Being a swede I feel like the internet has a very distorted view of us. Yes feminism or egalitarianism is big here but it's usually a saner and much more male friendly type of feminism than the one in the anglosphere. I couldn't imagine SJWs declare our top universities safe spaces and attacking and trying to silence MRAs in that manner. Many stories that goes around on the internet regarding feminism are very badly interpreteted and often flat out wrong.

Boys and girls have different expectations though, girls don't risk nearly enough seeking help for their problems, for boys it goes against everything they've been taught, men should be able to take care of themselves. FIFA can suspend people, and they sometimes do, but it's usually only for a dozen matches or something. Outisde of the US football associations and clubs tend to suspend and fine players every now and then for things like this, but they always come back, it wouldn't ruin their careers. Generally the approach is that it's up to the justice system to give them the proper punishment when it happens outside the sport, not the clubs or the football associations.

I don't know much about it, it's not really talked about much here in Sweden. Bellas Vänner was a sect that started in Northern Sweden in 1997, it is said they brought women to camps to brainwash them, others say none of that is true and the kidnapping in question here was also made up. What this is about is an organisation has created a label that movies can put on their their posters and shit if they are approved by this organisation, that's it, anyone can do that for any bullshit reason whatsoever.
