male leering i experienced as a child literally fucked my brain up beyond belief and made me try to convince myself i was a man to identify myself out of it. i would say that it did more damage to me than any emotional or physical abuse i experienced. this person is an idiot, and probably does the same thing to other young girls and women. hope he falls in a hole and never gets out

I think its important because (and im speaking as a bisexual woman here) it carries a lot with it. For me, same sex attraction wasn't just that, it was also how i thought about myself as a woman, and other women, and attraction in general, and the role i felt i had to play in it. It was a fundamental aspect of my growth as an adult, to realize that i was bisexual. And if i was the wife in this scenario, i would want my husband to support me through that. Just like i would support him.
