This type of thing makes me appreciate my dad. We're 3 daughters, and according to my mom, when he was asking her to have a third (aka me), she thought he only wanted to try because he wanted a son, and he told her "if only you knew i don't care" (paraphrasing). Of course, it's not extraordinary, but I've never felt like he would've wanted a son instead. I've had convos with some of my ex-class mates from university regarding their now husbands... One of them, married with a baby, told me she only gets 3 to 5 hours of sleep a DAY. She works from home, let's say 9 to 6 is her official schedule. She wakes up at 5 or 6? Because of the baby. And goes to sleep at 2 or 3 am because she needs to catch up on work. Yeah. I don't know if I have a very romantic view of relationships, but I want to be in love with the person I'm with. And that means doing certain things for them, I want us to be equals, I don't want to be worshipped for just existing. It's hard to find an ugly woman (imo) because even if she wasn't graced with good DNA, she'll take good caree of herself, do her hair, wear make up, skincare routines, eat healthy, exercise, wear nice clothes and bam, she's a hottie. That's exactly what happened. She was an aunt in law, and after 30+ years of marriage she got fed up of his blatant cheating and divorced him and got most of his properties. My cousins don't talk to him now either. Yes! Even if they don't want to cook or don't like to, I'm sure a an adult can figure out their meals for a week.
