Because no women or men ever discovered their sexuality on their own? I'm gay so whatever, but I didn't always "know", I wasn't "taught" to like women, it was just the only thing I was exposed to for the most part. Homosexuality/Bisexuality/Whatever else is very popular in mass media and children are more independent than ever thanks to the internet. So why is it big bad patriarchy all over again?

Gay male, people find odd that I don't fall into the whole scene+feminist+whatever other topics and have different views instead. They see me as if I was some white nationalist of color, if that makes any sense. But I don't care. I'll just fight for whatever is right.

Can men wear short shorts? No, they probably don't. It's not targeting women. Its targeting clothes that reveal too much skin (the schools definition of "too much"), which is something the school deems appropriate. I personally don't believe in dress limitations unless you're enforcing uniforms, but this girl does not have a case.

You're a great sis to worry about these sort of stuff. This is my advice but, as someone without a prominent male role model in his life, I do remember looking up to the guys who organised holiday trips. They make us go on cultural activities and play and do all sorts of cool stuff. You'd be wise to send him to this kind of adventures although you'd need to talk to some of the people in charge to explain the situation, his needs and what exactly is it that you'd like for him to experience.

Such bullshit. Men are always expected to sacrifice themselves, most notorious example being "women and children first" when it comes to saves lives. I say, fuck that, every life is important, male or not. If I needed to save a life, I'd do it, but not because I took a moment to think about the life's gender.

I consider it a little ridiculous that they refuse to do that simple short military haircut just because she's a woman, although I do understand that they are not trained to cut and treat woman's hair. I don't think the complaint is valid, just that it's a little ridiculous (I'd be like "yeah sure, we can try")

Never give homeless people money. Ask them what they need (food, clothes, water...) and get it for them. Not only because it might be a scam, but because they might in fact be drinkers etc or otherwise misuse the money.

Go to the police. If there's a lack of proof down the road, you have to own the scepticism. That scepticism is there to prevent someone from being convicted without evidence. It sucks if that situation happens to you because you know it happened, but understand its the same for any crime (such as a robbery), and not some rape apologist network pulling the strings. Good luck

Hate people equating Men's rights to left or right. Men's rights is just justice. 1) As if being right-leaning is being evil. 2) As if equality is something only the left wants (hint: they don't). I'm not from the US so I'm not into your politics or system (we have four almost equally big parties here) so being labelled a racist Trump supporter is pretty hilarious to me. I couldn't care less about other countries' politics. I've got enough with my own's.

You pick a rough point. I agree with women not wanting to be seen as just something sexual you look at. You imply "men look at women because they are men". And I don't really like that. I've got a gay friend who isn't catcalling every guy he finds nice. Because the other guys either don't want to be seen as something sexual (or "just" something sexual) if he knows over half of them won't be interested. I don't mind diversity. When it's deserved. Being forced to recruit men or women sucks. I want the best. What if your surgeon was a woman just because there were less women in the year she enrolled in college in the field, so she had an extra score at getting in, but turns out she's worse than the man that was left out? There are excellent men and women. Let them all rise to power naturally and do not push either gender back or forth.

Things you can extract from such a situation: Woman need more time in the bathroom. For whatever reason. Men, who are then faster using the bathroom, now need to suffer the consequences of bad women habits. Sounds fair. At least we aren't being made to pee on the alleyway. Thank you feminism!

Girl Scouts sucks. The girls want to do the cool stuff the boys want. That's not wrong. These are just little kids who want to do cool stuff and they don't care about politics, so I'm not blaming the girls at all, I'll blame the Mom Scouts though. I've got mixed feelings: What the fuck do they do at Girl Scouts? That is drawing girls away? Why don't they decide to improve Girl Scouts instead? Feminists piled on Ivanka Trump this week after the First Daughter revealed her struggle with post-partum depression, a mental illness that strikes thousands of new mothers each year. Many women, including a number of feminists, have been championing this same cause for years, calling post-partum depression a "silent menace" that sneaks up on moms, just as they should be enjoying time with their newborn children. Feminists have also been vocal about identifying mental illness in women, dispellin…

Both genders are victims of social constructs like how macho culture harms men, and how expectations feminity hurts girls, gender roles hurts everybody. You don't agree? My sister is more into creative DIY and I'm better at big stuff like carpentry or assembly. Together we are gods. The opposite is true for my cousins. She's great at assembly and he's better at crafts. I think it has to do with you're brought up, not a gender thing. Ignore Ikea. They want the SJW audience.

