My general rule at work is, just be respectful. I’ve made the mistake in the past of matching my environment and the second somebody has an issue with you you have given them stuff to use against you. You can literally be in a room full of people yelling the F word and then get reported to HR and fired for saying it yourself. It doesn’t matter that everyone else is saying it, what matters is someone was offended when YOU said it.

Sorry that happened but looks like you dodged a bullet. I drive a Honda Civic and since I’ve had that car I’ve caught three different girls keying it or about to do some sort of damage to it because it looks exactly like their friends ex-boyfriend‘s car or their ex-boyfriend‘s car and they thought it was his.

Horrible. Hopefully they feel the full extent of the law on this and do not get off easy because they’re gay women.

Yeah I remember seeing that. When I had testicular cancer they gave me that option because we weren’t sure what was going to happen. Idid not end up needing to do it. Spoke with a guy who had some problems with it. Apparently some errors occurred and the place he had his stuff stored may have accidentally given it to someone else by mistake. It ended up being OK in his case, but, the idea that that could happen is pretty alarming.

Not sure if this has been covered… was putting some baby batter away for possible future use an option? Glad you have been feeling better.

She shouldn’t be telling you that. Report her and get a new therapist.

It is. I’m not the biggest guy, but I work out regularly and eat right so I think I look good for your average dude. I was at the gym and I was wearing a loser top that you could see a lot of my body in. A very overweight woman who was stuffed into some spandex made the comment, “that guy is too small I need a man who has muscle.” I had my AirPods in, but turned off so I’m guessing she thought I couldn’t hear her.

Why yes, thanks for asking. https://archive.org/details/big-boy-barbecue-book https://archive.org/details/ice-cream-by-mabel-gar-hoffman Those are two I liked a lot. If you click on my username in the IA you should be able to get to the place that has all my other uploads. I have more than just cookbooks in there. Thanks for your interest :-)

I scan old, or unusual cookbooks and put them up on the Internet archive for free use. So technically I guess I collect cookbooks.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I probably didn’t say it very eloquently. The post made it sound like gaming prevented him from doing anything else in his life. I was trying to say he’s obviously able to balance that Because he is a successful actor and obviously has a body that requires a lot of time at the gym.
/r/MensRights18/12/22 06:35 AM

So he’s addicted to gaming and this makes it sound like it takes over his life, yet somehow he is still able to be a successful actor and workout enough to have the body he has? It doesn’t sound like his gaming “addiction” is impacting his life that badly. Edit for clarity.

I was trying to become a cop last year in the US. I had tried marijuana the year before I applied and was facing a two-year disqualification. I applied with departments out of state because they have different rules for that sort of thing. I did an agility test in another state which was more like a short obstacle course that had to be done in two minutes or less. I am in pretty good shape but went five seconds over. Out of 15 of us, 14 men, 1 woman) 2 people passed. They gave us each two tries …

I am sure you do have beautiful eyes. The two compliments I seem to get the most are about my eyes and my calf muscles. I never know how to react when I get them though.

I feel like I get some good encouragement and compliments at the gym. There’s a lot of guys that I see there that I have very casual encounters with and we’ve made it a habit to encourage each other and tell each other where we’re seeing good progress. That’s one thing that the gym/bodybuilding culture has given me. You know, other than body dysmorphia and a borderline eating disorder. (last part is a joke… kinda)

kind of makes me sad to hear that man. I’m sure that there are many great qualities that you possess that are complement worthy.

I read some of the comments and somebody said men don’t get compliments. I started trying to complement guys that I interacted with, friends or maybe guys I talked to at the gym. It’s always interesting how they react. Like if I tell a guy at the gym that his workouts are really showing, or that I admire his dedication. Really seems to make a difference. Months later I had a guy tell me that he still thinks about a complaint I gave him.

There’s tons of examples like this unfortunately. Amy Schumer admitting to sexually assaulting two men, Lena Dunham talking about investigating her little sister‘s genitals and paying her to French kiss her when they were kids. You never see the backlash that you would hope to with things like this.

I’m honestly not surprised. I don’t think I know of anybody that would describe her as mentally OK. That was even before this statement. Also, doesn’t she have a son?

Let me guess, she wears it out in public and screams at any man who’s trying read the wordy sentence on her shirt, then goes online and complains about how everyone’s checking her out and she can’t even wear a baggy unflattering shirt without guys eye fucking her. And if a guy somehow manages to read all that without getting her attention, and says, “hey I like your shirt,” she replies snidely with, “I have a boyfriend”.

I actually went to one of the hetero parties and it was interesting, all of the women were very much the more dominant figures there. In fact there was a guy who tried to get dominant with someone and he was asked to leave.

