Good points about the war on boys and men having gone too far. Those who deny that systematic differences between the sexes exist are idiots. But saying something like this will get you fired from Google, which was surprising because they are a tech company supposedly. My point was about the changes in technology that by themselves have and will necessitate changes in the relationship between the sexes in society. Maybe none of them has been more significant for this relationships than birth con…

Agree about the past. But your ability to wield a sword better than any woman does not matter if you show up to a gun fight. There are many examples of that. Technology changes the nature of competition between the sexes. Look at the incarcerated population. What is the proportion? 90% men? More boys drop out of high school than girls. More suicides. I know men can punch 10x harder. But punching power does not matter anymore unless you are punching keys on the keyboard coding software... Men who…

Women are not a homogenous group. All statements made about women in general are therefore formally wrong. I get what you are saying, but it’s simply too broad of a brush. The rules will affect how people, including of course women, will play it. A good place t…

Sorry your experience has been like that. I have seen women being altruistic, have seen men. Have seen men being terrible too and women being bitches as well. Altruism as such is rare, not a major force in society. Cooperation to meet individual needs however is a major force. Has been for thousands of years. A family, a tribe, a nation... Rather than thinking about how terrible people can be we should think about how to better cooperate with each other in this world that’s being transformed by …

Expecting altruism toward yourself is a bit much. I’m talking about cooperation between two self-interested parties. It can work between a man and a woman. Just the heads cannot be too hot.

Women also cooperate with men and are probably equally as productive as men on average in peace times.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
