How many people here ACTUALLY cold approach?Yeah generally when I say "I thought you were cute" it's not in a shy awkward way, it's confident and non needy way with a falling tone. Like "hey here's what I think take it or leave it", maybe I didn't make it clear enough in my first post. | /r/askTRP | 18/10/18 04:02 AM
How many people here ACTUALLY cold approach?Alright I see what you mean now. | /r/askTRP | 18/10/18 12:46 AM
How many people here ACTUALLY cold approach? In my opinion walking up and opening with "what's your phone number" makes you look like an autist, considering you're skipping a handful of basic social norms. I'd much rather approach with strong body language and eye contact, say hi, build brief rapport, and then get her number. Whatever works though, I'm always looking to improve, but unless you're in the top 2% of guys or higher I'm thinking most girls would be like "wtf" if you don't even make basic conversation. | /r/askTRP | 17/10/18 10:49 PM
How many people here ACTUALLY cold approach?"Excuse me I know this is awkward because you're busy putting pancake mix on the shelf but I had to come say hi." you can literally put whatever she is doing in this sentence and it works. | /r/askTRP | 17/10/18 10:20 PM
How many people here ACTUALLY cold approach?I've always liked "Excuse me, I know this is a bit awkward because you're (trying to pick out apples, shopping for x, etc, whatever she's doing) but I thought you were cute and wanted to say hi." I find that acknowledging the awkwardness/weirdness (even if it's not) of the situation defuses any wall that a girl might have up. | /r/askTRP | 17/10/18 09:05 PM
GF out of town for work and not texting. You said you texted in hopes of getting a reply. That's what is insecure about it. | /r/askTRP | 04/10/18 02:58 AM
What's your most unpopular opinion?I agree but also disagree. Dumb kids can learn to be smart, it's our education system that is fucking them. Kids shouldn't be stuck in grades with kids their age, they should be placed based on skill level, and only move up once they've mastered the skills of that "grade". No time limit on how long you can stay on certain subjects or in "grades" (within reason), you just need to master it before moving on. Our school system now teaches things in 2 week units, and if you don't "get" the topic aft… | /r/askTRP | 04/08/18 05:20 AM
At what point did you realize, "I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks anymore", and how did you get there?Letter 28 doesn't discuss that part necessarily, but his other letters do. His recommendations are pretty standard Stoic principles - mental fortitude, being responsible for your thoughts and actions, being aware of your mortality, etc. If you haven't read Letters from a Stoic I HIGHLY recommend it, it's better than Meditations in my opinion. And if you haven't read Meditations, do so immediately. | /r/askTRP | 21/03/18 06:21 PM
At what point did you realize, "I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks anymore", and how did you get there?I agree that there is the potential to build confidence, but I think the part that gets overlooked is the fact that "wherever you go, there you are". Which to me means if you're not confident at home, simply traveling won't make you confident. Or if you don't approach women at home, you won't suddenly start approaching them somewhere else. A great read on this is Letter 28 in Letters from a Stoic by Seneca. "Are you surprised, as if it were a novelty, that after such long travel and so many chan… | /r/askTRP | 21/03/18 06:08 PM

Give yourself some fucking creditI realized this the other day playing table tennis oddly enough. I noticed I got pissed every time I made a bad shot but never gave myself a pat on the back when I made a good one. I took some time after and realized that this applies to multiple areas of my life, not just my casual ping pong interest. Good post. | /r/TheRedPill | 14/08/16 09:00 PM
Is there any truth to not showering with soap making you smell better?I use body wash half the time and I don't smell any worse or better, but my skin feels more moisturized. I also only shampoo once a week and my hair doesn't get greasy or smell, it feels nicer after a few days building up some natural oil. I'd recommend trying no body wash/shampoo to anyone, but if it will work for you depends on your body. I'm not a naturally smelly person so it works great for me. | /r/askTRP | 14/08/16 03:06 AM
What RP endorsed book has had the most profound effect on your life and why?I've told a few friends about it and every time I tell them not to judge it by the name lol. It's a fantastic book, changed more than just my outlook on money. | /r/askTRP | 02/08/16 01:41 PM

How to handle being asked to hang out by a girl? That's what /r/seduction has become. I understand that people need help, but seriously...go out, talk to girls for 6 months, and then come back with questions. Because 95% of peoples questions will be answered by the same trial and error that most "experienced" guys have gone through. | /r/askTRP | 22/05/15 08:46 PM

[FR] How to turn an unruly plate into a sexual servantOkay, so I see what you're saying about alpha. Maybe by definition he is being alpha. My point is though, is that there are better ways to handle the things she was doing than being a dick to her at every point. Because being a dick for no reason is not alpha. It's like push pull without the pull. Why would she stick around and be a plate? Alpha is not letting her change the radio station because you want to listen. There are multiple ways to do that. Giving her a 3 word answer and cutting the c… | /r/TheRedPill | 01/02/15 02:44 AM
[FR] How to turn an unruly plate into a sexual servantI agree with most Red Pill theory but you just sound like an asshole taking advantage of a girl with very low self esteem. This isn't Red Pill, you wouldn't get away with much of this with a girl who is actually worth your time. "Why are you listening to this" "Because I can" This is not passing a shit test, this is teenage angst. You're being an asshole just to be an asshole. Be playful with a girl, if you're spending time with her why not enjoy it? "Because it has excellent production qualitie… | /r/TheRedPill | 01/02/15 12:39 AM
Society has never been lower. So you might aswell be Red PillI disagree. I have a nose ring and I view it as a part of my style. I don't care about the attention I get because of it, I think it looks good and I like it. It's as attention seeking as wearing nice clothes or a nice watch or whatever, it's just not something most guys have. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/12/14 06:58 PM
Do you think it's possible to game normally if you're not dressed up for Halloween tomorrow night? Why not just dress up...? Easy conversation starter, less awkward approaching a girl dressed up when you are too, it's fun, roleplaying, etc. There are a ton of easy costumes to choose from. | /r/seduction | 31/10/14 02:58 AM
