I am a female, Ex-Feminist. I need advice pleaseTo be frank, everyone should just be fighting to support there fellow human. These cultish one side vs the other views are the problem. It’s a pendulum that will swing one side or the other forever. I watched both men and women cut a guy down asking for friends in a local Reddit post. Men would tell him to go to the gym and he was weird, women would ignore him say he was weird. So I started a local group I called the Man Cave, we just support each other, lots of women have these great support sy… | /r/MensRights | 31/07/25 10:22 AM
Serious question: is it still worth it getting married as a man?I think you’ll find the answers in this sub Reddit a bit bias. | /r/MensRights | 22/12/24 04:05 PM
| -12 | Anyone else just get exhausted around women?!As I sit here in the hospital having my first baby from emergency c section, knowing we are prepared only because my wife worried and was emotional, I just have one thing to say. One day you’ll appreciate and your communication to find balance and improve together is a key to bringing out the best of both. | /r/MensRights | 11/12/24 12:53 PM |
What is the main difference between male and female self improvement advice? It’s an astute observation. My general rule of thumb is if you can’t say the same thing to someone blind of sex, race, name then it’s prolly bad advice. It’s not really self improvement to say you are enough. The world will always be lopsided and the pendulum will swing each way forever. I wouldn’t let your self become jaded like most of the answers here. Start a support group for men or be the change you want to see in the world. | /r/MensRights | 07/12/24 12:23 PM
I'm just sick of this male privilege!Hey! Sorry to hear your going through this! I’m an expectant father and saw this coming for years. I encourage you to make the group you’re looking for! Be the change you want to see in the world. About a year ago I started a male support and social group and realized the issues were all facing are needed by so many! https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/s/cMjBvTZja5 Show your son how to do for the daddies in your area! | /r/MensRights | 30/11/24 06:30 PM
As a feminist I might be over looking the men's issue. So tell me what are they? It’s great you’re taking the time to learn. I would encourage you to not think of it like a zero sum game. Men or women don’t need to bring the other down to raise each other up. In addition some of the base ones you already talked about, ie number 1 in suicide, number 1 in violent crime receivers, number 1 in rates of depression. Men are the loneliest, fewest friends then any other time in history. Men suffer in a lack of quality role models, and are put down and put aside quite often if they a… | /r/MensRights | 26/11/24 01:34 AM
How 40 strangers became brothers: What I learned building Man Cave over the last yearIt’s also a new age of communication. I find the group dynamic in a discord helps cultivate more interactions and more general interest. Try adapting your 1:1 communication for remote groups a bit to keep everyone seei bf and remembering each other. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 02:51 PM
How 40 strangers became brothers: What I learned building Man Cave over the last yearIt’s been over a year. Three guys have had babies. 6 guys have moved. Everyone has birthdays. But we run lower key hangouts monthly at minimum. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 02:24 PM
How 40 strangers became brothers: What I learned building Man Cave over the last yearThis is the new group I created yea, Meetup wanted us to pay, but we basically all juse use discord so I didn't think it was needed as I don't make anything from this. So I recreated this new one to use there free tier :) | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 01:42 PM

How 40 strangers became brothers: What I learned building Man Cave over the last yearThe ages in the group do range quite alot from 18-55. I will say the active people in the group do tend to lean towards the median around my age. The younger guys are active in the chat alot and asking advice. The older guys can come and go. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 09:41 AM
How 40 strangers became brothers: What I learned building Man Cave over the last yearWill do. It's my first experience getting all this going, so still trying to figure out a practical way to turn the audio form into a video without too much hassle. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 09:30 AM
How 40 strangers became brothers: What I learned building Man Cave over the last yearDefinetly had guys I'm not a big fan of. As the organizer I try to be supportive of everyone. That doesn't mean I am close with everyone. The idea isn't to find volume in the connections like it's a scorecard, the idea is to atleast find one person you can connect with even deeper then the group level. Right now it's a bit of a local group, but even within the local group it can be a bit far for face to face meetups, and many of us are fathers or just busy schedules. For these we're been doing a… | /r/MensRights | 21/11/24 09:29 AM
