Don't be quiet. This is important, but it is also important to think about how you're saying what you're saying. If you're saying, "THIS IS WHAT I THINK, THIS IS WHY I THINK IT IS RIGHT, AND YOU NEED TO ACCEPT IT", it isn't going to work as well as saying, "I think that this is right, and I want to work with you so that you're able to understand what I think".

chances are you probably do not follow your own movement very well if you think the MRM and feminism are in any way compatible What makes you think that?

Would it be so hypocritical to support men's rights as well? No. Personally, I'm a feminist and a masculinist. And, I'm the same "ist" for any gender between or not between male and female. Also, I support all people's rights, regardless of gender.

What did this research mean to you?

I'm not sure what you're asking. I support a reasonable period of leave for all the parents who are going to raise the child(ren).

I want to add this quote from Brown University about Male Survivors: If a man became sexually aroused, had an erection, or ejaculated during the sexual assault, he may not believe that he was raped. These are involuntary physiological reactions. They do not mean that the person wanted to be sexually assaulted, or that they enjoyed the traumatic experience. Just as with women, a sexual response does not mean there was consent.

I commend you for talking with your pastor about the issue. Though I'm not really religious, myself, I support you and your pastor to work with mens' rights. :)

How do I get this post up near the top so I can get some responses? If you submit the post, that's about all that you can do. Then, it becomes a matter of waiting for people to up vote the post. Basically, the community determines what goes to the top, by up voting and down voting stuff. Welcome to reddit, btw. :)

The man fathers a woman's child. The man is the child's father. Therefore, the man has the same rights as all other fathers. That's the way I see it under the law.

Thoughts? I think that the tradition of men paying for the date is because, as American society tends to view things, men are the breadwinners and women are the stay-at-home moms. Therefore, as breadwinners, men are more capable of paying for the date, and they usually do. I think this tradition is shit, and I'm very happy that as a man who dates men, we both pay.

Meh. There are women who like certain things and women who don't like certain things.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
