| – | Stephen Fry quits as host of the BBC show "QI"and is replaced by feminist politician Sandi ToksvigIt would be great for banter, but QI is about fluff in between some actual learning, of which there would be none. That's why I love Cox, he drops some solid science in between the banter. | /r/MensRights | 14/10/15 11:10 PM |
| – | Stephen Fry quits as host of the BBC show "QI"and is replaced by feminist politician Sandi ToksvigBrian Cox is my favorite guest on that show, but he is a professor so he cannot be expected to do QI full time I guess. IMO the best new host would have been David Mitchell or as originally planned, Michael Palin. Even if they wanted to limit themselves to just women, Ronni Ancona or Sara Pascoe or were much more enthusiastic about trivia rather than cheap jokes and thus more suited for hosting QI. I suppose I have to say a prayer that it isn't Sue Perkins or Jo Brand. | /r/MensRights | 14/10/15 10:45 PM |
| – | 'Kind, funny and bright' student, 17, hanged himself after being falsely accused of rape and finding it 'difficult to cope with the investigation'Exactly. Not many people think this situation is alright. In fact, if you told most ordinary people this story, they would spare you a "that's fucked up" between their busy work schedule and worrying where the next meal is going to come from. The only people who think this is alright are immature people who spend all their time fabricating gender based outrage on the Internet. Such people are immune to logic and reason, and you can never convince them to consider your point of view. The only peo… | /r/MensRights | 01/10/15 10:10 PM |
| 5 | Discuss in this thread where the fuck we're going to go when we get banned in the next week.ugly short monster Tell me once again how men like to objectify and judge women based on their looks. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/15 04:40 AM |
| – | Guy is expelled from high school and lost his scholarship because a girl misheard himI'm okay with posts that are blatant embellishments if not outright lies in subreddits like /r/tifu, but not in /r/SuicideWatch. That is just a scummy thing to do, and you can't get the OP to prove his story even if you want to help. As for the story itself, I find it too Kafkaesque. Or maybe I'm just a cynical bastard. | /r/MensRights | 09/03/15 01:03 PM |

| 11 | I am disgusted and sickened by the new Taylor Swift video, Blank Space. She assaults him, destroys his property and sexually assaults him when he is unconscious. 17 million views, almost 400,000 likes, and around 12,000 dislikes.I disagree. By that same logic, video games must be teaching our children it is normal to shoot their way out of trouble, which we know is not true. It is entertainment, and I think we should trust people to know what is right from wrong instead of labeling it problematic. Many people are on this subreddit because we have seen others who do not understand that. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/14 02:36 AM |

| -1 | Local College is removing mens-only restroomsHold your horses, tiger. I go to one of the colleges listed there, and though I see a lot of claims here about it being bad for men there is absolutely nothing out in the real world that reflects any of the craziness I see on the internet. I have seen every person be treated with courtesy and respect irrespective of their background. Speak to the people enrolled in those colleges, and don't deny your children an opportunity to attend a good college if they get in. | /r/MensRights | 04/11/14 03:30 AM |
| 1 | HelloThis is an important observation. No idea why you are being downvoted. No movement should become an echo chamber of extreme ideas and harbor and protect bigots who hold extremist views. That is the reason I associate myself with this movement more than feminism: when I first came here, I was told that well reasoned out thoughts would be welcome regardless of gender, and without bias. I stayed because I was also made aware of many of men's problems which I wasn't aware of even though I am male, w… | /r/MensRights | 26/10/14 03:06 PM |

| 1 | Take this social attitude testProgressivism 95 Socialism 31.25 Tenderness 51.375 Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a university professor. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general. Your attitudes towards economics appear capitalist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a libertari… | /r/MensRights | 02/10/14 12:54 PM |
| – | Rape charges 'have become a fashion' in India, says Shiv Sena party ' 'good weapons to seek personal revenge'.The Shiv Sena aren't exactly the sanest people around either, they're conservative thugs masquerading as a political party. | 4 | Indian feminists rattledDowry is a practice, especially in the context of arranged marriages, wherein a bride's family provides gifts (monetary, material: cars, houses,..., or both) to the groom (and/or his family) for accepting the bride's hand in marriage. This is particularly gendered - the groom does not have to provide dowry to the bride. It's pretty nasty since it treats women like commodities for trade and places a price on men depending on their qualifications and so on. For e.g. a man who has studied medicine,… | /r/MensRights | 15/07/14 01:05 AM |
| 10 | I am in a feminist class in college and these are from Tough Guise 2, a film by Jonathan Katz.Anybody can throw out numbers and statistics, but they actually mean very little unless interpreted correctly. I am not denying the validity of the statistics, I'm skeptical about the validity of the inference. I will just bring up a few questions about one statistic at random, say: 77% or [sic] [recte of] aggravated assaults I don't mean to imply that men don't perpetrate more aggravated assaults (in fact, I would guess that they indeed do). But touting this number to claim "there is a systemat… | /r/MensRights | 30/05/14 05:54 AM |

| 3 | India officially in Patriarchy 2.0, New Divorce Law Gives Half of Even Inherited Property to The WomanIndia IS a misogynistic shithole No, parts of India are misogynistic shitholes, just like parts of the US are home to white thrash. Those parts are getting extensive media coverage because the media likes to cover surprising outliers rather than the average Joe, and these parts certainly have a problem that desperately needs addressing. | /r/MensRights | 27/08/13 04:52 AM |
| 2 | Misandric Indian Union Budget 2013-2014It is important to realize that the Indian social scenario is very different from that of the Western world; this analysis of the budget disregards this. There are social problems faced by people in Indian women unique to the subcontinent, such as: Female foeticide: In many places, when the parents determine that the unborn child is female, the proceed to abort the child, because they deem themselves unable to afford dowry or due to social stigma. Dowry: Depending on which region of India you ar… | /r/MensRights | 06/04/13 09:50 PM |
