They kicked Alina out for being racist. Also they kicked BGL for being racist. But yet all of these abusive men and women somehow get a pass for perpetrating DV on live TV. I'm fine with TLC deplatforming racists, but if they deplatform racists, they should also take a stand and deplatform abusers. It took them so long to deplatform Jeoffrey.

"Images of child pornography are not protected under First Amendment rights, and are illegal contraband under federal law. Section 2256 of Title 18, United States Code, defines child pornography as any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor (someone under 18 years of age). Visual depictions include photographs, videos, digital or computer generated images indistinguishable from an actual minor, and images created, adapted, or modified, but appear to depict an identifiabl…

I'm in the US, but maybe the original poster isn't. Faked child porn (more accurately characterized as depictions of child sexual abuse. These are images of crime scenes) is already illegal in the US. This is incredibly important because it means that LE does not need to prove that there was an actual child in the imagery. This is not the case in many European countries where deepfakes of child sexual abuse are legal. Second, these laws allow LE to trap men looking for child abuse content using …

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if this is a woman. She said she couldnt orgasm by penetration alone, which many women can't so nbd. I think she just outed herself as having a really bad boyfriend in bed that doesn't do anything for her, more than anything else.

From OP, is he a doctor also trying to date other doctors? As a medical student, I think a lot of female MD/DOs or MD/DO trainees have high expectations for men, and won't go for this kind of stuff. If he's a physician making good money, I expect to go on a nice date. Like, I do have lower standards (money-wise) if I go out with another medical student...because loans, I get it. But if he has the money, it looks stingy to refuse to go to a restaurant.

I personally do not usually block for safety reasons. Say I go on a date/many dates and then the guy is not a good fit. I will make it clear that it is over through a simple text. Typically they stop responding. If this happens, I keep them unblocked. I want to see if they text me or continue to, so that I can have a warning of any stalking behaviors.

I don't buy that men have worse fine motor skills than women. This seems like manufactured incompetence to me. I'm in med school, and I know a lot of male surgeons that do intricate surgeries. I know many male musicians that have excellent fine motor control. I would encourage you to not lower the standards for men and buy into manufactured incompetence.

I read the whole article and I wish I didn't. Fundamental contradiction: if the wife was truly so much more preferable to the porn (as he claims in the article), then maybe giving up the porn wouldn't be a big deal.

I was a victim of CSA. I have never ever had these 'rape fantasies' In fact, they are beyond repulsive to me. Do other SA survivors feel similarly? I secretly wonder if the whole 'SA survivors use consensual non consent to heal their trauma' tagline is just mostly women being manipulated into this being a way to process with their trauma. It is just so far out of my comfort zone to even imagine that anyone would WANT to replicate a rape that they experienced. I didn't even know this whole thing …

I'll change my last name. I just don't like my last name rn. But I will only do it if this man has a cool/decent sounding last name. If its something bad, I want to make up a new last name that we both share. For me, its important for me to share my last name with my children.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Being sexually aroused to your partner's pain or degradation is always a red flag. OP, I am so sorry that happened to you. He is so so far out of line. It's like men are reaching new lows in their sexual fetishes. I can't imagine how offended/scared you are, because my second hand offense is already a lot. HOW DARE HE.

I think theres also the concept that shane feels bad that Hannah might feel stressed about taking care of him. It would be healthy for them to both acknowledge these feelings, but it seems that they prioritize Shane's feelings and invalidate even the potential that Hannah might feel burnout. Its fundamentally unfair that Shane is in the position that he is in, but he also needs to understand that in a relationship, his position will put others in hardship, and their hardships are real too. Its h…

The first and second thing- I didn't know about either. Ultimately, none of us really know from the outside whether a man is HV. We cant see what they do inside the home. I do think it is unfair to only expect the spouse to be a carer, and if that is a tension in the relationship, I see it as an issue. If its just their setup. I dont see a problem. We really dont know what is truly going on. Speaking as someone who sees OTs help quads (Im not an OT), I think charisma has excellent form in terms …

I also think there's something weird idealizing this relationship 'as the perfect relationship' for just a random woman. The vast majority of women, myself included, could never be attracted to Shane. Also, even if Shane had the perfect personality, I don't think we need to take an approach for women that we have to settle for men that we aren't attracted to, to find a man that treats us well. To them specifically, if Hannah is legitimately attracted to Shane, which since she says she is, I beli…

I think shane is LV. I think Hannah is the most massive pick me. I think there have been times when he sort of degrades Hannah, but I don't really watch him so I can't remember when I saw it, but I saw it and then stopped watching their channel. I don't say that because of his disability- I say it because of his personality and how he acts so entitled for Hannah to care for him. I think in terms of interabled relationships, I personally far prefer roll with cole and charisma. Cole, a C4/5 quad i…

Also another point is that data seems to show that a large portion these self ascribed 'non offending MAPs' by their own admission have watched CSAM at some point. Many in this community don't believe watching CSAM hurts kids. I just dont buy that there is some large community of pedos that dont offend, and also dont watch CSAM.

