Dating someone who wants you/cherishes you is a game changer. I also spent most of my dating years chasing men that didn't want me, ignoring my gut, living off the thrill of having something everyone wanted (even if we weren't compatible), putting up with horrible behavior and excuses, and so on. And now? I'm dating a good guy, I feel safe and secure. I don't have to think about him having options if we broke up because he doesn't give me that vibe. He doesn't ignore me if I'm upset or if we dis…

What's the point of even being engaged then. For me, being engaged means making wedding preparations, planning. Picking date, location, venue, church, going thru catering/decorators etc... As broke college students, what's the point? That's how you end up being engaged for 5 years lol.

Back in 2008, my cousin accidentally caught the bouquet and then she threw it at the crowd again 🤣

There are so many resouraces and options available. It takes 1 min to think of dishes you like (let's say tuna casserole, spaghetti, beef and broccoli or something) and 5min googling to find recipes. Print them out and make a grocery list, watch youtube vids, e-books, tons of meal prep videos! Literally trial and error on what you like.

God thank you for saying this. I recently found a youtuber who talked about this, and how dating in Latin America is so much easier for American men because women are more suited for family 🤢 How feminism has ruined modern dating in America 🤢 How men don't care about your job or how much you make, they want a woman who is peaceful, sexually attractive and responsible "will make their life easier" 🙄 And how men in Latin America are more masculine blah blah. As a Latin American woman, I think this…

I always measure the relationship by how I feel. With healthy normal relationships I’m not questioning shit- feel calm, happy and everything’s light/easy going- I laugh a lot, have fun and know why I’m staying. With bad ones I feel confused/anxious and constantly question their character. This speaks to me. With my previous partners, I always felt anxious about them not responding to my texts/calls, wondered where they were, what they were doing, then I'd question if they even liked me as well. …

LMAO yes. I come from a country with a huge telenovela culture (guilty pleasure...) and one of them, 10 years ago, was about a young woman being ambitious and trading up her boyfriend of years for her rich professor. Obviously everyone (in the novela) was outraged over this, and it's a fake story but nobody ever mentioned, why would they all be after her if it wasn't for her looks?! But nobody wants to talk about that!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