Yeah, I’ve heard about that too. I don’t mind women at gay bars or gay clubs, as long as they are cool, but so many times I’ve seen them cross boundaries that they shouldn’t. I was at a karaoke night at a gay bar once and I lost a bet and had to go up and do karaoke in my underwear but because of the rules at the bar I couldn’t so a guy gave me his button up shirt to wear that was pretty long and hid everything. A girl got up on stage with me and started trying to grind on me, she ended up pulli…

A friend of mine is really into the leather kink scene. He’s part of a group that hosts monthly parties. They have a men’s group, a mixed group, and a women’s group. The men’s group as you can imagine is mainly attracts gay men, and more often than not it basically becomes a sex party from what I’ve been told. My friend has been bothered lately because heterosexual women have started insisting they be allowed to come to the gay men’s group. Reason being, they want to enjoy the kink scene and not…

Friend of mine almost had this happen to him but, he had had a vasectomy years before meeting the girl that tried this on him. He had mentioned it because they both agreed that they didn’t want children and he told her that he had it taken care of but didn’t specifically say vasectomy. I guess that slipped her mind. Anyway, she ended up a single mother with some hook ups kid. The sad thing is is that he said that if he knew she wanted children that badly and was open and honest with him he would…

I can definitely understand the feeling of hopelessness that can come and visit and stay too long. You’ve got a look at it like this, at least this is what gets me through sometimes. There’s always going to be somebody disapproving of something I enjoy or something that I like that makes me who I am. you’ve got to learn to shut out those voices and surround yourself with people who love and respect you for you. Life is pretty uncomfortable and unbearable when we don’t have our support system. I …

In the first part of this article she is assuming a lot. Edit: OK, she assumes a lot throughout the entire article. I guess if another guy holds a door open for me I should assume that he’s intentionally being aggressive towards me and asserting his dominance by allowing me permission to enter a domain he just exited. That’s definitely an attitude that will lead me through a happy life.

I liked the ones with Milla Jovovich, but I didn’t know much about the video game prior to seeing those. I thought it was a decent film but it had it issues.

The girls were the most obnoxious, annoying, entitled, self-centered, and stupid characters I have ever seen portrayed in a movie or series. It’s full of woke nonsense that comes across as being forced. To quote comic book news: “The show doesn’t star any white dudes; (which isn’t something I cared about all that much) it features two woke teen girls that kick all kinds of ass and talk shit about the all-white neighborhoods and how the white boys are stupid; the girls are vegan, pro-animal right…

I have found people always find a way to rationalize their beliefs. I have had conversations where I had hard evidence that I had multiple citations for and was still told that I was wrong and misguided. If you are not talking with people who are already willing to have a meaningful conversation, discuss ideas and entertain the notion that they might be wrong there’s not really way to force that. But if you insist on trying I would try to find places that have detailed statistics that back up th…

So, what happens when a women decides to use the gender neutral changing area and a man “bursts in”?

OK. It’s more than likely pretty different depending on where you are. One thing I do know is that for a lot of years in the United States testicular implants were illegal and not FDA approved because there were so many bad ones on the market. There’s currently one FDA approved company in the United States. Coloplast.

And to be fair, a lot of insurance will cover testicular implants after cancer however, it is a little less common, my insurance refused to cover it, and a lot of men are not even offered the option. My oncologist told me that he doesn’t bring it up very often just because he knows it’s possible the insurance may not cover it and then the guy is left with a huge bill.

I got into it with a girl who was trying to argue that when boys hit puberty they should be required to get vasectomies. She was trying to claim that they are reversible and that it’s all covered by insurance. She did not want to listen to me when I told her that a vasectomy is considered a permanent means of birth control and that they are not always successfully reversed. I also pointed out that men who have had vasectomies leave less DNA evidence behind in rape cases. She didn’t like hearing …

I hate that when I had testicular cancer I had to fight my insurance to try to get a prosthetic and ultimately ended up failing as it was cosmetic. But if I had had breast cancer and had a mastectomy they would’ve been tripping over themselves to get me implants. Yeah, men could very easily make a list of their own.

Yeah, that would frustrate me too. I grew up with this. My mom and dad divorced and my sister had been sexually abused when she was younger so pretty much all I heard growing up was how horrible men were. (FYI, my dad really wasn’t that bad, my mom just had to create that narrative to validate everything she had done.) It made me really try to adopt more feminine traits and try to understand things as a woman would. I found myself in a similar situation with friends. They would talk about toxic …

Not to rant here, but I seriously don’t understand some people. My friends wife loves to play this game with him where she says she knows better than him on everything and very frequently ignores his feelings on thing because she knows better. He was talking about getting Lasik because he’s a police officer and contacts get dry and itchy and he can’t really wear glasses. I remember reading a AITA In which a man explains that his wife wanted another child and he didn’t and then she gets pregnant with what she calls a “miracle baby” he discovers that she had been tampering with the condoms and had stopped taking the pill which she admitted to and told him that she just knew he would love the baby and it would be OK. I think it ended with him saying he knows that he’s going to love his kid, but he can’t trust his wife anymore and was filing for divorce. Amazingly h…
