I agree. Its actually worse, Asians who are discriminated in college admissions are really being held back by their own parents!! And Blacks who don't do well in education - parents again. In fact every issue with society today is caused by parents. /s

Most women and men prefer male bosses according to multiple surveys. It fairly common for female bosses to be promoted for diversity and not know the job. More than fairly common actually, it happens most of the time. Then they become intimidated by the competent men around them. Also women bosses become erratic once a month. Very common.

I tried to read thru the comments and they seem to say the what women always say to men: be authentic, don't pre-judge women, have empathy, be open to real relationships, its about more than just sex, etc. Every time this topic comes up the advice from women is the same: treats us with respect and kindness and be open. Freedom and security - Wrong: many more men are injured and killed than women. Here is the deal, you are very lucky you were not arrested, charged and it ended with the criminal record that affected you life and future jobs. It's not fair, but damn man, you are doing great compared to other men not so lucky. And remember she can always hit herself again and call other cops and you will be in jail. Count your blessings.
