Who said anything about hating? I don't hate anybody, certainly not because of race. It's just my preference. I'm entitled to my standards!

I only date white Hispanic women. Not ray-ciss!!

How is that different in a sexual contest versus generally? Example: "I do not prefer black people, I simply prefer to avoid them in all possible circumstances. I'm entitled to my standards!"

Obviously I mean in general. There are exceptions.

Males will say or do anything in furtherance of getting sex.

And is it not risky for men to procreate? Child support etc? Not to even mention the best interests of the child. There is no debating that having married parents raising children together is a huge advantage for any child. So while a widowed woman is different than a woman who is a single mom for whatever other reasons, if I am a male who has been careful not to procreate until I am married and financially stable, I am going to find a woman who is in a similar situation. High standards for quee…

If I've been careful not to procreate thus far, why would I want to be with someone who wasn't as careful? People can say it's not fair all day long. But just like women can have high standards, so can men! And anyone who says that's judgmental or unfair . . . I don't care!

IMO, 2 critical points to teach daughters (and sons too): 1) Be self-sufficient. Never need to depend on anyone to take care of yourself. Financially, mentally, socially, in any way. 2) When choosing who to spend time with, romantically or otherwise, choose wisely. Part of this is understanding that kids carefully watch how you treat your wife, and vice versa. The world is full of stupid people who do stupid things. The concept of "baby daddy" being one of many examples. As the kids get older, i…

Let me be the first male to say that I don't want to date or marry a woman who has "dated all of them." That's not to say I expect a virgin or a woman who has never dated anyone, but... Any woman who dates idiots or douchebags or piece of shit guys is someone I'm not interested in. And it's fair to hold me to that same standard. I think it's entirely reasonable for women, when considering whether to date me, to carefully examine the type of women I've dated in the past.

big talk from an entire subreddit that does not allow males to participate in the discussion . . . very tough! I am impressed.

hi: well many men do that. Am I one of them? No, I am not interested in that type of insult-hurling . . . kind of my main point. That sort of thing is uninteresting to me, and yes, it is . . . wrong. A bad idea. A dumb thing to do. I have no proof of what I am saying here, only my (anonymous, I think) words. FDS seems to me like it could be better than the insult-hurling, it potentially could have interesting discussion, but it allows no real discussion and usually devolves into behavior just as…

Well anyone who does that, especially publicly on Reddit, does not have the moral high ground. Not even close. And that sort of thing is routine on FDS. They deserve to be called out for that. That is truly terrible behavior. "Well men do it too!" is a ridiculous attempt to justify terrible behavior.

I agree regarding standards and being more empowered in dating. I support that completely. But realistically it's extremely little of that and a whole lot of ugliness/judgmental posts/childish prattle about men. By the sounds of what so many of them have to say, they certainly seem to have made a lot of mistakes or bad judgment when it comes to dating. A lot. A lot lot. .

I've heard enough of what you speak. Ridiculous bias, shrieking hyperbole. I never claimed to be oppressed. My point was made in my original post. I suggest you read it again.

I make no comment about TRP or any other subreddit. Once again, the behavior I see on FDS is terrible and shameful.

There's at least honesty in that approach...

You obviously have no problem making repeated generalizations about "men," which destroys any credibility you otherwise possibly might generate. Beyond that, I don't have any opinion on FDS' various strategies regarding dating. My comment was that the behavior I've seen there is at least as bad as the behavior that they accuse various men of committing.

When women say it, it's the truth. When men say it, it's a lie. I see now. Thanks for clarifying....

Taunting men who are fat, bald, or otherwise unattractive is not the same thing as calling them out for bad behavior..

I don't see the connection between "not getting taken advantage of in relationships" and taunting / making insulting comments regarding a picture of a fat balding man that they found on the internet . . .
