You're retarded. The difference between processors between ivy bridge (2012) and a 7700k (2017) is clockspeed, the difference isn't even that big. Once ivy bridge is bottlenecking the 7700k will most likely too. The vast majority of users are still on quad cores, then comes dual cores, I would be surprised if 10% of pc-users have 6 c and higher. If someone on ivy bridge moves over to 1440p the processor will be viable even longer.
