A CS degree is not worthless. Recruiters (and students) just don't know what a CS degree is useful for. It's not a network admin degree. It's also not a programming degree.

(German version interpretation) In the summoning rhyme of the fish he says "My wife doesn't want the things that I want". At the end the fish says "she is already back in the pigsty". One can argue that the husband is god. He was content with his lowly home and happy with his life. The fish itself can also be seen just as his power - the fish only interacts with him, never with the wife. He fulfills all the wife's wishes. And in the end the wife's final wish also becomes true: she lives like god…

This is the prime opportunity to network and get laid. To network, yes. To get laid, no. Girls are at their prime SMV in college. You are not. If you compete against someone in his 30s you will lose. His SMV is just higher than yours. College is the place where you kickstart your career. You get perfect grades (so you can pursue anything you want). You network (as you mentioned). Sure, get in the occasional fling, maybe spin a plate, but in general college is not the place to get laid.

and plenty more who are just average in looks, and about even 50% of which aren't attractive enough to get any male attention whatsoever Please read the following: http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/your-looks-and-online-dating/

hell she's probably better in bed with some experience. A "high" number count of 40 doesn't mean shit when it comes to experience. She can fuck the same guy 600 times in a LTR, that's way more experience and the number is still 1. It also shows that apparently she has at least some qualities to be able to maintain a LTR.

Because the sub would also tell the guy to stop being beta and dump the chick if the story was "when we do hang out, she's always on her phone". The first part of never responding is completely irrelevant to the advice. Also, you're a smart guy/girl. You can figure out on your own - without me telling you - that I'm busy when I don't immediately respond. And you know I'll contact you as soon as I'm available.

Why would you listen to celebrities or care what they say? They're popular / well known. That's their only qualification (exceptions exist). They don't need to be intelligent. They don't need to be educated. They need to be able to act and (most) must look good. That's it. If an actor actually will say "I don't know enough about X, thus I don't have an opinion" he/she will have my respect - and I will consider their opinion about other topics. About watching movies: I barely watch any movies (wa…

You also have to establish (to her) that you are listening, because you want to listen at this moment. Not because she has an inherent right that you listen to her. A good option for that is to occasionally say "I will listen later" when you are busy doing something else. Yes, you are willing to listen to her problems, but it happens on your terms, not on hers.

You approached her. She started to play a game "I will give you my number in 2 weeks". This already falls in the drama category. You like her, she apparently likes you, why play stupid games? Then she said that you are not her type. So if that is true it's too much effort for what you will eventually get to convince her otherwise. Other girls are awesome as well and you will be their type from the start. If it is wrong, then she lied. Aka drama. Thus, she is either drama or not interested in you…

The story is not about him being an asshole. Most agree with that. It's about "Should I get back to him?" after she tried to get the asshole convicted.

They went 3-11-4, finished in last place. Dishonest information. The link you provided shows that they only played 18 games (3-11-4), while the other teams played 35. They are only 3 points behind the 2nd to last team. It's highly likely that they would've managed to make up those 3 points in 17 other games. That said.... 2nd to last is still a joke.

You are correct, it was used for that for a long time. Recently a certain kind of women tried to find a derogatory term which applies only to men (like whore / bitch only attack women) and came up with fuckboy. They're oblivious to the original use of it. Basically: Just ignore it completely and don't let it enter your vocabulary as anything else as in prison rape.

If you take away the billions, he'd be a 4/10 at best. Why would you do that though? Not to mention that SMV has nothing to do with beta/alpha. You have way to much focus on "bangs many / different young chicks = alpha".

I'm not American as well. But if you are in any Western country it will happen sooner or later. I'm currently learning an Asian language and plan to move within the next 5 years. It will probably come to that country as well within the next few decades, but I'll be to old to care. Hell, maybe I'll even get an unicorn ;) (I know they don't exist, but a man can dream)

Why? If the other dude hits the gym more often & has martial arts training I'm at a disadvantage. He spent his time training to have the means in a physical fight. I spent more time on having the means (money) for a legal fight. Choose our battlefield and only fight when you know you are going to win

If you were a billionaire, do you think more women would want to fuck you? If yes, and you are not a billionaire, then you`re not at your SMV maximum. Are you at a disadvantage? Yes. There is no point denying that. But life is not fair and you have to play with the cards you were dealt. And ask yourself if you would rather be your lazy slob self. He wouldnt have a chance with a 5. You can probably get a 7? Face: Is surgery an option? I know a guy who had his entire chin restructured (but he was …

Right now, I have feelings of guilt because I could have used that time to read up on programming, on finance, I could have met some tinder/OKC sloots, etc. Programming? Good. Finance? Good. Fucking more sluts? Where is the improvement? Unless you are in a phase, in which you struggle with women (thus more interaction is a learning experience) there's nothing that helps you. It's just a fun past-time just like playing a video game.

