She dislikes the negative depictions of marriage for men. Or more precisely, that these depictions seem to have dissuading effect on her bf from marring her. However, the 2 specific things she brings up (bf's fathers inability to go out, & bf's newlywed friend not having much sex) are not "depictions"; They are Testimonials. This isn't some fictitious sit-com TV show. Those two examples are from REAL marriages. And those are not the only real world examples of marriages that have been crammed in…

If a man makes it to 30 or 35 (maybe later or sooner because everyone is different) and still uses the same excuses, then they are just excuses. Agree. Crappy parent(s) can be the cause of a man starting off his adulthood far behind others. It can even stunt his growth into manhood: Difficulties noticing there's a problem, Identifying what the true issues are, Accepting the truth of these issues, Choosing to take ownership of the problem, Know how to move forward to resolve them, Finding the cou…

With only two weeks left, ZERO critics review. Interesting for a Blockbluster not to have any "professional" reviews.

If you have to ride with a woman driving, it's probably a good idea to get a before and after picture for health care claims.

Google.com, Gmail, and Youtube seemed to have been working fine during that time for me. Maybe all those people are non-essential. Perhaps it's time to trim the fat.

saying she would love me forever This is hyperbolic statement of the quantity of desire she has towards OP changing her grade. It's kinda like when someone says "I'm so hungry; I could get a horse!" No one is actually looking for an Equestrian burger, or 1,000 pounds of food. Further, It's a statement of how much she wants it. Not a statement of what she's willing to do for it. Simp is supposed to go "Oh! Guess I HAVE TO change your grade if you want it that bad." Consider if instead of "loving …

The nurse was at risk of losing her job, because the mother was the patient. Not the "father". The nurse conveying her medical option to the "father", without the mother's authorization, could be viewed as a breach of Doctor-Patient Confidentiality. While DNA is conclusive and legal, the nurse probably has had enough experience to make an educated guess. And from the post it seems she did convey that it was just an educated guess.

This is what I consider to be the true definition of toxic masculinity. The linking of one's masculine identity to something that is detrimental to said male. As a child, it would come in the form of "What? Are you chicken?". This statement usually comes after a boy has refused to do something he has deemed to be dangerous, or potentially harmful. The notion is that he must do this thing he knows to be wrong, or not "be a man". As an adult the statement changes to "Man up!", but the situation is…

Sorry to hear about your pain. Try to work on yourself as you heal. Their ability to switch is so well know, it has even made it to this car insurance commercial.

In general, you might be right. As far as wining presidential elections, how many people live in LA or NYC does not matter much. California and New York are deep blue states. To win elections, you need to win the swing states. And in the swing states, the rural population came out in droves won the elections for Trump. The cities in these swing states are growing. So in the future rural swing state america will become politically unimportant as well.

"Man up" is just the adult version of the slur "chicken". "Chicken" is uttered to boys, just after they have declined to do something they have determined to be potentially harmful or unwise. It's not uttered to dispute the nature of the action requested. Instead "chicken" is used to link that boy's male identity to this action that everyone AGREES is unsafe/stupid for him to preform. In other words, if you don't do this dangerous thing, then your not a real man. Now, I'm OK connecting "male ide…

U.S. Bill of Rights: Amendment 1 is supposed to guarantee the right of the people peaceably to assemble. Those guys back then knew about the importance of men meeting together to talk.
