I am a fan of this show. At this point, I have no problem with the depiction of male rape. Earlier in the series a female was raped. What really matters is how they deal with the aftermath of the event. It's OK to talk about and depict rape. Even violent rape. What matters is following it up by showing the horrible trauma it can do to a person. It doesn't matter if it is male or female rape. The next few episodes are what really matter.

Haha...I had the exact same reaction. I guess the old adage "Be careful what you wish for!" applies here.

Hmm...it appears you are right koonat. I looked up his submission history. He does appear to be a spammer. I reported this submission. I guess we will see what happens.

I doubt the mods will remove it. But that's a good thing. Unless something is spam the mods usually let the community upvote or downvote as a means of choosing the content. That being said....chill dude. I was just letting you know what the theme of this subreddit is, and the content it usually hosts. You can submit anything you want for all I care. But if you don't think that out of control state functionaries are a major issue in the men's movement, then you may have some things to learn about…

Good video, but I think you submitted this to the wrong subreddit. MensRights is a subreddit that focuses on gender inequality systemically perpetrated against men by society. I would recommend /r/Bad_Cop_No_Donut for this submission.

If you could take the male-bashing out of this article you would get to a very important point. To much of our society has become obsessed with completely pointless entertainment. Entertainment does have a place in a person's life, but it should not become the purpose of your life. This is increasingly becoming a Brave New World.

Wow...um. I'm no fan of feminists who come to this subreddit and go on a tirade about how we all hate women....but...seriously???? Since when is violence an acceptable response? That cartoon is truly misogynistic and does not belong here or in any other (sub)reddit except perhaps /r/WTF.

haha...that is totally fine by me. I'll keep calling 'em girls and the entire world is completely free to call me a boy. Makes me feel young again. :)

So, she's gone through the trouble of making a site designed to discredit the MR's movement. . . No, I think the OP is saying that these people created the site. Unless we want to get into the semantics of "create" versus "make".

Thanks for letting me know. I fixed it now so that the gender is appropriately switched.

Here is the story article, however, I have made a few modifications to change the gender. I'm curious if any women find this article to be completely offensive, condescending and hateful? “Don’t worry baby, I’m on the pill.” As a man, I’ve said many versions of this line before, but if I ever heard it myself, I think I would laugh out loud – or cry. The idea of a female contraceptive pill possibly appearing on the market in the next few years is more worrisome than revolutionary. Maybe it’s just…

As a male I am absolutely not a misandrist, however, I downvoted you based on principle. I always downvote any post that tells me to upvote it.

I thought you were being funny. ;) Unfortunately some forms of humor are lost in this medium.

There is a difference between what a person should be legally obligated to do, and what a person should feel morally obligated to do. Legally: A man should not be legally obligated to do anything for kids that are not biologically his. Morally: If you've raised a child for any length of time and essentially become "Daddy" to them, then I believe a moral person would recognize just how important it is that you continue in that role. To not do so will psychologically damage the child. Furthermore,…

Hmm...after reading this I had the feeling that the writer makes unjustified assumptions based on an incomplete understanding of natural systems. Honestly, this seems like an attempt to use naturalism to justify hate. I agree that modern marriage in America (perhaps Canada too, I don't know) is a bad deal for men in terms of economics, but this persons explanation seemed unnecessarily hate-filled. Why does the author attempt to link socialism (a subject that historically has been heavily propaga…

But I'm also disappointed that this guy is being demonized for the affair. His wife lives in the same city and hadn't seen him in three days. My guess is that this marriage was crumbling for a while. Just some additional information: McNair had at least one other girlfriend and a wife, along with this girl. Having multiple girlfriends was a way of life for him and had nothing to do with his marriage. Unfortunately this sort of thing is becoming very common among professional athletes. They both …

I get alot of joy out of being a father. Granted, I stopped at 1 child. As they say, individual results may vary.

I don't disagree with you. But I do want to point something out. I was forced to go to dances in elementary school and I hated it, however, it was mostly shyness and the process of overcoming that helped build me into a stronger/better person.

For Father's Day my wife told me to "Play with your daughter all day, I've got school work." I was cool with that. My daughter is 2 years old so she made me a tea party.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
