I've been working at rebuilding my self-esteem after it's been chiseled away by rejection and jealousy, and I feel like understanding the validation thing is another piece in that puzzle. I know logically I shouldn't care about sex but I can't make the leap to actually not caring about it. I have friends and am engaged with my life, but maybe not enough?