If your budget is lower (I'm a student, so I need to stay cheap), I'd recommend thredup. I buy so much from there. My tip is to wear fancy materials, because that is what looks expensive. I especially love silk, but it isn't always the most practical. Real leather is good too. I couldn't afford these things unless I bought second hand. Also, make sure you only select for clothes that are new with tags or like new condition. PSA, I have ordered things from them that were in bad condition, but for…

I also haven't received dick picks before. I think it is a lot of who you swipe on in profiles too. IDK (not that I am blaming women for receiving them, but I've been pretty specific on who I swipe on in the past) Unless it was a delivery guy. But he was like 60 and found me through a SM profile.

Yes. this makes me mad. It really depends on the scenario, but in a lot of cases, no. Like I can't stand men that don't even bother to have a basic understanding of how our bodies works. Like, don't mansplain breastfeeding to a breastfeeding woman. It's not like they cant find the information. It's an unwillingness to. btw red flag: men that don't have a basic understanding or compassion for your period. IMO, every heterosexual man should know that periods come from the lining of the uterus. Stu…

I first got mad when he DIDN'T LEAVE THE PARTY TO GO WITH HIS WIFE TO THE BIOPSY APPOINTMENT. Turns out that was only the tip of the iceberg. Also that woman who reached out to the wife in this story is the goat. As women, we need to do better supporting other women.

Hey, also point for you: As a 20yo dont set your age range to 35. Just like the creepy uncle, you are filtering for those predatory old men who also set their age range to 20. for reference: I'm 23 and I think my max age range used to be 26 or 27.

“You didn’t strike me as the type of girl to wear purple nail polish” --yes, in that its a comment meant to cultivate insecurity in you based on who you are “You’re not like other girls” --eww, you're not a girl, you're a woman. When a dude says this to me, I ask them what they mean by that. I don't let go. Ask them. When telling that I’m going to start wearing contacts “Nooo you’re taking away my fetish. You look really good in glasses. You’ll have to keep a pair to wear just for me.” -um very …

I think everyone is different, but for me, I love yellow gold, so I know that I would want something like that. My parent's wedding rings are gold, so I want to carry that through with me. I also love gold against my skin. I also haven't ring shopped so I would want to do some amount together, but I do like the idea of him picking out the final ring, so there is a little surprise (but like a good surprise, in that he knows I'll love it) I also personally love the idea of combining some family he…

I totally agree. I'm a physicist, and now I'm in medical school. Maybe some men are scared away from me, but I always think: their loss, not mine. You wouldn't want to date these men anyway. It slims up the pool for you.

I agree, but also in this specific scenario, if OP does at some point want to have children, I do worry that the man is getting a vasectomy because he wants to remain childfree permanently, and is being wishy washy with his GF to string her along.

I mean they generally are reversible (>95%) if you reverse within 10yrs. But, you should be aware that vasectomy reversal is rarely covered by insurance, so it could easily cost 10-15k to reverse it. Just beware. If having children is something you want in even the distant future, I would make sure that he is also on the same page. In my experience, men who get vasectomies, generally want to never have children, at the time they get the operation. I would just make sure that if you both plan for…

I was talking to this guy I met on tinder, and he was SUPER into dave portnoy, and I didn't know who that was, so I looked him up. Everything about him and barstool is so degrading to women. I talked with my friends, and just ghosted a few days later. IMO liking barstool or Dave portnoy is something to be skeptical of

Wow, I am shocked. US MD schools have very high graduation rates. And they will do SO much to help keep you in school. They are incredibly accommodating (and I'm speaking as someone who had a major crisis in my first year). If their attrition rate is too high, they will risk losing their accreditation. And also, there is this very high expectation to graduate because they are already so selective with who gets in. So this is honestly pretty shocking that he would drop out for some reason related…

idk about you, but I see a lot of sex therapists putting the blame on the woman for having the problem with porn. As in its her fault that she is controlling and won't accept this natural part of the man.

This def sounds like a red flag to me, as a MD student. Is he an IMG MD, because if he is a US MD, I am very surprised. Maybe like one student finishes their MD and goes to consulting (and doesn't do a residency), but going from MD to an unrelated PhD, to then a PsyD...this is totally a red flag. If he didn't go to corporate consulting, the only things I can think of is something really bad, like some sort of malpractice/sexual harassment thing that was so bad, that he couldn't go to residency (…

I used to volunteer at a DV shelter. The resources were quite limited, so I do not think they had this protocol at the place I volunteered at. non-fatal strangulation is one of the best predictors of homicide in DV. So, if someone mentioned strangulation, the shelter took that seriously.

Excatly-I don't watch porn. I hold myself to the same standard as the men that I date. Acting that I have to accept a man's porn habit 'because he's a man' is misogynistic.