You can't deny racism, sexism, homophobia etc do exist. You and I might not be racist and all, but many people is. Those parades are just to force people to talk about it, to see it's normal. It works. Sorry you don't enjoy them, but they are helpful. It's sad there isn't some pride days for white and men. We suffer too, no doubt.

Gay pride is still necessary. I had a friend telling me how accepted it is to be gay. 15 gay men were beat up throughout the pride week in one nearby city alone, and it was classified as gender violence (here it comprises sexual orientation too) so it wasnt a random pub brawl but violence towards them for being gay. I wish there was no need for pride or any LGBT awareness movement but the truth is there still is.

Do women prefer fat guys? No. They love musclebeef Chad. I'm gay and personally don't mind a little fat but I'm not into very fat guys either. If anything, more fat chicks get laid than fat dudes. What gives? Body and appearance will always be a huge factor in dating. It's the truth. I (have to) hope that their point isn't what you're describing, and that they just don't want dolls of any gender being used as objects or suffering from perverted fantasies, and those could be projected on real females or generate expectations that women want what is done to robots. Really worth watching it for yourself. Basically denounces how feminism leaves men's issues behind, how big are those, how men become second class citizens in divorces, how MRA are sabotaged.. It touches many different topics and individual cases, I couldn't really narrow it down. Please watch it! It doesn't talk about anything LGBT though if you're wondering. Staying fit/healthy is a gift for your partner, of either gender. Looking better/continuing to look good is great too. Don't do it just for you. Do it for the other person who a) wants you to live longer and b) loves it if you look good. I'm not saying become anorexic, I'm saying don't let yourself go and don't lose healthy habits. Manspreading (sigh at the word) isn't "necessary" but it really is uncomfortable to sit with your legs tightly closed. I never sit like in the pictures and never see that in public. It would take only a polite request to make anybody realise they are taking too much space. This is true for either gender. Women usually carry large bags and those are annoying as well. Right when I disconnect from Trump gifs, this sub gets flooded with sooooo much shit I can't begin to believe! This has to be a hoax. Is the link broken or did we put the website out of its misery?

Let me just organise this white-only screening of Spider-Man. Yeah... It's the same, right?

I had never thought about it that way (comparing it to speeding) but you're right. Unless someone has stealthily drugged someone else, I don't see why being drunk should clear you of responsibility for your acts. What if I murdered someone while drunk? "Whoops I wasn't thinking straight. Had I not been drunk I would have never done that." That won't work.

Add these women on FB, then find their partners and show them this. You already have their names. Tell the partners how to proceed (get help, where to go etc).

SJWs really love labelling people. I'm "middle-left" I guess, and not from USA, but I don't vote "middle-left" because in my country that party (luckily we have 4 almost equally big ones) isn't really to my liking during the last elections, so I voted something that seems more middle-right and suddenly I'm a fascist, misogynist etc. Ugh... Why can't I vote on a case by case basis? Politics isn't soccer, unless you can say that to hurt someone you deem inferior or trashy because they voted Trump …

"When we say men are trash, just shut up and don't interrupt" is what the article is saying. Awful message, too. Let's all just be quiet, otherwise we are part of the problem. Feminists are the most sexist persons I know.

Thanks for so many sources. That's so... Fucked up... I've got to hate circumcision for other than medical issues. I wish people didn't turn a blind eye to the fact it's the SAME as female genital mutilation. Including the religious and cultural drive. Everyone else, please wake up.

Donno, it's not like teenagers can just be exempt of anything because they are teens. What if a 14 year old rapes someone? It can't just be "lol s/he just a kid they do dumb shit", at least I don't think so.

I watched two days ago. Told a couple of friends what it is about (denouncing issues men have because nobody listens to those issues). They immediately jumped at my throat saying "they hope I was kidding", that all those issues are "our (men's) fault" and thus patriarchy's fault and that I cannot complain because being a man carries a lot of privilege. Whose fault is it again? I'm not treated better for being a boy, I'll have you know. And it's certainly not MY fault that court is biased. Not yo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
