She and you can do whatever you want if there are no orders in place. You need to file first.

Could she let it go once she knows you have evidence against her too?

You may be right but do not make the mistake of assuming you have won already. You can laugh about it once you have the final orders.

That's good advice. It is quite isolating though. I guess I will just have to go find new friends. You are right, there is no upside.

You can move if the other parent doesn't ask for a geo restriction. Check CA rules on that. Yes, changes to custody orders will be in a new state AFTER the child is a domicile of that state. The rules for domicile can vary for example, intexas it's 6 months.

Ask around to other divorced people (online and otherwise). I think joint custody is common in New York, like in most states. She is just trying to scare you. But "joint" does not always mean 50/50 time division.

What state are you in? If you go to trial, what will the court order?

I have been praying you get to see your daughter soon. No one deserves this. I am sorry.

Did you have any evidence like emails, text message sorry video anything to back up your testimony or at least back up parts of it? My lawyer has told me - if it's not documented don't expect the court to believe it because courts are use to everyone lying.

What was the poor argument that your lawyer made?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
