I don't mean for it to, but it does. Although I know my current bf is different from my ex, I'm still scared to completely trust him bc of it. I have some ptsd from my previous relationship that I'm still in the process of working through. Once you've seen evil, it makes it feel as though I'd be putting my life at risk by completely trusting a significant other again. The world just seems so much scarier than before & I hate it.

I truly am sorry if you are a victim of sexual assault. More people are open to listening than you know, don't turn them away with anger.

Again, I'd contact RAINN with these concerns & encourage these men who have had bad experiences with the rape crisis hotline to share their stories. It all goes back to how awareness is built by having an organized, well intentioned group of victims who share their stories. Why would you think that I think you're full of shit if I haven't even looked through all your sources?

I havent looked into your sources yet, but have you attempted to discuss your concerns with RAINN? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems as though you might be more concerned about which gender commits more crimes of sexual assault? In case you're a survivor of sexual assault, I'd still recommend trying to get in touch with RAINN since they do recognize male victims of assault also. It's not that no one cares about rape happening to men or anything, it's probably much less likely to be reported …

Why do you believe them to be biased?

Have you heard of the organizations RAINN or NCADV?

I want to first clarify that I completely disagree with all of her opinions shown. Why do you think she's a feminist though? What do you believe to be the feminist definition of "toxic masculinity" & how does it differ from your personal definition of it?

I'm not sure what you're hoping to accomplish with this post. If your intention is to influence a change in perspective, have you considered expressing these opinions on a Pro-life vs. Pro-choice page? If it's validation you seek, then perhaps a pro-life page or something similar? A word of advice, disagreements tend to have a higher chance of resolution when both parties are open & respectful towards one another.

🙌 Seriously believe these type of guys are on the sociopathic spectrum. They're likely to be the ones who commit these sort of crimes against women. They want to continue to rape unconscious women/men & abuse their spouses without consequences. Good, empathetic men don't feel threatened or oppressed by laws protecting women from violence. Safe, honest men understand consent & aren't paranoid about their chances of receiving a bunch of "false accusations."

What does emotional maturity mean to you? Do you have different standards according to gender? It's perfectly normal to have certain physical or personality preferences, but emotions aren't a personality trait. With the exception of people on the ASPD spectrum, it would be similar as to having a preference for people without organs. Emotions are part of being a human.

I completely agree. It's a very sick & inhumane thing to do to someone you're supposed to love. No one should agree with that type of thinking.

So it's ok to discourage men from expressing emotions other than anger or happiness?

She's no feminist. She's encouraging toxic societal beliefs that define masculinity. I hate this. Men & boys shouldn't be shamed for crying or showing emotion. This is why so many men have undiagnosed depression.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
