Sorry but no. Not reversible. You clearly didn't read what I said about surgery. I'm not saying people can't be or shouldn't be trans...I'm saying that children shouldn't be able to consent to taking medicine that will fundamentally do irreversible changes to their body chemistry. Some children change their minds and I want them to have more options, not less like you.

I never said anything about denying their identity. Yea it boggles my mind that parents are letting children take life altering medications that can't be reversed. I'm all for people doing what they want as adults but I worry about children making decisions that they won't be able to reverse even if they wanted to.

I'm not sure she could. People are allowed to record in public spaces and in their own private homes. The only time you need permission is if you are recording phone calls, not in your own home, or if you are profiting from it. If she met him for coffee or went to his home and confessed and he recorded it there would be nothing for her to use as leverage. I really like the idea of 'upgrading' but I also worry about who has control of the software. Would there be a bug that erases my mind? The Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex anime series touches on a lot of the issues that prosthetics and cyber brains could have. It's a tough question but I think I would choose to machine myself. Just think if you could convert your brain into data you could theoretically live forever.
