Also, if you're in University in the US check to see if your college health center offers these vaccines and ask if they have any fee waivers. I got mine and didn't have to pay anything, I just had to fill out a few forms. It's like 3 shots over the course of like 6 months if I remember correctly.

You make a good point here. I think self-awareness is the most important thing when it comes to video games. It's easy to lie to yourself about the impact it has on you. I was big on video games growing up, and spent countless hours on them like a lot of kids my age. My freshman year of college I brought my console with me. I would spend any free time playing. GTA V came out, and I swear I spent about 4 days straight, playing, skipping classes and even meals. Luckily I somehow ended up in a gr…

I've always been familiar with the idea of tithing as it pertains to church and income, but never in the altruistic sense as it pertains to time. I've struggled with planning how to split my time with personal endeavors vs. helping family, community, etc. I think I will give this a try. Thanks for sharing

Being friends with a girl and being friends with another guy are two different worlds. I always fucked this up until I realized you cannot carry the same expectations between the two. I think intergender friendships are a net positive if you approach them with the right mindset: She is not your 'bro' She is not there for you to spill your guts to You are not her emotional tampon She has to provide some sort of value (i.e. she's funny, brings her friends around, pays for drinks/ubers, etc.) W…

Men aren't expected to reach their prime until mid 30s early 40s, so don't be down. You've already taken a significant step forward in realizing you've wasted time. Now make a plan on how you want to change, and don't be too hard on yourself, you've got plenty of time!

Honestly I dont think most women even reflect on their behavior unless their situation ends up for the worse. Then they just look at themselves like a victim every, single, time. And it's why the cycle with these types of women always continue

Slackers operating in a participation-prize culture might imagine they have frame, but it's an illusion; it won't survive trial by fire, and they'll spend life terrified they're going to be exposed as frauds. The nuance here is spot on, and it's what I've felt but failed to be able to communicate properly. Nice post

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
