Use the study group trick. If she's in one of your classes and HW/exams come up, suggest you study together and then use that time to build attraction, where you can cap it off with "wanna get coffe sometime/wanna go to this party" etc

Be active. You DONT need to join a frat to have friends. Meet people on your floor, talk to people in classes and in clubs. What I've found most effective is to be part of study groups! Seriously, just talk to people and you'll be golden

As long as it's tasteful, then no need to fear.

Some people might tell you that she's not that into you, but it's totally possible that she is just bad at handling emotions or being passionate. She might really really like you but requires things to escalate slowly. Keep at it OP

You're putting too much thought into how hot there girls in your pictures look. I'd suggest you only have one picture with girls, but it doesn't really matter because they don't look at the profile like "Oh this guy has tons of girls already, he must be a challenge"

This is tricky. I am a huge nerd about a few things, notably Pokemon, League of Legends, and manga. However, when I'm picking up girls I don't really talk about any of it. Recently, I use funny stories that I have from when I hanged out with friends/worked at my internship. She doesn't need to know every single one of my wants or needs and neither do I need to know hers. About being comfortable with yourself, I broke up with my girlfriend of 1.5 years a few months back. I realized that I had bec…

Right now you need to set realistic inner goals for yourself. You need to make friends with ALL sorts of people, be them men, women, hot, ugly, whatever. You should not go with the mentality "I'm going to approach three girls and get some numbers" because you need to get more comfortable in social settings in general. My advice would be to make more friends and go to everything you're invited to and if you see something interesting happen, invite someone to go with you. Your goals should be "I w…

Don't put too much weight on slotting your relationship into one box or another. Saying that you've never had a GF isn't an excuse. You can try to woo a girl as much as possible, but in the end you have NO CONTROL on whether she accepts you or not. So if she doesn't then just move on! Why be anxious over something you had no control over?

Is there anything you can do to change your situation? Anything you can do to stop the bankruptcy? If the answer is no, then you hold no self-responsibility. If you hold no self-responsibility then you shouldn't let it affect your confidence, because your confidence does not hinge on the "world" being kind to you or not, it hinges on you doing as much as you can with what you have.

Basically anything that is different from a movie that has a ton of interaction between the two of you. Nature hiking, dance classes, cooking classes, etc

So you're blaming a subreddit for not getting as far with women as you usually do. I know you're only 16, but everything in that sentence screams immaturity. The happiest of us--and the more successful in the long run--are the ones that keep their chin up and take everything that comes along, be it success or failure, in stride. The problem isn't the subreddit, the problem is that you've read about people's stories here and assumed that you'd be able to mirror their success. You went from "I jus…

I definitely won't forget. The thing is that we've never physically met. We matched on Tinder, I got her number on Saturday, and we've been texting since then. I'm afraid that if I don't keep engaging she'll lose interest and reject me when I ask her to hang out at the university (even if she did suggest it)

Think about WHY you can't get her.

Texting this girl and she's shown a lot of interest (through text) thus far. We're both in the same college but won't get a chance to meet up until it starts in ten days or so. She was the one that suggested we should meet up in the semester for drinks/coffee. How do I keep her interested until then? I don't want to bore her with constant back-and-forth even though she's shown a lot of interest in my work, choice of major, etc. I also don't want to seem like I'm not interested by texting too lit…

Or just text when you can? If a girl texted me last night and I start working at 8am the next day, I'll text her at 7:50am. I know she's not awake and she won't answer right away, and that's ok. What's not OK is wanting to text her something but waiting several hours because you think she'll find you clingy.

Read "The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem" by Nathaniel Branden. It's a very insightful book that strays away from pseudo-psychology and helped me pick myself up after a break-up. Probably the most important part was that happiness and success are natural conditions and both unhappiness and failure are temporary aberrations.

I got out of a relationship that lasted 20 months a month ago. Going out to bars with friends has helped me out a ton, as has Tinder. Nothing helps you get your mind off your ex than thinking about another girl, and Tinder is a pretty easy way to do it. Just getting a few numbers is a small and manageable victory that will help you build more confidence to ask out girls

I'm interested in people's take on this. Texting has been enough for me so far, but a lot of the older people (30+) at work insist that talking to her on the phone to set a date will increase attraction much faster. What's you guys' take on this?

Im interested in this girl at my university; it's summer and I'm not there but I'll be going back in a month. Out of the blue I decided to text her. If my goal is to ask her out in the first week of class (mid-August) how should I play this out? Just stop texting and resume closer to the date or send sporadic messages like once a week or so? We're part of the same club and we've done some light flirting before at our events but nothing big.

My ex was asexual in that she liked men (and only men) but she rarely ever felt passion or a desire to have sex. She was never much into romance either; they're just as loving as anyone else except they don't express much of it through romantic acts. It's not something related to Tumblrinas or SJW at all.
