The is precisely it. I'm sorry that slavery happened. Doesn't mean that I'm willing to take even 1% blame, even if nearly 200 years after slavery was abolished I'm supposedly experiencing some privileges because of it. For all I know, my ancestors may have been strongly against slavery and fought to stop it. Same with colonialism. Yes I'm sorry that it was the root cause of untold oppression on many people groups, but it doesn't mean that I'm responsible for any of it.

Do doctors really do that? Surely you'd be able to find a doctor who would do it.

Not quite, Britain had suffragettes and suffragists. The suffragists were peaceful campaigners, but the suffragettes more believed in direct action.

The same reason that feminism is called feminism even though it's about gender equality.

Why was she mad at you for that? What was she expecting of you? A banner saying "congratulations you're a woman" with confetti cannons?

"A boy should look like his father" Wait, this is a thing? It's not like you're going to be holding up your penises next to each other and comparing them!

Women make 70% of men in the same position, with the same education and experience No they don't Then, these same men catcall them on the streets, criticize everything they say, and nitpick about clothing choice and sexual activity. Yep, blame what the few do on all men. How many derogatory names are there for men? I can only think of "dick" and "prick" and they are the same thing. Women have "slut", "whore", "bitch", "cunt", "thot", etc. What's that got to do with anything? The number of names …

You've not encountered the argument that if a woman is drunk she can't consent, and therefore she is being raped?

Good question. This sub isn't for hating on feminists, it's for building up men.
/r/MensRights18/01/16 04:03 PM

Did she actually say that or is that just paraphrased from the entirety of her content?

Particularly when there are feminists who say that men who claim to be feminists need to check their privilege.

Technically it's manslaughter but I agree with your sentiments. I was merely stating that OP couldn't have prevented it in anyway and it's simply a very unfortunate occurrence.

Another important note. You shouldn't feel guilt over the accident. It was an accident and there was no way you could have predicted it. I'm sorry it happened to you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
