Recently had one come out of the woodwork after 15 years. FIFTEEN YEARS. asked me three times if I wanted a relationship after being chatty on messenger for two weeks. Because the first two "no's" weren't enough? he's been radio silent since. I'm not a fucking placeholder and I'm a lot smarter than I was at 18 years old. The irony is that he dumped me back in the day and I was such a broken pick-me I tried to convince him to take me back for a month. Ick.

I really think a lot of men don't see us as actual people with wants, desires and ambitions of our own. They see us as objects with no thought or autonomy.

Strong agree. I've been single since summer 2019 but the extra money is worth it. I just spent $260 on concert tickets for my best friend and I to attend a show in 2022.
