What specific sub is best for this

Give an example of what you would ask

These kinds of questions can be those ice breakers. “What do you like to do for fun?” “I really like to dance.” “What’s the craziest dance move you can do?” or “what’s the best song you’ve danced to?” This is if they’re really into you, they’re enthusiastic about answering anything. If not, it does fall kinda flat.

It’d work best on someone who’s interested in you and what you’re saying from the start. It won’t really work on someone who isn’t, but why would you go out with someone like that anyway

To add to Dave’s answer, ask her a question she’d enjoy answering. Like “what do you like to do for fun?”, “where’d you grow up?”, “what’s the craziest story you have?”

No, you have to go up and talk to her. Just relax and try to make the conversation fun and interesting. Joke around and ask her questions that she would enjoy answering. It’s supposed to be fun and playful, not serious. When you think of it that way, it takes a lot of the pressure off.

You can ask what she likes to do for fun, what her passions are or why she loves them so much. A good one I saw a while ago is asking them what their favorite childhood memory was. Have fun with it and try to get her to talk about herself by asking questions she would enjoy answering.

Saving this post. Thanks for the perspective man, helped a bit.

You just have to get out of your own head in those instances man. Just go up and do it. Do what Steve O does when he’s about to do a stupid stunt. Count down from 3,2,1 and never back out of it.

“You know you can talk to me about anything right?” “Lol no I can’t. Good try though.”

Just think about asking questions that she would like answering. If she does like you, she’ll do most of the talking. Then you can supplement the conversation here and there with jokes or fun things about yourself.

Interesting. Porn isn’t a problem for me if you can believe it. I kind of just forget it exists a lot of the time.

What would you say about guys who aren’t self loathing and who don’t have a porn addiction but are in a similar situation?

That’s great man. That really is what it takes to solve this issue so many guys have. I’m changing as well. Last night I went out to the bars, made out with someone and got a few numbers. Never really kissed a girl before last night.

I like this. The only thing I’d change is setting a definite date if the interest and chemistry is there.

I never understood why you’d buy a stranger a drink. It also kind of makes a bad first impression when the first thing you say to someone is asking them to buy you something. You can of course make a joke about it or play it off, but still.

Notable quotes include: “The terms masculine and feminine are so antiquated” and “Your dictum…” blah blah nerd shit. It’s like one of those people who think everyone likes them when in reality all people do is talk shit about you behind your back.

This one dude was condescending for no reason, spoke like he was writing a dissertation when we’re on fucking Reddit, and was generally one of those assholes who always need the last word. When I tried to get him to read the material from a book I read, he was all “I don’t need to, my experiences and knowledge are above all”. Fucking know it all. Best part is it seems to be all he does, guys on Reddit for hours everyday just on that sub. He liked to say, “unlike y’all lonely mfs, I have someone …

Something that I learned that was interesting was that the body responds to fear and excitement in the same ways. You start breathing faster, your heart rate increases, butterflies in your stomach, etc. So this means that you can turn that fear and frame it into excitement. Get excited about talking to them! Get excited about making progress and getting to where you want to be. It feels really good when you do, even if you aren’t successful in that particular instance. At a party, there’s litera…

So a question for you: where do you go to meet women? I live in an area that is boring af with nothing to do

Sounds dope. I’d be focusing on that date with someone who actually wants to be with you man.

It happens sometimes, don’t get too attached right off the bat. This will help lessen that annoyed feeling. Women do this so they can end the interaction relatively peacefully and hope you get the hint when they don’t answer. Just give it time and go on about your life. Do things that make you happy. If she responds, great. If not, no sweat. Give your gifts to the world and focus on the people who will appreciate them.

Yeah, for sure. It’s not meant be taken word for word. But a lot of the shit he says makes a lot of sense and makes it a lot easier on you.

I have a question if you don’t mind me asking. When you had a conversation with them, did they try to be humorous? Also, did they ask you questions about yourself and keep the interaction lighthearted?

I had a problem with the whole smiling thing. Think I fixed it now. And that whole looking them in the eyes thing is true. It gives you a feeling of power, which is great.

Similar to “I have a boyfriend”. Somewhat annoying to hear after a while but it is what it is.

Talk for no more than 10 minutes and say, “I’ve got to run but I’d like to continue this conversation. What’s your phone number?”, while looking down at your phone as if ready to type it. Or give her your phone. You gave away too much and the mystery.

Thanks. I learned about this concept, among many others, through a book about dating and relationships I’ve been consuming heavily since around May/June. It’s got great advice and is probably what I’ve been missing, but either there’s no place to put it in practice or when there is, I don’t do it. Would you mind having a conversation about these concepts? I talked to a woman a while ago about it and was interested albeit frustrated about what’s in the book. She said it could work I’m not trying …

So an issue I’m having with this is that we’ll share eye contact, sometimes prolonged and sometimes not. I can maintain it just fine, my issue is with smiling. I can’t seem to find it in me to smile, or when I do it doesn’t feel genuine. Any tips for this?

Thanks man. I’m doing this because while I do want to get the masters which will make it easier to make more money, I also want to experience college again normally, even if for a while. I was genuinely having a good time there. Also important, I’ve been learning about where I can do better with women and feel like success is a lot more achievable now. Given the chance, I would not waste it. Just need to get a 151 quant score or better on the GRE.

I had the opportunity for a bit but Covid ruined half of it. Still a little tilted about it but going to go back for my masters

Ask about an event she talked about on the last date but couldn’t get into because it happened after you met up. Ask about family, goals, or just make up silly questions to get a laugh out of her.

I saw in a previous comment of yours that you want to flirt with and seduce men. You’ll be alright, men usually love it when women come up to them. Just ask questions that they would enjoy answering and break the touch barrier, it usually doesn’t take much. Abort if the situation seems sleezey tho. A lot of it is due to the negative attention or lack of attention or affection men receive. We’ll eventually get tired of it and look for a way to fix it, but may fall into traps in doing so.

I think a group I was in on FB was a scam. It was active for a bit. Bro legit asked for $1500 for advice. After I turned it down I noticed the group went dark. There hasn’t been a new post for like 5 months now. Pretty sure he did manage to sucker some people and just bounced.
