my guy friends until more recently. This page here is actually my first attempt to be in a majority male support space. But having your attempts to open up about feeling unhappy or used, turned on you to make you feel like the monster for feeling …
