A lot of this would just scare off a girl you just met. These seem like things to save for a second or third date

Cold approaching random women is not the way to start if you have only little experience with women. Start with something easier, like talking to women in social situations. It’s more socially acceptable so you’re more likely to have success that way. Later on you can work your way up to cold approaches if you want, but don’t expect to have as much success with them

Coed sports are a good option. They attract a young crowd in their 20s

Men praise female engineers, software developers, and gamers all the time. These are all stereotypically associated with men

Wow that’s a bold move approaching a random woman in a bar! How exactly did you meet this woman in a bar? Was she just chilling by herself and you went and introduced yourself to her? I use coed sports leagues to meet women, which is quite limiting as I’m only limited to the 2 or 3 single women who happen to be on my team for those 6 weeks.

Coed sports leagues are a good option. Most of the guys there are around your age.

Try smiling at them next time. It would make you way more approachable

How’d you meet her? I’m having a lot of trouble just meeting the right girl in the first place.

All she needs to do is a little eye contact and smile and there are very few straight men who wouldn’t approach her for a date

Tinder doesn’t work for most men and I wouldn’t feel comfortable approaching a woman in a bar. Women at a bar are busy hanging out with their friends. I would rather approach a woman when she’s not busy with something else. For example, if she’s shopping at a grocery store in a relaxed manner or casually strolling through a busy street. These scenarios would feel way less awkward than approaching a woman at a bar when she’s just trying to hang out with her friend group.

I don’t really have a point. I’m asking a question. Just trying to figure out scenarios to approach a woman where she wouldn’t feel extremely uncomfortable and bothered by the attention and feel the need to report me

In order to find out if they have similar interests as me, I would have to approach them first, right? Whether that means at the bar, the street, gym, grocery store, etc. However, I wouldn’t feel comfortable approaching a woman at the bar or at the gym. Women are at the bar to hang out with their friends. Women are at the gym to get a workout in. I would rather approach them somewhere where they don’t look like they’re busy with something else. For example, if she’s browsing through a grocery st…

So how do you suggest a man go about finding a date if approaching a woman is rude?

So how should a man go about finding a date then if approaching women is wrong?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
