At least she lost her license… I imagine because it’s a nursing board made up of mainly women and it is completely unacceptable for a clinician to do that sort of thing. As for the police - mainly men. She’s not bad looking. She cries, says I’m sorry and they are happy…

This is toxic femininity…. I’m a woman so I cannot be abusive and I have the right to do whatever I want.

Feminism is toxic femininity. My mother was a toxic female. She was incredibly abusive but able to get away with thing simply not acceptable for a man. Doctors, teachers and police officers prioritised her right to be a mother over my rights to safety.

It’s been like this throughout history though. Women have a very privileged place in society and privilege means that you get an outcome/things/opportunities you do not deserve.

All this stuff is economics. Women buy that shit and buy more than men on nonessential items... clothes, books, coffee shops, holidays, cosmetics. Amazon has no moral standpoint - all they care about is the bottom line.

Men are expected to spend money on women as well! In my household, my mothers money was her money and my Dads money was our money! It’s the same in many homes!

I think that a lot the issues I see on this sub on the surface make little sense. When you get down to the nuts and bolts of it, it always comes back to money. Google is trying to make money. Women spend more money and use social media more than men or any other group. It makes business sense to sell clothes to the plus size woman, it makes sense to “empower” women and it makes sense to highlight the plight of women because other women will consume it.

As a guy I couldn’t care less about slut shaming, period shaming, childcare shaming, birth etc. I think most guys don’t feel “qualified” enough to comment or have an opinion. As a result, guys are generally more sympathetic towards these issues.

I agree those days are gone! Nonetheless, many woman do take time off work for extended periods. Daytime TV - woman focused. News media online/TV - woman focused [in the UK, men were dying during the pandemic and the news media had stories daily about how the virus was affecting women]. Women only promotions. The average social media user is female. Women spend more and men are expected to spend money on them also. The point I’m making is that the world has always favoured women. In the Stone Ag…

Wealth gives people power even if they are incompetent - Donald Trump being a great example but this is replicated in all sectors and is the fundamental flaw in our society. Being poor and smart will only get you so far. As for CEOs and politicians being predominantly male, it’s more than what people seem to call male privilege. I think it should be called male sacrifice. To do these roles you have to give up many things. Sure getting paid well and having power might seem important on the outsid…

We live in a consumerist society. It’s makes business sense to empower women because they consume much more than men. Social media is no different in that regard. This applies to clothes (Plus size), holidays, coffee shops, and pretty much everything! Whilst men are out working, women are at home on Facebook or spending money!

Not at all!!! Your point is exactly like saying “not all women are sluts because they are are not attractive enough”. Hookup culture only exists because women fall for it! That’s the bigger question - why do women give it up to absolute idiots?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 04:53 AM

The overwhelming majority of men do not do hookup culture! It’s basically a bunch of idiots.... and the women that fall for that nonsense are just as bad!

It’s not even just sexist tropes. Could quite easily be abuse. “My husband is an idiot” - laughs..... “My wife’s an idiot” - huh...

When I was a junior doctor, I had to work in maternity for a while. Absolutely hated it but let’s not go there... As a guy in that environment, not by choice I must add, it was horrible. The way the predominantly female staff talk about men was really bad. If I spoke about women like that to other men, certainly they would call me out. Most are just completely oblivious to it all!

I could not read this but... We live in a consumerist society. Women buy more stuff - clothes, social events, pretty much everything. It makes business sense to “empower” women and some brands make it so obvious it’s actually cringe! Take for example the plus sized model or BBW. The fashion industry realised that nearly half of westerners are obese! Some of the stuff you wrote is so stupid! The bottom line is that men are valued on different criteria to women by society as a whole. Women can be …

Domestic violence is a huge con! Sure there are some men (very few) who abuse their wives in a “controlling” way. The vast majority of men accused of domestic violence lose their temper when faced with abuse themselves. It really does take two to tango despite what everyone thinks... As I said, what is acceptable behaviour for a woman is not for a man. I live in the UK. Recently a female celebrity threw a glass table at her partner. The police were called and due to the severity of the males inj…

The real issue is that it’s never acceptable for a man to lose his temper, shout or otherwise behave incorrectly even in he has valid reasons to do so. This kind of behaviour is tolerated for women and people try to make an excuse for her... “She is a girl boss”, “she has it so hard”, “her kid has...”, “she gets depressed”. What I am eluding to is that women, in every single facet of life, get more empathy than men. Men on the other hand get an immediate red card and if they behave incorrectly, …

Women spend more [and get more spent on] than men. Clothes, cosmetics, holidays, spa days, eating out.... it’s aimed at women. Daytime TV and therefore news is all aimed at women - men are working or dying of Covid! The reporter is trying to get views/hits so she target her audience!

OP, I ha e quite literally no idea what you are talking about?? I think you need to GROW UP and quit PLAYING GAMES. If you like someone tell them. I guess you’re right! People seem to think that only men are controlling in relationships but I think women are just as controlling however the way it’s viewed is completely different.

