Fun fact, the locals hated the statue when it was first shown. Shortly after it was gone, the locals had thrown it into the harbor right across the street.

I wouldn't hold my breath for that. The Minister of Defense(Claus Hjort Frederiksen) from our government actually said that a ban could create a national risk. Link in Danish Med et forandret mediebillede med blandt andet fake news og aktører på verdensscenen, der kun er ude på at lave rav i den vestlige verden, kan et forbud få alvorlige konsekvenser for Danmarks sikkerhed, mener han. With a changed media picture with, among others, fake news and global actors who are only seeking to create cha…

I doubt an auction with Picasso, Dali and Warhol art would be using a flyer to advertise themselves.

“for far too long men have been absent from the discussion of social equality.” Maybe because men are told to shut up and check their privileges, or that they're "a f*ucking white male". Who would want to keep engaging in that?

I can give the data from Denmark for this. link The data is from the website Danmarks Statistik which is a government official data website with a lot of datapoints for Denmark. I've pulled the data for Bachelor students as per October 1st, 2016(most recent datapoint). One note to keep in mind, this education level is completely free, students only have to pay for their own books. Only barrier of entry are for some eductions where you have to have a high enough average score to apply(mostly for …

Some other that I recall were the use of the word "savages" when other tribes refer to the Noras, and also that the Carja prisonguard Jeneva didn't use the correct pronouns.

Well, they really shot themselves in the foot with the Sweden match, only to cave in and accept a temporary agreement this week. The problem is that UEFA/FIFA doesn't decide what happens to them til November 16th, so they might be kicked out of world championship, will then miss Olympics, and might even not be allowed at the European championship. This will set them back 4 years at worst.

919 people in 24 hours is 38 people per hour, or 1 new guy every 90 seconds. And that's not including any breaks at all.

Try searching Australian Womens Network on Google and you get several links for their website. Then try searching Australian Mens Network and the only website is for this event. Did they just create this group for this event? Searching Google for the group doesn't really give many results compared to the women group. And the results that do show up are almost all for the event.

starting to make me wonder if that's what drove charlie sheen to go from already pretty fucking crazy to full on insane. And that's the only reason why I ever watched that show, but it was a fun trainwreck to watch.

South Park started doing this shit of including this trendy leftist narrative. If you're referring to the PC Principal, PC culture and SJWs in South Park, it was done in a satirical way to make fun of those groups. But of course, if you watch SP to get away from all that, I can understand it's annoying.

Reminds me of this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Sexes_(tennis)#1998:_Karsten_Braasch_vs._the_Williams_sisters 1998: Karsten Braasch vs. the Williams sisters Another event dubbed a "Battle of the Sexes" took place during the 1998 Australian Open[34] between Karsten Braasch and the Williams sisters. Venus and Serena Williams, aged 17 and 16 respectively, had claimed that they could beat any male player ranked outside the world's top 200, so Braasch, then ranked 203rd, challenged th…

Their idea is properly to kill off all men now, then raise future generations of boys as girls since they can't be influenced by current men.

That, or they'll adopt a version of the Japanese Window Worker. The girls will be hired on paper to make the workforce 40%, this will allow the company to bid on contracts, but the girls will not actually be working. If only a few companies do this the competition will be limited, allowing the companies to increase their price(since they have to cover the cost of the female Window Workers). As they said, it will be the tax payers who will suffer from this.

This so much. I have no problem if they want to make a female Thor, but the problem is if they say "Screw all male Thor fans" and just make the female Thor the new comic they publish and that's all the fans will get now. This would be like removing Dean and Sam in Supernatural and replace them with racial diverse/minority people who are completely different from what the fans wants. You end up alienating the original fans, and don't get the same number of new fans compared to the amount that lef…

Besides the points made by other people in this thread. At what point would an infant have sex and risk Aids/HIV/other STDs? And an adult would know to use a condom if they don't know if their partner is STD clean or not. You could easily make it so circumcision have to be consented by the person it's performed on, and parents/guardians can't give this consent on behalf of an infant. This would mean an adult could have a circumcision based on their own choise and not have it forcebly done to the…
