Here's a cheat code - Eye contact. look deep into her eyes whenever you get the chance. what helps me is that i think stuff that i'd wan't to set the mood with in my mind. This! for me what works is not calling it date at all , even if the girl wants to call it a date. i just straight up tell her that i'm not comfortable calling this a date yet and it usually throws them off balance and also puts less pressure on both parties.

I am a victim of this too. She friended and i accepted. Perfect response, just to add - you're in college, you are living in a dorm... you have access to so many girls that live around you, start looking and dating around. She wants "to get drunk and make out with random guys", which personally I dont think i can handle, but you can try going around and flirting w/ her roomates , getting close and showing her what shes missing..
