What is the most messed up way you found out your partner was cheating on you?Something very similar happened to me recently. We were just about to sign a lease together but fortunately I was able to get out of it. I'm still in shock because I would never even think of doing something like that. You know those creeps who harass women online by sending them messages and dick pics? I can't believe he turned out to be one of them. I've just been feeling so sick about this whole thing. If you need someone to vent to who will understand, I'm here. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 07/03/22 04:11 AM
Therapy lines that are used for manipulationIn my experience, it's always a trap to tell them that you're insecure about something they did. That's all they need to push all the blame on you, and every time they do something you're uncomfortable with, it's always your own fault for being insecure and "having low self esteem". I once basically caught my ex cheating but somehow he managed to convince me that it was all in my head and I'm being too controlling about who he can be friends with by being insecure. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/02/22 09:35 PM
Am I the only one who's starting to believe I'll never be loved?Wow I was just reading your other comments and are you me? Because this exactly describes me as well. I don't know how to think about the whether there are enough men who are even capable of loving someone. For me, whenever I've loved someone, I've been genuine about it and I've never stopped putting in effort into doing things for them. But somehow, no man has been capable of doing the same for me. I don't understand it, because, to me, it seems such an easy and obvious thing to do and if I can… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/02/22 05:50 PM
Am I the only one who's starting to believe I'll never be loved? You're not the only one. This is exactly how I've been feeling recently and it's worse because I don't have any family ties either. I'm in my late 20s and I know it's not true but it feels like I'm also getting too old too fast. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/02/22 05:42 PM
It is up to MEN to prove they are feminists, NOT womenMen calling themselves feminists has always given me an uncomfortable feeling, even if they mean well. I can't quite put it in words but it feels a lot like "appropriation". A little bit like, "The anger towards our mistreatment belongs to us, you have no right to show your anger about it and if you want to show an emotion, it should be shame". I don't know if that is the right way to think about it, but do any of you relate to that feeling? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/02/22 02:04 AM
Don't be with man who is squeamish about women bodySeeing a lot of comments about men being grossed out by periods, but I just want to add that please also be wary of men who are overly empathetic about periods. A man I dated would always turn into a completely different, extra kind and loving person whenever I was on my period. But he was so generous that he'd do the same for his other female friends too 😐. He'd even keep track of all of their cycles. And the same man would give 0 shits whenever I was sick with anything else. Fortunately, our r… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/02/22 01:35 AM
The Guide to Being Approved (ie, Getting a Flair)I am new to reddit and I only recently joined for FDS. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but what happens to all our comments from before we get a flair? Do they become visible once we are approved? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 25/02/22 07:15 AM