I had an abusive mother - yes abusive mothers do exist! This led to me being self-sufficient in almost everything. I fixed my boiler last week! It’s very difficult to explain, but having an abusive mother means that you learn a lot of incredible skills however there are some fundamental human traits that you somehow lack. Women I have dated, and even just friends, almost don’t like the fact I can look after myself. I don’t know if that makes sense?

What’s the deal... I’m not sure who actually abused who now. I can’t imagine Johnny Depp being abusive but Amber Heard.... I dunno, I just get a odd feeling whenever I see her. My alarm bells ring to keep well clear!! Does anyone else know what I mean?

I think the perception that women are marginalised in today’s world is the accepted narrative but far from reality. The bottom line is that women have so many more choices than most men. A fat guy is just yuck! A fat woman is a big beautiful woman! A woman can chose to be a working woman or stay at home mum. When men have children or families they most often have to work forever. We always hear about the gender pay gap. What about the life expectancy gap or the health funding gap? Think breast c…

The thing is it’s worst with children. People, social services, teachers, and doctors think that women cannot abuse their children. They get away with it. Women are privileged - they get more empathy and therefore people give them breaks.

I noticed this during the pandemic too. Every few days in the U.K. we had news stories about how covid was affecting women despite men literally dying! Some of it was typical BS - women doing cleaning and childcare during lockdown. We always hear about gender pay gaps. What about the standard gap? Behaviour that would be unacceptable for a man is acceptable for a woman. A crime committed by a man is punished harsher than the same crime by a woman. A man shouting or hitting a child is abuse and d…

When I was younger, primary school was all female teachers. In secondary/high school we had a mixture of older male and female teachers and obviously some newer young mainly female teachers. I did better in the male led classes - science, maths and sport. In my opinion, men don’t teach as much today because the pay has not increased due to government policy. This has made the profession unviable for men who still overwhelmingly form the financial backbone of most families.

Abusive women, and in particular abusive mothers, literally get away with murder. We’ve all seen it.... Mum going crazy at kid in public. Nobody says anything because wider society, the mother and even the child think that only men are abusive. Equality is important to me but women receive way more empathy than men which means they get away with crimes, bad behaviour and abuse.

I live in the UK. During COVId men were dying yet the news channels were talking constantly about how this virus affects women. Feminism makes women victims and men perpetrators. Neither is true.

I think it’s all economics... someone figured out that to make money you market aggressively towards women. Women spend more money on crap and men often buy said crap for women. Think Mother’s Day vs Father’s Day? Think weddings, clothes, cosmetics, coffee shops, gyms. I think all this has led to an erosion of the value of men.

Peaceful protest always becomes violent because local issues become national issues. The people trashing that are are outsiders and are actually young white people in hoodies, balaclavas etc. They are a far left anarchists and anti capitalists. They always do this kind of shit. When they leave, the police will crackdown on that are and the cycle continues. America is a mess and everyday racism, exclusion and ignorance is at its rotten core.

I lost all respect for Michelle Obama when she took it upon herself to “raise awareness” of Boko Haram in Nigeria. 100 school girls got kidnapped and Michelle Obama fell right into the terrorists trap, getting more exposure than they had ever imagined. This organisation has been around for 40 years and they oppose secular education in favour of Islamic law. Prior to kidnapping 100 girls, they spent decades going to schools and sending girls home. Literally thousands of boys were burnt alive! Whe…

Nothing new... I’m 35 and mother was extremely abusive. She convinced me that my dad was a bad guy and she wasn’t. I ran away at 15 and haven’t seen my Mum for nearly 20 years now! Life has changed a lot however I don’t think I will ever be able to truly trust a woman. My Mum got away with so much. Unbelievable! It’s literally the same thing! When a male teacher has a relationship with a female student she is a victim. I'm not sure about the feminism angle - seems a tad sensationalist. I completed my A-levels in 2002. Back then, I had a pretty even mix of male and female teachers. During my final two years, it was mostly male teachers - I did all the sciences and maths! I genuinely believe that these male teachers, often very senior, were key to my success. They influenced me, guided me, and encouraged a sense of self-belief by challenging me that has served me well throughout life - I'm an ICU doctor now... S…

My Mother felt unsupported by my Father. She defo took that out on me. He was working to support us and was in a difficult situation himself. He knew what was happening - post man etc told him about the screaming but he did nothing. I never knew how to “be” around my mum. It’s such an important relationship and many of the problems I have faced come from missing that experience. I guess I’ve blocked out a lot of what happened. I feel sorry for her because she has to live with it!

I’m 35... when I was in high school I had a really good set of teachers both male and female. I feel that they were the last generation of proper teachers in the UK. We now have incredibly immature teachers who try to fit in with the students far too much a Teachers need boundaries to be respected in my opinion.

In the UK men who commit petty crimes are jailed. Women with children vomiting the same offences are going to be given “therapy” because children “need their mothers”. It’s awful and I wonder how good they are as people let alone parents. Women who are having financial problems sell sex and the general populous feels bad for them. Men in the same situation sell drugs or commit crimes - they get no sympathy.
