There is very little "rush and thrill and excitement" when you're a problem gambler. Most female problem gamblers are slots players and what slots are very good at doing is providing a temporary distraction from their shitty shitty lives. You may have already been down this route but there are some quite good drugs out there that can help, even just short term stuff i.e. three months on Prozac has helped a couple of people I know to get past some pretty serious shit. It might not be for you and I'm not a doctor but those kinds of options are there. I hope you find what you're looking for.

It's ok, you're one of a great number of people who have suffered from depression at some time in their lives, including myself. Whatever motivates you to get out of that state of mind is cool, self talk, drugs, not living a normal life, whatever it takes, stay strong and stay alive. Just remember you don't need to be an astronaut or a formula 1 driver or a captain of industry to live a happy life and happiness must be the goal, what else is there.
