There are many reasons girls go for jerks. Asshole guys tend to have high confidence and high charisma. They are generally attractive too, and a bit wild and fun. Also, they carry that unattainable air about them that gives off the thrill of the chase. Age old "people want what they can't have" kinda thing. Sometimes the fact that they're an asshole isn't always directly apparent and women get duped, finding out later we were blinded by lust thinking it was love. Taking time to get to know someo…

I just read the updated part...oof. It's over and she messed up big time trying to rush things (not like it wasn't already apparent to her that it was over). She robbed him of his pride and masculinity to all of his peers. Perhaps it was a real situation after all. Yikes Again, I'd simply ask anyone to reverse genders and see how that would change things. Some would say this is nothing, others would say ofc it's over ffs. I don't think there's really getting over something like that tho.

I apologise for writing so much again lol She's fucked imo. She started out on a blatant lie knowing that if he asked about it that it meant the number probably mattered to him. She felt the truth could be a possible deal breaker. She could've come clean at any point in the 12 years they'd been together, which may have not mattered by that point in their relationship. He found out in the worst possible way, and I'm sure he felt completely cucked and emasculated and had it rubbed in his face the …

Thank you. I actually really liked how it all went as well. People actually having a discussion and wanting things to be fair for everyone. We all need more of this happening

It's these echo chambers that are the real problem, from battle of the sexes to politics. I try to find sources on both sides because the middle ground is where you'll find reason and truth. I was a little nervous to respond as a female in this group, but everyone have been nice about listening and understanding. You guys aren't bad guys for standing up against women who want to control and use you, just as women stand up to men who use them. Don't let anyone tell you you're not allowed to have …

For every single baby momma there's a single baby daddy out there too. There is still a big gap between the number of single dads vs moms with full custody, but even this is becoming more fair. There are lawyers out there specifically for men to try and make sure they get custody (if that's what they want). Single dads usually don't feel so obligated to constantly talk about it like a lot of single moms. I have never once seen a guy's dating profile state anything like single moms do (it would b…

What about the men who leave their loyal wives for younger women, which is usually called a "midlife crisis." But pointing out the double standards and hypocrisy needs to happen. How else will we learn to change? It's why I stick around here. Things have been pointed out to me from a perspective I would never see on my own because I'm not a guy. I have honestly reevaluated several things I use to think were to how it should actually be fair. One I'm terribly embarrassed about is that in a dating…

I'm a female. I am subbed here and other places like this (including that female dating strategies one). This is a burn account I made for an askreddit thing I didn't want getting back to me. I originally joined this sub and the others for meme reasons and stayed because I think it's important to know how the other side thinks and feels. And comparing the polar opposites, I dunno, I just like trying to figure things out. Plus it's eye-opening and I'm glad you guys have groups like this to vent v…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
