I have lost 60 pounds in 6 months! I am still incredibly lonely and am still the physical manifestation of a scream. I am still hitting a punching bag and now learning to play drums. Gaining a lot of confidence singing Jellyfish tunes. My arms have elbow divots and my winter jacket has a bunch of room in the front. I remain incredibly frustrated about the amount of attention women seem to receive and very little about dating feels egalitarian to me. I want to actually receive attention from wome…

I'm not offended by your comment and am not suggesting it be removed (it is enlightening and based on statistics!), but the mods here seem to have no idea what blackpill is...

Is the process of getting to know somebody for a while as a friend, then becoming lovers completely dead? I meet new women and feel like I am disqualified from being a romantic option because I am not immediately swinging my dick around the first time we meet.

That hyphen is bananas and looks like a new woke term or something. Someone-male.

Did solo Valentine's Day feel more bad this year than any other for anybody else? I know it's a stupid commercialized holiday. But every other year I have been single on V-Day I felt more hopeful about the future. Things just seem so bleak now.

I was/is this guy and it feels too late to find anyone now. I never did anything with the thought "I am being nice so I deserve X", it's more akin to the just world fallacy. Like I knew it wasn't guaranteed that my niceness would net me a partner, but that it was likely. That women would recognize it and value it. I think I am veering towards self-harm. But I don't need the links, folks.

I wonder how many single men are like me and go to work alone and eat lunch alone and go home alone and go to the gym alone and go to bed alone and I think my body has become the materialization of screaming and the pillow doesn't quite make for good cuddling but it's all I got and I guess I gave too much of myself to the women who gave me a chance but weren't particularly bothered about our breakups because why would they, they receive attention on tap from the world, why would they have poor s…

Men just need to stop being desperate This is the root issue but I don't know what the solution is really. How do we expect desperate men not to behave desperately? What if... women began rendering more attention to men who are desperate? I guess there is no incentive. I'm not disagreeing with you and I appreciate your perspective, although it can be frustrating to be gaslit with denial from other women about how much attention women receive generally.

Why do we default to the suggestion that things would be more balanced if men didn't simp? Why don't we make conjecture about women giving more attention to more men rather than receiving receiving receiving? Oh right--because it is a position of privilege. Is it invisible to those who have it? Or are women unwilling to relinquish it? We say that women don't render attention to men because it may be interpreted romantically when that wasn't the intention, or because men supposedly do not find it…

Even if I take you at your word for this, none of the things you listed really were evidence for it. Agreed, my comment wasn't really intended to be an argument with supporting evidence, but I can see how it would seem that way given the first part. Still fiercely egalitarian! I think I just value the social benefits (as I perceive them) of being a woman more highly than those of men. I find myself in a very lonely phase of life and much earlier than I think is normal. Seems much harder to turn …

It is frustrating how many younger male PPD posters regurgitate incoherent shit about women's behaviour without presenting even anecdotal evidence, thus giving firepower to the outlier women of the sub to torch male PPD posters and men in general when it's the minority who do in fact earn the label of misogynistic incel. I just struggle with how I felt sold a bill of feminism and egalitarianism in my youth only to realize that nearly every social advantage and benefit belongs to most women and v…

Is it anyone else's experience that literally every woman you've ever known by name is dating or has a partner? I feel very gaslit by responses about how I'm "only noticing the pretty girls" when not only is that not true for me, but both of my only LTRs were with women who would not be considered conventionally attractive or even fit. I realize my experience is, of course, anecdotal.

having years of validation What does this look like for you? What do you recognize as providing that validation? This isn't a criticism. I lack sources of validation or perhaps I do not register those sources in my life deeply enough. I guess I only think about social validation and I have an impressive deficit of that.

Slumping again in terms of the exercise, but having success getting out there and playing Magic in an attempt to bring the friend number up from zero. Gotta pace myself though with the friendliness as to not seem desperate. How do I stop being jealous of the attention women receive? (Genuine question, although I don't anticipate helpful, non-aggressive answers: this PPD's population is near-totally composed of outlier people who will deny generalizations that don't apply to them anecdotally.) It…

A weary gaming chair creaked under the massive weight of my beer gut and thunder thighs as I hunched forward, my interest piqued by a dopamine-release-triggering red circle on an ellipse-laden chat bubble. "Did you see my reply to your comment on r/PurplePillDebate? I agree with all of your rationalizations that explain gendered behavior and your success and/or failures in dating. a/s/l?" ...and that was how I met your mother.

I opened up on social media and it resulted in me being kicked out of a group that I belonged to for five years I was told that I was being banned because my group members did not want "members of our community to be exposed to messages that may be harmful or alienating" (I was never espousing hate but everyone seems to like making assumptions and cry bigotry) Seems really hypocritical because I'm the one who has been harmed and alienated I feel like humanity is doomed, we should be able to have…