If you're a young European person: Learn an Asian language (Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese, Chinese, ...) and prepare to move to that country after you've acquired a few years of work experience. Your education will be in high demand in those countries, and they are the rising nations of the 21st century.

Same for me & my ~10 closer friends. Middle class (doctors, architects, ..). The girlfriends usually do have a Job, but it's not great in most cases. Early 30s, 0 marriages, 1 child. Why? No idea. It might be local, but it feels like a "everything sucks anyways, so why bother?" attitude.

reply back immediately I reply back as soon as I have time. When I'm doing somthing different, I will finish doing that. But if I just finished doing something (or am about to start something longer) I will reply immediately. I honestly have better things to do than waiting 10minutes before I am "allowed" to reply. If you actually have the time to wait that's more of a problem. You should not sit on your ass waiting for something and if you have an active enough life you will be often enough in …

Sexual assault is a crime and it should be punished by a court. There's of course the issue how to define sexual assault (legal definition probably differs a lot of what you see on your Facebook page). And there's the issue of how society deals with a former criminal. I personally believe that a person who served his crime is a again a fully functional member of society and should be treated as such. Our representatives (the court) decided & administered the punishment, so everything which happe…

The world is unfair and some people have a head start. You can whine or you can improve to be an exception, it's your choice. That's imho the biggest TRP truth that exists. The world is completely unfair. It's your choice to accept that unfairness and do your best, or cry about it. TRP is not the crying path.

ctrl-f "Sorry" / "apology" No results found :( Hope that woman at least linked her husband the article. The article also prompted me to write an email to my father (timezones; yeah for no phones and no chance of my mother interfering) and apologizing for being on my mother's side when my father bought the wrong stuff. I always thought that was just normal banter - nothing serious -, but somehow I now doubt it :/ God... why is apologizing to my (awesome, though a little BP) father so fucking hard…

Guy in OP: "Most stereotypes don't apply." Top commenter: "Let me list all the stereotypes!" Sounds more like "I'd like that" instead of "She might like that" The OP himself gives the best advice in the thread: "I thinking about finding a place that's in a nice, natural area - a cabin or similar - with a fireplace. I really think she'd dig that." OP has to find someone who takes care of the kid. Then tell his wife to pack her shit and get going. No explanation. Leading.

Gamers would be the ideal community to be fed feminist/SJW ideas. The majority of gamers are not alphas (some gave up on all women so I'm reluctant of calling them betas). If the whole approach would've been "We need better written characters in video games (thus better written women in video games) they would've eaten that up. A lot of people are like, as you said, "Go and make a game for women. You are free to do that. But the majority of the market likes our games and it's a financial decisio…

Short version from what I gathered: A (female) video game developer makes a (shitty?) game. She fucks various people in the gaming industry "press" and allegedly (answer depends on who you ask) gets better coverage for her game (and personal stuff). Also uses DMCA strikes to silence criticism. Gamers are mad at that, and in return get insulted by SJWs ("gamer = misogynist") and shit blows over. The gaming press talks about "gamers are dead", while forums cry havoc how the gaming press is corrupt…

Exactly. If you look at all games (be it PC, console, mobile, facebook ...) you have a large body of women playing games. If you look at AAA games (console, PC) your target audience is still teenage (and a bit older) boys. Misinterpretation of stats is quite common though.

Back then you could fail in shooters. Really fail. Like having to load a safe point which lies back days cause you messed up in terms of ammunition or health packs. No. You could not. Regenerative health and picked up health packs are two completely different design models for shooters. In the days of old shooters you had avoidable damage (you could dodge enemy projectiles). Today if an enemy shoots you you take instant damage (since their weaponry leads to instant projectiles). One system leads…

-Gonna sound like a huge noob here but what do you talk to women about (ones you don't know)? I seem to only be able to discuss nerdy/intellectual/political subjects, or sports. All of those tend to dry em up. It depends on the circumstances where you meet. Do you have the same acquaintances? You can talk about them. Or work. Or why you are at the place you are at (assuming that's not a random club). Most often though, just tell them what you want (probably sex). If they reject - who cares? They…

Everyone should check their local laws and see what they are required to do in interactions with the police (and what they are allowed to not do). Most of the time you are required to show your ID and that's it. That said - you shouldn't be an asshole to the police. Just know that you have certain rights and nicely inform them that you act on those rights. Just keep frame as normal, don't act emotional. Example if you fuck up: Rape accusation. To the police "But she seemed to be fine with it!" L…

Read the article and don't just look at graphs. "We included the only 15 countries for which we found data on men paying for sex at least once in their lifetimes. We excluded countries for which we could only locate findings on paid sex during the previous year."

"We could've had this discussion, and I might even agree with you on some points, but it's apparently a very emotional topic for you. And making up facts/using hyperbole/insult (chose the appropriate one) is not something I tolerate in my discussions, so this one is over." Whenever a woman gets emotional during a discussion cut her off. (Or save yourself the trouble and don't even start a discussion about certain topics)
