It doesn't matter. Open any girl who makes eye contact with you who you're attracted to. I don't do it (certainly not at the gym) but that should be your goal.

Bloomingdales change room. Middle of the road (dared a girl she wouldn't have the guts to go down on me in the middle of the street). Friend's front stoop.

Never apologize for your intentions. "Yes... with women I find incredibly gorgeous. I can't help myself".

You overdid it with the persistence in the end there. First text with no response, don't call and leave voicemail. She has the text. When she cancels, just say "no problem" and leave it at that. Don't try to set up another date immediately, shows you're more invested than she is. Comes off needy, turn off. Ideally if she cancels she should reschedule, but obviously that doesn't always happen. Same thing applies to your other interactions. If you ask if she wants to do something and she doesn't r…

I use it exclusively in the day, not at night.

It works great if you carry it off with confidence. As mentioned, the words themselves are irrelevant. But the message of stating your intentions immediately is attractive and refreshing, in my opinion. It's also better for you, as you waste less time with indirect approaches, calibrating, building attraction etc. and spending 20 minutes in a set that is going nowhere. If she's not interested you'll know in 30 seconds.

Lol. Most of pick up game is cringe worthy. But what works works. I've said shit that is literally so over the top and terribly douchey, that I almost hate myself for saying it, but it works. After using that opener for several weeks I listened to a podcast from Love Systems (the dudes who published Magic Bullets) on direct game, and one of them said that was his go-to line almost word for word. I find saying that far less "chodey" than indirect openers about fake ex-girlfriends that are trying …

Two things: You are not your mind. This is from the first chapter of "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. Disclaimer: the only chapter I've read, no patience for spiritual shit. But, the reality is your mind isn't you. You are a being, and your mind is something separate from you as a being. Most people think they are their mind. So, start thinking of your brain as not you, and things your brain says as just stupid shit that can be ignored. Your brain has a defence mechanism to avoid things like…

I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with complimenting a girl. Anything you read on direct game will support this. What's important is the intention behind the compliment. Don't say it with the expectation that it will get you a reaction. And make sure you qualify her for something other than her looks after the compliment, learn more about her and verify she's a person you'd like to know. Making your intentions known immediately is very good at generating attraction quickly, because…

Chick on OkC after a couple messages exchanged says "do you have fb? We should talk more." And gives me her name to find her on it. I feel friending girls on fb doesn't really help me, removes all the mystery. Any way to respond to turn that into something better? Seems a date might be premature as we've exchanged 2 messages only.

Initially, yes, when reading really successful field reports I got depressed and thought "I could never do that". It was so far removed from where I was that it seemed inconceivable. However, since then I've went out with a number of guys from seddit. I've seen them in action, they are of a very diverse skill levels. Some are great, some are just starting out. However, they are all trying. And most of them are normal dudes. There's absolutely nothing special or unique about them that's different…

Thanks for the AMA. Anything in SF? I'd be interested in doing a program, but find the $3K price tag most seem to carry excessive. Could also come to LA if you guys can hook up a deal!

You sound young. Same as any other young people party. Drink, talk, drink, flirt, tease, touch, drink, grab her hand, "let's go for a walk", fuck.

I'm in my late 20s. When I was your age I was insecure about my looks (to let you in on a secret, all teenagers are). My father used to tell me "when you're older you're going to look back at photos of yourself at this age and not believe how handsome you were". It never sunk in unfortunately, and he was right. I just saw a picture of myself at 19 and I looked amazing. And I spent all those years thinking I was ugly. I'm still handsome, but fuck I miss that head of hair. Trust me, don't make tha…

My sis is 23. I'm 28. She wings me all the time. Works great. However sometimes she tries too hard, which makes you look lame and like you can't pick up on your own, so make sure she keeps it light.

Haha not trying to be a dick, but talent is very sexy to women, in virtually anything. Something else is off in your interaction.

Probably better to escalate on the couch rather than trying to get her to move to the bedroom before anything has happened. Should have joined her on the couch before she fell asleep.

Tell me about yourself. Edit: Since you don't actually go direct, don't use this. Was predicated on you opening direct.

There are some suicide/depression subreddits you should reach out to in this circumstance. Happy to talk to you if you need it bud, though I'd look for someone more experienced.

I don't really get why people think this is a solid post. It's a cliff notes for a bunch of shit that's been posted here numerous times, from someone with zero field experience who has never had to apply any of it. Ultimate armchair quarterback post, and doesn't contain a single new insight. I could write an amazing post today with my interpretations and theories on pick up that have come from reading this subreddit, but I don't because I haven't gained enough field experience to add any unique …

Nothing wrong with learning about the subject for a girl. That's a big part of "How to Win Friends and Influence People". Go read some articles, it'll make for good conversation.

Oneitis doesn't refer to liking one girl more than another, it refers to thinking that one girl is the only girl in the world for you.

Lol. My man. I love R&B. I put on my "Late Night Tings" playlist. Marques Houston ("Naked", "How I Do"). Drake ("A Night Off", "Bria's Interlude", "Shut It Down"). The-Dream ("Kill The Lights", "Luv Songs"), The Weeknd before he started singing about gang-banging drugged out chicks ("What You Need", "The Party and the After Party").

I don't see how that's relevant to AA. You don't have to like women to overcome nervousness to approach them.

Haha I assure you I'm not exaggerating on an anonymous internet forum. Back home I made friends with a number of club owners through business , so was exposed to models and dancers. Nothing more than #-closes and dates unfortunately, though the ex did some modelling.

Currently I have bad AA and need alcohol to get over it, my new years resolution is to not drink for a year and to approach 20 girls a week. I was considering the same resolution. Do you still plan to do bar and club pickup, or other venues? I found going to loud drinking environments sober difficult.

I'm in the same boat as you, except my relationship was over 7 years. Lost all my skills. Was never in the community, but developed my own theory of confidence, self-control, and an element of challenge when I was in my late teens. Got a 10, we fell in love, it went to shit and unbeknownst to me so did all my skills. Got some AA and even worse turned into a nice guy. I'm hoping they are lurking under the surface somewhere. If you can still be cocky once you open that's great, opening is the easi…
